From the Bada Bing to the Blue Iguana and in between, movies, TV shows, and the written word are littered with strip clubs. Anybody have a favorite? I do.

?The 1996 film, "Striptease" had some pretty realistic strip club scenes. The outdoor sign of Cheetah's in Las Vegas was prominently shown, and I the intent was to convey that the indoor scenes were filmed there as well. I later read that the latter part of that wasn't true. If anyone knows where the indoor scenes were filmed, I'd appreciate knowing.
Also, I concur with Slick. The "Jiggly Room" in Married with Children was a great, albeit fictitious, venue. However, what was real was the porn star Letha Weapons and her grossly fake boobs who appeared as the stripper "Rocky Mountains," in one episode. See:
She was also the first porn star I ever encountered working as a real stripper in a strip club. That club was what is now Bare Elegance, North Hills, CA (two names ago). That was early in my club-going career. I later went on to see six more. There is a seventh, here in Seattle, that I haven't seen yet.
I was going to say the Bada Bing for accuracy but actually the Russian controlled club in Dexter season 7 is pretty good. I can't remember the name of it but it figures prominently in a number of episodes and the atmosphere feels very right for a small extras club.
The strip club in Banshee, the Cinemax series and extra credit for some of the hot civie girls getting naked as well!
Stripper Lessons, by John O'Brien. This is the same guy who wrote Leaving Las Vegas. Remember that he killed himself when this later work was being made into a movie. Stripper Lessons is actually an upbeat story.
The leading girl is a stripper, blonde bombshell with big tits. She usually does not "have to work" as she will have and SD. She has one now and he keeps her in a nice condo and supplies her with a Ferrari. He is married. But now he seems not to even have time to see her. As the story progresses he is clearly trying to cut her off.
The leading man is just an average joe who drives around in a beater of a car and works a shit job where he gets dumped on every day. So he goes to the strip club.
I'll let you read it yourselves to see what happens from there.

I would as soon go to a club named STD as I would Porky's.
My favourite club in Alberta is The Rig Pig in Nisku. Scenes from a really crappy movie called 'Fubar 2' were shot in the club. The movie club was called 'Peelerz' and the film crew prepared signs and backdrops to match the club's movie name. Ownership of The Rig Pig kept all this movie stuff after shooting of the film was finished and tried to rebrand the club as 'Peelerz'.
Regular customers of the club are having nothing to do with this. Oil patch guys wear the name 'rig pig' with pride and we will go to our graves calling the club by its proper name - The Rig Pig Club; whatever new name that club ownership tries to attach to the old joint.
I wanna say the strip club in "Beverly Hills Cop". But I cannot find the name of the club. Did they show the building from the outside? I can't remember.
I did find the name of the song playing during the scene. "Nasty Girl". A Prince song performed by Vanity. It was suggested by the real life stripper hired to shoot the scene.
