It will be interesting to see what the restrictions are in the MSP area... although my guess is that the 'safe' money would be on my business trip to MSP not happening

No the urge is still there... but 6 foot social distancing isn't going to be satisfying... and the contact tracing overheard is going to be an issue too.

Gut instinct was FDR for reasons stated above. However, our society then wasn't broken in the way it was today. FDR + greatest generation = easily defeat covid. In today's idiocracy... were pretty f-ed no matter which prez you pick. I think the key here is really which prez wouldn't do dumb stuff to make it worse. FDR, Lincoln, Kennedy probably are good options.

I expect a second wave, and it to be worse.

I tried tracking spending and dancers, especially when I started... but I just do not have the spare mental bandwidth anymore to invest in this practice. As long as I'm within budget for the month, I don't obsess on the details anymore.

I had a self-imposed break from clubbing for a few months ~2011 when I stopped going to my only local club and before I started travel clubbing. I don't remember how long it lasted. It was probably a longer break than this, but this is worse. My ~2011 break was of my own choosing where as this is outside my control. If big brother starts contact tracing... this break may be permanent. :(

1. get a different CC.
2. Reserve the room with CC. Pay cash. Unless she is OCD checking your CC activity online, she'll never see the charge hold. As long as your cash payment covers your bill, there shouldn't be a hard charge on your CC statement.

No income for 9-10 weeks and no savings... plus all the other job losses... my guess is there will be plenty of dancers.
With new 6 foot social distancing rules... lack of demand might be the problem.

Not much has changed for Utah... it was pretty lame to begin with.
The contact tracing bit is what worries me most. I see some serious unintended consequences if I got contact traced back to a strip club.

If you count the travel expenses (airfare, hotels) that helped facilitate a lot of my clubbing... easily $2k/month.

Anywhere there are Titties.
I used to fly east/west coast about once a month before covid. With about 10-20 people on a flight right now, the flying part isn't what scares me. It's the potential lack of services (with things closed down) or worse getting sick away from home and not being allowed to travel back home is what concerns me.

IDK. In the areas I frequent(ed) I mostly saw a dying industry. I think clubs that were borderline financially before this will have a difficult time coming back. It wouldn't surprise me to see industry consolidation in areas with multiple clubs. I think local governments will have a perfect excuse to keep clubs closed longer than other types of businesses.
