I would think the longer a person waits to write a review, the more likely they are to forget important details. IMHO, if the review is from over a month ago, it would be best to go visit that club again and then write a review, or just choose not to write a review. The only exceptions perhaps being clubs that aren’t reviewed all that often.
For me personally, if I’m going to write a review, I usually have it submitted within a few days after visiting. There are occasions where I will get busy and not submit a review until a week later. If the visit was more than a week ago, and I haven’t submitted a review, then I am just not going to submit a review for that visit, as it usually means the last visit was very much similar to the last review I wrote for that club.

I have experience with both, but most of my activity with escorts happened more than 4 years ago. For the past year, the strip clubs have been very good to me.
Since it had been a while since I had seen any escorts, I would pretty much have to start from scratch. However, a few months ago I had an easy time scheduling an appointment through an agency. The girl was not as attractive as the girls I see in strip clubs, and the whole experience was rushed. It was enough to convince me going forward to do all my mongering in strip clubs.
With the clubs, I have plenty of girls to choose from, I know what they look like, and I have an easier time establishing a connection, which ultimately leads to a better experience when I go to the VIP.
The only advantage with an escort is that it won’t cost as much, but as GMD said, cheaper isn’t always better.

My 30th birthday was the last one that felt like a milestone. I do still enjoy having a birthday, but I don’t really celebrate it like it is anything special.

I had known about extras before I ever experienced extras. I first read about it in 2013 when I came across a website called Two Sheds Michigan Strip Club Pages. I first experienced it in 2017 when I finally decided to visit a club that had a reputation for extras.

I grew up in the 90’s and nothing I did back then is documented on the Internet. I can’t say the same for those who grew up in the 2000’s or later.

I would not take a stripper that rates below a 7 on my personal scale. But if it is free, it may be tempting to accept such an offer from a 6. If she rates a 5 or lower, then she would have to be the one paying me, and I’m not cheap :)

If the examples posted in this thread are true, I must say I am surprised at how low a club manager’s salary can be. With all the responsibilities a club manager has, I don’t think that is fair compensation. Oh well, at least the managers that get free BJs and FS from some of the girls at least have that as a benefit of their job.

Before I discovered the discussions portion of TUSCL, it was common for me to spend less than $150 and be satisfied with a club visit. Back then, my visits were mostly about seeing naked girls dance on stage. A typical club visit for me would last about 3 hours, and it would mostly be stage-tipping. I would get lap dances with a few girls, but I rarely ever went more than 2 songs with one girl. These visits all happened at non-extras clubs.
This whole past year has been different now that I have adapted to a different style of clubbing. I spend a lot more money and a lot less time per visit. I do set a limit for how much I am comfortable spending, but bring a little extra just to make sure I don’t run out of cash if I find I situation where I can justify spending a little more. I now budget $400 for a visit, and have yet to spend over that amount. There have been a few occasions where I had a great time and spent less than $300. However, a visit where I’ve spent less than $300 usually ends up being the type where I take a dancer to VIP within 15-30 minutes after I arrived to the club, and then leave the club shortly after.

Looking at his reviews, he wrote two reviews for the same club in a span of less than 4 weeks. That would explain why he did not get credit for that second review. You have to let 4 weeks pass in order to get VIP credit for reviewing the same place.

It has been a really long time since I’ve seen a dancer showcase happen. When I lived in Wisconsin, Silk Exotic Madison would regularly do the showcase along with a 2-for-$30 special (normal dance price was $20). Sometimes they would offer free hats and/or t-shirts as well.
I miss seeing dancer showcases in clubs. They don’t seem to happen in Detroit clubs very often. If I understand correctly, it only happens at the beginning of the shift and that is it. I don’t arrive to clubs until a few hours after shift change, so I never see a showcase these days.
I like showcases because they give me the convenience of seeing who all is working and then deciding who my targets will be.

All the upscale and mid-tier clubs in the Detroit area have booth seating. It usually costs $20 to sit in one. Most clubs do have table seating and bar seating at no charge.
All seating is free at the dive bars, but I don’t think any of them have booths. Then again, the only dive bar I’ve been to is Centerfold Lounge.

If you plan on getting anything covered, best to be prepared. So yes, you should bring a condom. Chances are the girl will already have a supply of condoms, or at the very least, can easily get one from another dancer or the house mom. But, it is a possibility that you could put yourself in a position where you’re already in the VIP and neither you or the dancer have a condom. For that reason alone, it is a good idea to BYOC.

The clubs near the airport are the ones to visit as things in Detroit proper have been cleaned up quite a bit.
Flight Club tops my list of recommendations. You will have plenty of beautiful Caucasian ladies there to choose from, but a visit doesn’t come cheap. I usually spend somewhere in the range of $300-$400 on a typical visit to Flight Club. Other clubs close to Flight Club that are worth checking out would be Landing Strip, BT’s and Criket.
If you do decide to go to 8 Mile, there is both Coliseum and Players. They are both close to each other, but a bit of a drive from the airport clubs as they are all the way on the eastside. No other clubs on 8 Mile are worth checking out.
There is also Subi’s over in Southgate, but that is really the only good choice in that area. The other club in Southgate is Henry VIII South (more on that club in the next paragraph). There is also Dream Girls in Lincoln Park, but that club seems to be more of a party club as they advertise cheap drink specials.
I have never been to Bogarts or either Henry’s (North or South). Based on reviews Bogarts is seedy, Henry’s North is seedier, and Henry’s South is the seediest.

I’ve been ignored before. It doesn’t happen to me very often, but it is annoying when it does happen. I’m not talking about just being ignored by the my top choice for the night. I am talking about being ignored by all the dancers in the club. So far, this has only happened to me once at the club I’ve been frequently going to.
Solid advice given above. Next time, try a different approach because as others mentioned, your approach probably gave off a creepy vibe.
An approach that works for me is a very simple one. If I see a dancer on stage that I like, I go up to the stage and tip her a $1. If she approaches me when she gets off stage, great. If not, it is no big deal as I usually find other dancers I’m interested in and it usually doesn’t take long for one to stop by my table if I go up to the stage and tip them.

No, I do not. Having information about a dancer from a review may be useful for some, but I put no emphasis on it. I just go to the club with my main goal being to find a dancer that is my type and have some fun. It is a lot easier to do if you haven’t made up your mind before you’ve even set foot inside the club, especially if you've never met the dancer before. Besides, no one can identify my type of dancer better than me.
