I've always thought all relationships between adults should be voluntary and mutually beneficial to those involved. The proper purpose of government is to prevent anyone from using force or fraud to get something they want from another person. The government has an interest in stopping sex trafficking in the porn industry but that's about it.

I would do it again. I don't know what else I would have done with the money that I would have enjoyed more. One of my friends said I should travel but I did a lot of that already when I was younger. The only traveling I feel like doing is traveling to different strip clubs and seeing the girls.

Imascumbag, if the two-drink minimum shouldn't be important to me then it shouldn't be important to the manager either. So why was he making such a big deal about it? Just so everyone knows, I asked a waitress on night shift if I had to buy two drinks and she said no. It's just this one day shift manager who came over and started harassing me, a regular customer here for the past decade, about drink purchases. The next time I came in the club on day shift no one said a word about it so even he may have realized how dumb it is to be the only strip club in Indianapolis that has a two-drink rule. Either that or his employees are ignoring his dumb rule and not enforcing it.

I only tip a dollar for a drink. I don't want the drink and usually only buy it because sometimes the waitress or manager will start making a fuss about there being a drink minimum. Also, if I don't have a drink at my table and there are several waitresses I will be constantly asked if I want a drink. It's just easier to buy the drink. I don't like alcohol or soft drinks so I buy a bottle of water. I go to strip clubs to see the girls, not to drink or listen to the crappy music.

The offering more mileage theory sounds plausible to me. This wouldn't work in a market where mileage is limited by local laws. I've seen some pretty ones here in Indianapolis, but they quickly disappear from the club. When they try to do more, the manager discovers it and fires them. The only other problem I see them having is that the more north you go the fewer Spanish speakers there are and the higher the expectation is that you speak English. I like Hispanic dancers. My two favorites now are a Puerto Rican girl and a Mexican girl. I would be open to having a Cuban regular but I haven't seen one yet that has stayed more than a month in my local strip clubs.

In the gentrified areas of Indianapolis, I see large numbers of white young people hanging out in bars and coffee shops. These same young people don't go to strip clubs. I can remember in my twenties and thirties going to strip clubs with friends. The groups of young guys I see in strip clubs now are mostly Hispanic or black with very few whites. Strip club music has moved from white rock to black hip hop since that is what the nonwhite customer base wants now. This lack of appeal to younger middle-class whites is also behind new strip clubs being blocked by the government from opening, You have always had the rightwing religious fundamentalists opposing them and yet new ones opened. Now you also have younger liberal whites opposing them. They see them as vaguely old fashioned and sexist and exploitative. They are uncool. It's this group that is successfully lending its support to blocking them. This leaves only the existing strip clubs. Those have been harmed in recent years by the Covid lockdowns, increasing crime and a worsening economy.

One thing that might help to improve the crime problem is for the police to spend less time on fining strippers for not wearing nipple tape, arresting old Asian women for giving guys hand jobs, illegal gambling and low-level drug offenses. They could spend their time instead going after murderers, robbers and rapists. We also need to reverse "defund the police" and reverse the process where penalties for stealing were reduced. Since we are now entering another economic crisis, the drop in strip clubs will likely continue. The lengthy Covid lockdowns also hurt a lot of strip clubs and drove some of them out of business. The same was true for other businesses. The Walmarts and Targets that were allowed to stay open survived but a lot of small businesses and restaurants here in Indianapolis and other cities went under. A third factor in the decline beside the economy and Covid lockdowns is crime. Crime started to drop in the nineties as more criminals were arrested and put in prison. This has reversed in recent years. "Defund the police" means fewer cops to arrest criminals. People now feel less safe in big cities and are voting with their feet and leaving. Chicago and Los Angeles, for example, have lost 200,000 people each since 2020. These are mostly middle-class people leaving. Middle-class males were a good source of income for strippers and them moving away hurts stripper income. Trying to make up for loss of income by raising lap dance prices or being more aggressive in trying to sell them won't work. Some wealthier males are using the internet more now to make contact with women for sexual activities. As the economy worsens, resulting in lower incomes, eventually this sector of commercial sex work will decline too.

A strip club can be in a bad neighborhood but is safe because it has good security. The opposite is true too. I used to go to a club I always felt unsafe at because there was no security at all on the premises. There would be a female bartender and five or six female strippers. One time four of the strippers got together and beat up an old drunk guy who tried to walk out without paying for a lap dance. You shouldn't have to rely on the strippers to deal with something like that. What if it is some big burly guy instead? What if a fight breaks out between multiple male customers? What if someone has brought a gun into the club because no one was at the door checking for weapons?

Once about fifteen years ago. It involved a guy who was on trial for sexually molesting his stepdaughter. It was mostly a "he said, she said" situation. If I was falsely accused of that I would be angry and frightened. I voted to convict him as did the other jurors. The thing that surprised me was that when he was found guilty the mother broke out crying. She cared more about him than she did her own daughter.

I've never had a regular who I pre-paid the first time I did lap dances with her. It's not because I avoided girls demanding pre-pay on subsequent visits.
