They never tell you what you need to know.
I've cut back on spending by eating in restaurants less and switching from weekly visits to a strip club to only going two thirds of the time. When I go, I usually just buy a couple lap dances from one girl instead of multiple lap dances from multiple girls. Cutting back on strips clubs is easy to do because my local clubs have been in a slow decline for years, so I don't feel like I'm missing much when I don't go.

If you look at excess death rates in most countries, they didn't drop to normal until the milder Omicron variant became the dominant variant. It was that rather than the vaccines that was the major factor in ending the epidemic.
This type of virus normally mutates into variants that are milder and more transmissible. A disease that kills someone immediately before they have a chance to infect others won't be selected as the dominant variant over a milder version. This is why no one longer dies from the 1918 Spanish flu, 1957 Asian flu or 1968 Hong Kong flu.
This is why the vaccine mandates were a bad idea. We were trying to mandate a vaccine designed for a variant no longer common, didn't stop transmission for the new variant, and wasn't needed for the general population since so few get seriously sick from the new variant. Just encouraging old people to get vaccinated would have been enough. Anthony "I am Science" Fauci supported this bad idea.

If we go into a serious recession, or even depression, people will be looking for escapist forms of entertainment to get away from the harsh realities of daily life. In the depths of the Great Depression, it was very popular for guys to go to dance halls and pay a dime to dance with pretty young women. They could also sit and talk with the women. These women were attracted to this because they made higher than normal incomes. If something like this could flourish in such bad times it's possible strip clubs could survive in similarly bad times because there are some similarities between the two,

I went to Club Rio here in Indianapolis Saturday night and it was emptier than I've ever seen it on a Saturday night. I then went over to a nearby strip club, The Pony, and it was the same thing. My stripper regular at the Pony seemed extra friendly. She asked me to sit and talk with her, laughed harder than normal at my lame jokes and said "I love you so much" at one point. I brought up inflation and she immediately started talking about how horrible it was. She's probably losing customers and is worrying a lot about making ends meet which is why I got the extra friendliness.

I've been married and had girlfriends. A stripper regular feels more like a wife than a girlfriend. When women get married, they look at the sexual attractiveness of the male but often also think about the financial situation of the guy. When I'm visiting a regular at the strip club, she is nice to me because I'm kind of taking care of her a little bit by giving her money to help pay her bills. Back when I was young and got married, I think my wife was attracted to me but also was tired of guys who just wanted to have sex with her and was looking for someone who would also take care of her a little bit.

@heaving, in the context of a strip club I know I shouldn't have a problem approaching young women but it is such an ingrained habit not to approach them that I sometimes feel hesitation in approaching them. This was especially the case when I started going to strip clubs but has gotten better over the years. My mental process has become more like yours in thinking that almost 100% of them want me to approach them.
I have had some girls be unfriendly when I approach them in a strip club. I have found this is almost always a new girl. Young attractive girls often have guys approaching them they aren't interested in and have learned to be unfriendly to repel them. If they start working as a stripper they have to get out of this habit. All the long time successful strippers have an internal switch where they can turn on the friendliness when they go to work and turn it back off when they leave.

Yes, I've done that. It's not really a big deal. It's not a case where they are superior to me. I'm just old and ugly and they are just young and attractive because we were born at different points in time, and I was born first. Someday they will look just as bad as me or worse and young guys will scurry away from them.
I've also had the opposite happen where I am reluctant to approach girls in a strip club because normally girls that age don't want an old guy like me to approach them. When I feel like this I'm happily surprised when they are friendly. In the context of a strip club, your willingness to spend money is more important than your looks.

When I read reviews submitted, I don't think of it as me doing them a favor reading and approving them. I think of it as them doing me a favor by spending time writing a review and submitting it. I know I don't get paid for the reviews I submit. Is that not generally the case? I almost always approve reviews unless they seem really bad. When something seems on the border line I just leave it up to the other members to decide if it should be rejected.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
In that period after Vietnam there was a strong isolationist mood in the country where people didn't want to get stuck in another quagmire. I went to work for the military in 1981. I took an oath to defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic, an idea I liked, but would not have done it if I had known we were going to wage wars of aggression in the future. People forgot Vietnam really fast. Our recent chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal gave me a feeling of deja vu reminding me of the U.S. fleeing Vietnam. Our inflation is like the seventies too. The only difference is this time we have a senile version of Jimmy Carter and rap is even worse than disco.

There are numerous strip clubs in my local area but lap dance prices fall within a fairly narrow range, twenty to thirty dollars each. There is one club that has ten dollar lap dances. I often run into strippers who live near it but prefer to work at clubs further away because they can make more money at other clubs. This is especially true of really pretty strippers. The club with the ten dollar lap dances serves a particular market niche, guys who don't want to spend much money and are happy with an average looking girl. There might be a demand for more than one local club like this but none of the other club owners think so and keep their prices higher.

I don't have any conflicting feelings about commercial sex when it is a voluntary transaction between two consenting adults. I would avoid a situation where the other person is being physically coerced to do something with me. Some people will say it is a form of coercion if a girl is doing it because she really needs the money but almost everyone does things on their job that they don't like to get money. Strippers have decided stripping is better than other available jobs or finding a guy who will support them.

I have a friend who calls petite women "pixies". I told him that type of female is often referred to as a "spinner" among strip club customers and he said he had never heard that before. I asked him if he thought Audrey Hepburn was a pixie and he replied that she's the queen of the pixies.

BMI is not useless. According to Walter Willett, Professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition at Harvard Medical School, the consensus of numerous studies shows that the risk of dying prematurely starts rising above a BMI of 25. To quote Professor Willett: "that means almost everyone with a BMI over 25- except for extremely muscular bodybuilders- would be healthier with a lower BMI."

I've known plenty of strippers who use a lot of alcohol or drugs. Everyone has a right to live the way they want. The problem is that many of them try to pretend to themselves that what they are doing is not harmful to their health. It's always best to be honest with yourself. Also, many of them seem to offer excuses for their drug or alcohol use. For example, they might say they drink too much because their mom was mean to them growing up. A lot of people have mean parents but don't turn into drug addicts or alcoholics. Be honest with yourself and take responsibility for your own actions.

Thank you for the definition. Where I live the demand for spinners in strip clubs exceeds the supply. I've often wondered why. I love petite girls and have had a lot as strip club regulars and girlfriends. They tend to be very maternalistic, feminine, love children, very emotional and not very physically or sexually aggressive. Possibly low testosterone levels lead to shortness and other typical female traits but that combination of traits doesn't lead many of them to go into stripping.

"When Arnold was winning contests as a young man, he was 6'3, 235. That's a BMI of 29.4....waaaaaay overweight and damn near obese (30.0)!"
I pointed out to you above that BMI tables don't apply to muscular weightlifters. Do you have a reading comprehension problem or are you just engaging in trolling now?

I stopped by on a Saturday night and there were lots of strippers here. Unfortunately, most of them were not very attractive. Their lack of attractiveness was causing them to have trouble making money and that led to them being very aggressive. I had several of them sit down at my table uninvited and try to pressure me into buying lap dances. When I got home later, I realized the combination of overly aggressive unattractive girls and overly loud bad hip hop music had put me through a somewhat hellish experience.

"BMI can be just as much bullshit as weight without context."
ElDuderino_AZ, was that directed at me? I said in the very first sentence of my comment BMI isn't perfect but is usually good enough. If you are a muscular weightlifter, then having a higher BMI is fine but most overweight Americans don't fall into that category. Americans are just too fat. It is leading to increased incidences of diabetes, Alzheimer's, high blood pressure and other health problems and increased societal medical costs to deal with them. We went from spending 6% of GDP on medical care in 1960 to 17% now. As I said before, Americans are much heavier now than then. Americans need to stop trying to come up with rationalizations for why it is ok to be fat and start eating less and exercising more.

BMI isn't perfect but it is usually good enough. At five foot and 126 pounds you are just under a 25 BMI. Over 25 BMI is overweight, so you are close to but not over it.
A study was once done showing young men pictures of women and asking them to pick the most attractive ones. They picked women around a 22 BMI. A stripper wanting to maximize her income might want to try for that. There are plenty of male strip club customers who like girls who are heavier than that but not a lot heavier than that. When I see strippers who are obese they usually don't make much money. I've had three regulars who had to quit when they gained a lot of weight.
Americans are much fatter than they used to be. The difference between 1960 and now is 25 pounds. Numerous studies show that when BMI goes over 25 people start having more health problems so our increasing fatness is not a good thing. Two thirds of adult Americans are now over a 25 BMI.

Vegas Baby
I went to Little Darlings a decade ago when I visited Vegas and liked both the female nudity and bed dances. I even went back the next night. Some of the girls allowed more extensive touching than here in Indianapolis but there was a lot of variation from girl to girl in what they allowed. One girl got upset when I touched her between the legs. She looked unhappy when we were done so I told her I really liked her lap dance and got her to smile before I left. The girls in that and the other Vegas clubs didn't seem more aggressive than here in Indianapolis. The big difference was as soon as they decided they weren't going to make more money off me the friendliness usually quickly shut down. They know most customers are tourists who won't ever come back and won't be friendly acting until you leave, as often happens here in Indianapolis where they know they might see you again.

I was a "simp" in college. I had a friend who was much more successful in having sex with girls than I was. I asked him for his secret. He said if he wasn't getting anywhere with a girl he would drop her and move on to another girl. I would get infatuated with a girl and spend months trying to win her over. This was one of the many dumb things I did back when I was young.

"What are you accusing of Fauci of doing exactly?"
Fauci and other top government officials like Walensky and Biden said the vaccines would slow the spread of the disease. When we had eight hundred thousand cases a day last winter it became obvious this wasn't true. They also said masks would slow the spread of the disease. Once again, eight hundred thousand cases a day showed this wasn't true. Florida under DeSantis didn't go down the path of mandatory vaccinations, mask wearing and lockdowns like most of the rest of the country. Adjusted for age distribution, their deaths were at the national average.
The vaccines do appear to reduce deaths among the elderly. Encouraging old people to get vaccinated while letting young people lead normal lives would have been as effective. Protecting elderly people in nursing homes, not putting already infected people in them like Cuomo did, would have helped too. The lockdowns caused psychological problems among young people with increases in suicide attempts and drug and alcohol abuse among them. The money printing to try to offset the negative economic effects of the lockdowns has led to high inflation and increasing economic distress. Fauci supported all these policies. Fauci has a long history of advocating bad health policies going back to AIDS, as a recent best-selling book by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. documented.

Anywhere there are Titties.
I watched a lot of the Larry Bird Celtics. He played high school basketball here in Indiana and no one would have guessed he would someday be winning NBA championships. We had a yearly high school all-star game with Kentucky. The Indiana coach hardly played Bird and Bird got so angry about it that it gave him an incentive to work harder.
