Taking a trip with a dancer
You got some excellent advice above. It sounds like your reservations have been made. I would have recommended you try just one overnight, at first, to see how it goes. Please do report back on how the trip went.

Jalowa, I'm not on Facebook. I'll send you another PM with my email address. You're welcome to use that. A short reply will be sufficient.

    Meeting Up with TUSCLrs
I've met four other Seattle area TUSCL members, and it was a great experience with all of them. We're all in this for exchanging information on dancers, clubs, and related tactics. My meeting these other members was very productive in that regard.

    Real vs. stage names
@ IronFox: Here in Seattle, anyway, a lot of dancers have Facebook accounts under their real names, and I've noticed many other dancers listed as their friends. (Some dancers also have work-related Facebook pages, under their stage names.)

Jalowa, Not Facebook. TUSCL has it's own private messaging system. Look at the title bar at the top of the screen. You'll see the word "MESSAGES" to the right of the title block. If you have any incoming message, you'll see a twirling envelope as the symbol that you have one or more items in your inbox.

Jalowa, Great stories! I used to live in L.A., and went to the goose just a couple of times. I live in Seattle, now. The San Fernando Valley was my main area for clubbing back then. What in the world made you decide to join TUSCL now?

    OT: Heinz 57 or A1?
As for Worcestershire sauce, some people who can't pronounce it will sometimes refer to it as, "What's-this-here" sauce.

    Amateur night at the stripclub
I prefer not to steer someone else's thread in a different direction, but I had another thought: Instead of "amateur night," if the term "guest dancer night" was used, with the full expectation that the guests would be a combination of amateurs and professionals (like a Pro-Am tournament), would that appease any of you who don't like to see pros at amateur night?

On occasion I'll attend an amateur night. I'm fully aware that it's mostly established dancers from other clubs. But, I find that to be a benefit, because I may get to see a dancer that interests me that I would have otherwise missed. If like a dancer I see at a contest, I'll talk to her afterward, and if she's from another club, I'll get her schedule and go in and see her. To me, this is an efficient way to scout new talent.

Oops, I just noticed there is also a listing at the same address under the name, Valkyries, that you mentioned: http://stripclublist.com/m.asp?c=19322 That's typical of that website to have a listing for the same club with old and new names, whereas the old name should just be changed, and not begin a new listing under the current name. And maybe a club with more than one name in its history is now closed, and years later that website still shows it as open.

SC_G, Check this link as well: http://stripclublist.com/m.asp?c=8560&curPage=1 It appears that the club was known as "Night Lights" at one time. It has the same address as Evie's has now. If you're not familiar with this website, don't rely heavily on anything said there. No registration is required to make comments, so anyone can post anything at anytime. It's full of trolls and hate mongers. I'm from Washington state, and it's list of clubs here, is years out of date. But for Evie's it has comments going back to 2004. You may find something useful.

To ask a question about one specific, and little known club here is like asking for help to find a needle in a haystack. You'd be better off to look at the reviews for that club, then message some of the members who have reviewed it. There are only 37 reviews going back ten years, but if you contact some of the more recent reviewers, they may be able to offer help. See: https://www.tuscl.net/club.php?ID=1499

Three penalties for this post: 1. Incorrect use of the verb, "to be." Instead of "is going to," "will be," would have been correct grammar. 2. Incorrect spelling of "Superbowl." It's correctly spelled, "Super Bowl," as two words. 3. Incorrectly predicting the Patriots. Precise penalties to be determined by TUSCL membership. Feel free to cast your votes:

The You Tube clip was posted in 2008. And it may have been old at that time. Still, the Rhino has been around since the '90's that I recall. No mention of it certainly makes me wonder about the video's validity.

    Is the PM system working?
The clock for PMs seems way off to me, as you mentioned, but everything else is working fine, that I can tell. Maybe the members you messaged were away for the holidays, unless you noticed them posting since you sent your PMs.
