Unpublished reviews ?

Is it me or are there a plethora of shitty reviews lately? Seems in the last couple of days I'm rejecting more reviews than usual.

I'm thinking maybe some PLs are taking summer trips and all of a sudden wanna research clubs and are submitting any ole POS review to get VIP for their research - or - PLs taking vacations and doing a bit of SCing and and submitting shitty reviews b/c they don't know any better.

Definitely a lot of shitty reviews have been submitted the past few days. If I had to guess, I’d say it is about a 50/50 split between lazy attempts for VIP and rookie reviewers that don’t know any better.

I was just thinking the same thing. I think I rejected 70% of the reviews I read today.

I'm not reading them anymore. When I rejected a shitty review I get messages from people complaining.

I've noticed it too; Got tired of seeing them and decided not to review any today

Do you leave a comment for subpar reviews? I hope this wasn't directed at my reviews this week?

^ I usually leave a comment as to why I reject a review.

I usually don't read/vote on the SF reviews bc the clubs in that area don't interest me, but I did read your SF reviews after they were published bc the title of the MBOT review caught my eye - your reviews were fine IMO.

Sometimes I wish we could leave a comment on approved reviews. When they are marginal and I'd like them to include what I consider important details, like prices, but I want to approve them any way.

I also just saw a review that makes me reconsider my no reviews on closed clubs position. It had burnt down. I guess background is important.

What do you guys think about Dancer Reviews 95% good information for dancers working club and 1 line at end with customer information and good details? approve or not purpose of this site. It was good detailed information.

I can barely get that page to load to even go thru reviews. It's so slow for me

IMO it'd be a good idea if one could put comments in approved reviews and have those comments be part of the review when published

Racejeff ... I would approve that type of review since it would benefit the dancers that use the site. It could also help us PLs to know how much the dancer fees / tip out etc are when negotiating with them.

It's not a good system. Well intentioned but I'm not a fan. If I'm a newb and discover this website and write a review thinking I'd like a free few weeks of VIP to check it out and some elitists deny my review attempts, my attitude is going to be 'screw those people.' I like the old system better or a combination of yelp and Reddit where people can click buttons like funny, truthful, well written, upvotes, potential club ad, etc. if you get enough well written up votes you get your VIP. If this new system is to protect from Foster then I get that too. Needs work, you're scaring off the reviewers by all the rejections. I mean, y'all ever get turned down by a gal 3-4x - you stop trying.

Pistola +1. I really do look for any reason to approve reviews. I really only reject the reviews that are completely worthless and leave the "meh"(to me) reviews alone. It is better than before but definitely not perfect nor will it ever be. Perhaps founder should sticky a thread detailing all what should be included in reviews. Theres a few of them. Sticky them to the front page and redirect all new members to those threads. Even include a bold letter warning so people dont skip past it.
