House prices and apartment rents are still relatively low here in Indiana, at least compared to other states. The main problem is that states like Indiana don't have a lot of good paying jobs. Most of the good paying factory jobs are gone. I work for the federal government but with our trillion dollar a year deficits those jobs may start disappearing in the near future.

I know one former stripper who died in an ambulance from a severe asthma attack, one who died from a drug overdose, one who took a stray bullet in the head, one shot by a jealous ex-boyfriend. Girls who enter this profession often come from lower class backgrounds and have the types of problems that class has.
My very favorite regulars do better, though. They were pretty, had very friendly personalities , and usually showed up for work. Qualities like that will help you in any job.

An out of towner looking at the low number of reviews might think this is one of the worst clubs here. It had a previous owner, though, and when the owner changed the old reviews were not carried over. This does not appear to be the case with Jaguars and Jiggles after they changed owners. The quality of girls in those two clubs has dropped off, which saddens me since I used to have many regulars there.

I have always thought that people change their personalities based on who they are with. The stripper might be one person with the customers, another with fellow strippers, another with her boyfriend, another with her grandmother etc. I have seen many times where a regular acts very friendly when we are alone in the lap dance area but much less so if other strippers are around. I think they appreciate the customer who picks them out from all the other strippers to spend money on because he thinks she is something special but are reluctant to show it in front of the other strippers.

They never tell you what you need to know.
A relative of mine owns a shop in another state that sells a substance called kratom. She likes the effects of it and I also have a friend who does too. It does have some possibly harmful side effects, though. It is not legal here in Indiana but I could see it being legal someday.

The stigma traditionally came from the political right but in recent years more has come from the left due to radical feminist types. Strip clubs have been around a long time and in some ways there is something old fashioned about them in their emphasis on women as sex objects.

The individual song lap dances are supposed to be $25. I have been going there for 15 years. When they enforce the $25 price they have a lot of customers. When they do not, the girls jack the prices up and the number of customers decline. The local strip club norm is 25 to 30 dollars. I have had girls try to charge me $50 for a lap dance there and I walk off on them.

I had one regular I saw almost every week for five years with no sexual extras. We did have dinner together in a restaurant three times. I never spent large sums of money on her. I just wanted to see what the experience was like. I enjoyed it but when she retired, I had no interest in doing the same thing with another stripper. I have one girl I see once a month and the rest of my strip club visits involve different girls.

I think almost everyone is good at something. According to the theory of comparative advantage in economics, people end up where their talents can be put to the best use. For example, a doctor might be a very good typist but he is better off hiring a mediocre typist to do his typing for him and focusing on his medical career.

I've been on here since 2011. Looking at my reviews, the numbers have been dropping. I did ten in 2021, five in 2022 but only one this year. I feel like this is because the adjudicators are overly critical and I'm getting tired of it.
For example, on my one review this year someone said it was "incoherent". I'm a person who outscored 95% of people on the verbal part of the SAT, has a college degree in journalism, and worked on my college newspaper as a copy editor. I think I can write coherently with that background and this remark was uncalled for. I have had other similar remarks directed at me. So, my reviews have dropped. I have no interest in trying to win the approval of the hyper-demanding types here. Why should I? They aren't paying me anything.

We aren't here for a long time, we are here for a good time.
Ricks Cabaret couldn't make it here in Indianapolis and went out of business. I knew they would from the beginning. The first time I went they wanted to charge $25 to use the lap dance area. That was way out of line with other local clubs. It appeared they had done no market research on local conditions before coming here.

I've seen some waitresses that don't look so good. Generally speaking, if your sexual market value is higher than hers you have a good chance with her. However, most high value guys can pick up women anywhere. There is no reason to focus on waitresses over anyone else.

Generations aren't very meaningful. There's a pretty big difference between Boomers who were teens in the swinging sixties and Boomers who were teens in the stagflation seventies. Think hippies versus punk rockers.
The number of Boomers in strip clubs is dwindling. They don't like the loud hip hop music and feel increasingly out of place sitting with the much younger other customers. If they go at all, it's just because of the cute strippers.

It all evens out in the long run. Women get more attention when they are young and men get more when they are older. There are more women who are married than men up to the age of 45. Then it reverses and more men are married. Part of male desirability is due to income and income increases as they get older. I noticed when I entered my fifties women my age became increasingly friendly towards me. At the same time, I had increasingly less interest in them.

That feeling afterwards of "it wasn't worth it" would almost certainly happen with me after doing a private room. Usually after about two regular dances I feel like I've had enough. I would never spend half an hour doing lap dances with anyone and here in Indianapolis that is often likely all you would get in a private room.

I've been paying less attention to day-to-day politics lately so I won't pay attention to the Trump indictment. Things are going to continue to get worse. Eventually, the ruling elites will be discredited. When that happens, you may see relatively quick changes like the ones seen as the Marxist run Soviet Union ended. I'm 67 and this will likely be after I'm gone. Even though I won't see it, I'm pretty sure it will happen. The system we have now is unsustainable in the long run.

In order to have bribes you need both a briber and a bribee. In the case of businessmen bribing government officials, you need to do two things. You need to shrink government and reduce its power to pass out special favors. You also need to expose to the public the businessmen involved. There's a lot of confusion that the current corrupt crony capitalism that exists now is the same thing as free market capitalism where the way to get rich is providing goods or services people want.

I'm spending less because the strippers are less pretty, charge more money, and are less likely to know how to talk and be friendly. I'm starting to partly substitute with other hobbies.
I'm also starting to substitute non-stripper females for strippers. If I just want to look at cute girls, I can go to a shopping mall. In situations like a waitress in a restaurant they'll also be a little friendly and chat for a minute if I want to. If they do, I leave a little bigger tip. Last night I was joking around with a cute cashier at the drugstore. I told her about a guy sleeping on the sidewalk in front of her drugstore and got her smiling. The women I work with are also friendly and some of them are pretty. I don't do lap dances with any of these women, but I enjoy looking at and talking to females too.

You have to consider the high level of inflation over the last few years. The official inflation rate is far lower than the real one. If you measured inflation the same way it was in the seventies we would have double digit inflation. I've had 15% annual apartment rent increases over the last 3 years. So, you have to expect strip club prices to go up.
Having said that, though, some of the rise is because there are fewer guys buying lap dances so the girls feel like they need to make up for that by charging more for each dance. This may not work in the long run because guys will start visiting strip clubs less often and find a cheaper hobby.

You can't make everyone happy. I outscored 95% of test takers on the verbal part of the SAT, have a college journalism degree, and worked on the college newspaper but I've had people here label my reviews "incoherent".
Most reviewers don't want to spend time writing a review and have it not published because all the adjudicators rejected it. Fortunately, the hyper-critical types are in a minority, and it isn't hard to get a review accepted. If your reviews are way too long or way to short then they won't be, but it isn't hard to find a middle ground.

The view from the other side of the room
Most guys are usually not attracted to the very tall type of girls so you would think strippers would avoid looking tall. I've read that wearing high heels cause females hips to sway more when they walk. Females normally sway their hips when they walk so making them sway more makes them seem more feminine. That would explain the high heels. A lot of what women do to make themselves more attractive to men involves making themselves look more feminine since most men prefer the more feminine rather than more masculine types of females.

I live in Indianapolis. I haven't been to Tootsies so I can't give you any advice there. Red Garter is the most frequently visited by out of towners since it is downtown. I read the other day that Bruce Springsteen always used to stop there when he was in Indianapolis. Dancers, near the airport, also has a lot of visiting tourists. If you want to take an Uber or something like that, Brad's Brass Flamingo may actually be the best strip club here.
Indianapolis is a conservative town so there are not a lot of extras here. They exist but you will need to spend more money or accept lower quality girls. Club Rio has the reputation of having the loosest rules, but it still depends on the girl. If you want the best overall experience, I don't think I would pick them.

I hope he is ok too. I like the old site better. I try not to complain about it because I appreciate the owner making this website available. If I saw a comment I liked, I could formerly click on the name of the commenter and read his other comments. If you can do that now, I haven't been able to figure it.
There are fewer posts and more crap posts because of a slowly declining interest in strip clubs in general. Someone here once said they have been keeping track and the number of strip clubs listed here have dropped by about a third in the last 15 years. Things in my local strip clubs haven't felt the same since the extended Covid lockdowns. There are still customers, but they are the type that spend less money so fewer attractive females are showing up to work as strippers. I often go out to a strip club on a Saturday night but decided to just stay home tonight.

I just go to a strip club to relax and buy a couple of lap dances. I get the guys asking for information on what girls do the most. I just go ahead and be honest and tell them why I visit strip clubs. I would only get annoyed if they started questioning why I don't do extras, but they have never done that. Different people like different things and shouldn't have to justify why they do what they do. The only rule I follow is that I won't do something I think might harm others. For example, I might get a drink at the strip club but I won't get drunk and then go out and start driving around because I might cause an accident.

I recently did lap dances with two girls on a strip club visit. One was really nice, talked to me while we were waiting for the song to start and told me I was "sweet" as I was leaving. The other was untalkative and acted like she hated being there. This has happened a number of times on strip club visits. I'm always the same person but I can get completely different reactions, depending on the girl.
The less friendly one in this case was also the prettier one. Unfriendly girls can survive in a competitive strip club environment if they are way above average in looks. The girls who really make the most money are the few who are both really attractive and who put out an effort to be nice to the customers. I'll do lap dances with the unfriendly hot types but my regulars are all both pretty and friendly.
