Porn Stars = Great Actors ???

Oscar-nominated James Franco definitely takes his acting seriously, especially when it comes to his performance in the bedroom. “I think if anybody who has made a home sex tape knows, what feels best doesn't always look best,” a frank Franco shared at Newsweek's 14th Annual Oscar Round Table this week. “I remember when I was 19 doing that, and then watching it back and thinking, oh, that looks horrible. So…yeah, you have a lot of respect for those actors in pornography, because they are really not just doing it, they're really selling it.” The panel, which included Colin Firth, Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams, had everyone talking about S-E-X. “For me, it's different every time,” Nicole Kidman said of her rules for on-screen nookie. “If the film is worthy, I'm willing to explore.” Annette Bening said she had fun getting intimate with her female costar in the Oscar-nominated “The Kids are All Right.” “It was completely intuitive, and she's just a joy,” Bening said of her sexy costar, Julianne Moore. “It is funny, being in love with people, or in our case pretending to be in love with people. Sometimes it's quite challenging, and that's your job.” But Franco, who earned his spot in the panel for his performance as a mountaineer struggling for his life in “127 hours,” a film nominated for six Oscars on Tuesday, just does what comes naturally when it comes to filming sex scenes. “You understand what it's like to be intimate with someone, so you just kind of let yourself go over to that situation,” says Franco. “I don't know if I've ever had a great love scene that people would think interesting."
