Another thing to consider is the overal rating of an area. We in central Ohio might rate our best club as 10 but it might only rate a 5 in another area with much better clubs. I think this holds true for the worst clubs. While the numbers are a nice guidline, you really don't know until you visit the place.

I think some guys are intimidated to go up in front of the rest of the club to tip. They just need to remember that we're all there for the same things and generally, none of us guys is going to judge another for stepping up to the tip rail. Maybe you should look for waste spending in other parts of your budget...do you really need THREE meals a day?...Do you really need to live in a nice place or could you get by in some kind of boarding house? How much could you save by walking to the clubs instead of driving? There's always a few extra bucks that can be sqeezed out of any budget!
