Do you seek out dancers who have been mentioned in reviews?

Most of us read the reviews. That is why we are here! We want to know what to expect from visits to clubs were are considering visiting. Many of those reviews contain dancer names. Hopefully they are not too explicit. But if the reviewer recommends a dancer by name as going the mile, do you seek her out when you go there?

I never do. Everybody has different tastes in what they like in women and what they are looking for. Now if a buddy of mine sends me a PM with explicit details of his latest visit to a club including who did what, etc, the I would be inclined to be on the look out for her but doesn't necessarily mean that I would find her as appealing as my buddy did but it's worth a look. This excludes Papi. :)

Once in a while a reviewer will describe a particular dancer that really piques my interest and at times I may visit that club hoping to see that dancer

No. Stripper turnover is too high. Even assuming the dancer in question is a vet or "career stripper" they still move around too much.

Never. First, because I have zero interest in being x of yy served on a given night and, second, because I prefer to do my own independent evaluation of the talent.

I saw a post on here about a white girl they provided her instagram so I regonized her right away at Follies. I did get a few dancers from her just because.

Yes/no. Like PC I've seen folks describe dances that piques my interest, but its always been the physical descriptions and not the fact that they do particular things that's attracted me. On occasion I've gone in to a club on the lookout for that dancer. I've even stopped in a club I don't normally visit with that in mind.

It's worked out for me exactly zero times. A couple times I saw the dancer mentioned in the review and she very much did not live up to expectations, the reviewer described a 9 and she was a 6 at best. Most of the time I never saw her. I've also noticed even in clubs I visit regularly I rarely can figure out which dancer is being described.

So, I don't really do it anymore. Although I am kinda on the lookout for dancers I've seen described in reviews out of curiosity, I'm never really looking to see that particular stripper when I go with the intent of beings served as Rick so eloquently put it.

Not specifically, no. Might be on the lookout for her, without specifically looking for her.

I learn more about who to avoid than who to seek out. Every once in a while someone will mention a girl I wondered about and it leads me to try her out. Reviews more than a couple of months old are not useful for this.

The names are most helpful in clubs where the personal lines of what dancers are comfortable with might vary. So, the information could be used to both encourage or discourage dances with a particular dancer. In clubs where the activities are more consistent, then I look for someone that appeals to me and that we appear to have some chemistry (whether that is fake or not). I have also been to clubs where I was interested in girls on stage by their appearance, but their name was listed as a ROB in a previous review.

In summary, my answer is a combination of yes and no. I don’t usually go to a club looking for a particular dancer mentioned in reviews, but once there, the information in reviews may impact my preferences or actions. Once you have been doing this for awhile, you trust your own intuition more than that of previous reviewers. We all like to think that we may hit it off better with a dancer than the previous reviewer.

I’ve rarely seen a dancer mentioned in a review of the clubs I patronize. Even if a dancer was mentioned - I’m not going to seek her out. My view is that ymmv - and I enjoy the interaction with dancers - so I’m not looking to walk in and say -

“Joe Blow said you blew him for $76.49 last Tuesday. I’ve got $77.24 burning a hole in my pocket - so let’s get busy!”

    Yes. Just as Papi said.
It adds another dimension to my visit, especially if the helpful review was recent.

Never. Just because someone else connects with a girl, that doesn't mean she will connect with me. I actually would prefer that names are never mentioned in Reviews.

Once in awhile. My favorite cuisine is Asian so if someone mentions a fine one, I might search her out. I also enjoy reading about the honeys I know and what they are up to.

Seems pointless.. I’ve only been mentioned on here once.. it was my name and my club and everything but the guy described a different girl who looks nothing like me

I would also prefer no names in reviews.

"I actually would prefer that names are never mentioned in Reviews."

Now that you mention it, i find those "reviews" that are nothing more than a list of dancers to be laughable.

I would never seek them out. I believe in f2f first meetings.

So even if I did find a dancer mentioned in reviews, neither she nor anyone else would ever hear about that until she and I were waking up in the mornings regularly.

I cannot predict what girl I will like from anything except a f2f meeting.

SJG should recuse himself from this discussion - as he’s not been in a club in 20 years. I doubt he has plans to return anytime soon either.

I have at one of my go to clubs. It's a small dive club, so there are not that many dancers and you know if a dancers name is mentioned it's because they play. Or a dancer will get mentioned because they don't, and at this club if you don't play, you won't work there long. There is not a long shelf life for clean dancers at this club.

The first time I went to this club, I knew who played and who didn't. I went back with a dancer who did and I have returned many many times and have only left unhappy 2-3 times.

No, I do not. Having information about a dancer from a review may be useful for some, but I put no emphasis on it. I just go to the club with my main goal being to find a dancer that is my type and have some fun. It is a lot easier to do if you haven’t made up your mind before you’ve even set foot inside the club, especially if you've never met the dancer before. Besides, no one can identify my type of dancer better than me.

When I have noticed a dancer's name in a review, it has usually been for a club that I frequent. In those cases, the dancer has either been one I have gotten dances with or who is solidly on the 'no' list. I don't think I have ever seen one mentioned that I would put on my all-time A list, though. Since there has been no correlation between appearing in a review and how well it would work out getting dances with them, I wouldn't seek a dancer out because of a review.

Also, at least half the time, whatever was said has been obvious within a few seconds of encountering the dancer "Bambi is blonde with tattoos! She does impressive pole work and uses a chipper hustle!"

Since on my typical visit there are just one or two dancers who appeal to me, I would rather just see how it goes with one of them.

@chessmaster "Now that you mention it, i find those "reviews" that are nothing more than a list of dancers to be laughable."

I list noteworthy dancers in my reviews. But I describe club furniture and decor too :-)

Agree - turnover too high for names to be useful. And tastes vary widely.

I list names mostly for myself. Read my own review prior to a re-visit or while inside the club if it's slow - to seek out the joyful ones and avoid ROBs.

In six years of strip clubbing, I have avoided 3 ROBs because they were listed in reviews as ROBs.
