50 Tips for Strip Club Managers
Lopaw, While I have you "on the line," The Hound has stated that he's a former strip club manager. Everyone who has read his blog for a while has figured out that he's from L.A. I'm of the opinion that the Hound was the manager of a club you know, The Jet Strip. Do you think you ever met him? (However, I can't discern *when* he may have had that job.)

Back to the Hound's list: @ Lopaw, I know you've commented about the availability of accessible ladies' rooms in strip clubs. Did you notice Hound's #22?

Must have been a shortage of bullets.
I lived in neighboring Riverside, CA, for just a year in 2005. Angels was the nearest club to where I lived, but I only went there once and was very uncomfortable for the 15 minutes I was in the club. It's basically a biker bar. Many more clubs were just a little further away in three directions, so it wasn't a great loss.

    Damn auto correct.
Typical of how technology influences our lives. Lastly, it gets into our jokes.

Bloomberg: Economy Grows by Most in a Decade on U.S. Consumer-Spending Gain
@ Farmerart: Re: your second paragraph -- Now it's time to spend mega-bucks rehabilitating and maintaining the infrastructure that was built in the Eisenhower era. The problem is that "maintenance" isn't glitzy, like new construction projects are and were, back then. What is your suggestion for coaxing our elected officials to devote major resources to rebuilding our streets, highways, bridges, transportation terminals, energy system conveyances, and other infrastructure?

What state has the worst strip clubs
in deference to what GACA mentioned, the circumstances here in Washington state that I mentioned above, ARE such that one CAN "paint an entire state with the same fucking brush."

What state has the worst strip clubs
Washington state is pretty bad. Only 15 clubs statewide. All are non-alcohol and with only bikini lap dances (legally). Some mileage to be had at just a few clubs. And, at least a three-hour drive to the next nearest city (Portland) with a large selection of clubs. A 16th club is due to open soon, which may be uncharacteristic of the current clubs.

    Answer and Question
    1. In college I had a professor who liked to write Carnac questions for his exams. He'd give an answer, and we students had to write a question that suited his answer. They weren't easy! 2. Some years after Carson left the tonight show, a series of 30-minute highlight shows were produced. Most all of them began with a Carnac skit. That was unquestionably my favorite character of his.

I know one dancer at the club. She wasn't working that night. I like the comment, ". . . it looks like the suspect is outstanding." Nice of the Seattle Times to commend the perpetrator.

The Hound's advice is good. But also remember that he's just one person. On TUSCL an infinite number of opinions can be obtained.

    Pasties Clubs
Thanks for all of your input. I don't recall that I've ever been to a pasties club. The most interesting comment, that a couple of you made is that the dancers remove their pasties when in the VIP. But, if their nipples are sticky upon doing so, maybe it would be better if they left them on. Again, I'm not certain that this club due to open soon, will be a pasties club, but there are two indications presently that it's headed in that direction.

    I trust you
I dog sat for a stripper a few times. One stint was for two weeks. She knows I love dogs as much as strip clubs and strippers. And, I got to see her more than I normally would because of the dog sitting. (However, I didn't get any more than a "thank you" for all that dog sitting.)

Bringing an escort to a stripclub?
In any event, go through with it. Either at your favorite club or another. I sense you'll have a great time. This is a really unique situation of "mixed modes (stripper and escort)." Please promise us that WHEN you do, you'll write another thread about it, or even an article.

    Club Recommendations
Rankuam, You didn't partake in any Seattle strip clubs the last time you were here, so you might as well try one if you're here again. You could do both a game and a strip club trip easily. Dreamgirls (at Sodo) is a two-block walk from CenturyLink Field and a block from Safeco Field. It does a very good business after Seahawks, Sounders, and Mariners games. You could just walk in, pay admission-drink charge ($20. total), then decide if you want to stay and spend money on dances. It is a Deja Vu-owned club, but it's fun after a game: https://www.tuscl.net/club.php?ID=715 For only a $20. investment, that would be worth your while. You're welcome to PM for other suggestions.

Strippers Owning Up to Their "Profession" OTC
Generally, my experience has been with those above. The dancers that I've seen OTC, and nearly all of them have included lunch or dinner out, don't want it known in public that they're "dancers." When we talk about strip clubs while in a restaurant, they always would speak in hushed tones. This next part is a little off your topic: The curious waitress you mentioned reminds me very much of a dancer I knew briefly. She was a waitress at a Denny's near a club I used to go to a lot. Since it was the only restaurant open 24 hrs., near the club, several dancers from that club would go there for breakfast after the club closed at 2:00 a.m. The waitress heard so many stories about how much money these dancers made, that she tried dancing herself briefly, including a few OTCs with me. She was certainly hot enough to be a dancer, but I know she only danced for a few months. I lost track of her after that.

    Jealous Dancers
John, I could have written your second paragraph. My ATF was just like that. Then one night she recommended one dancer whom I stayed to see after my ATF ended her shift. I mentioned to ATF the next day that I stayed at her club another three hours after she left and spent time with the other dancer she recommended. ATF's feelings were greatly hurt by that. She didn't talk to me much over the next three months. (Short version of the story. There's a little more to the long version. Anyone is welcome to PM me for a little longer version.)
