Bourbon Trail: Don't forget the downtown Louisville distilleries, the Rabbit Hole one is especially interesting. IMO, don't bother with Pappy Van Winnkle. Decent bourbon, but nowhere near worth the premium price. Four Roses, Blade & Bow, Woodford Reserve and Elijah Craig are good choices.
Clubs (none of the ones in Louisville allow nudity, though some places tolerate it in VIP; if you must have nude on stage, go to Lex):
PT's downtown is good for eye candy. Mileage is gonna be low unless you're packing multiple "bands".
Foxy Lady has seemingly become the "value" club in Louisville, with the cheapest dances and VIPs, and pretty good mileage. Usually better than average looking dancers.
Rustic Frog, across the river, is pretty good, though the hottest girls don't get there until after 10 or 11 sometimes. Be aware that the 64 bridge is under constructions, and the other two highway bridges are a $4.20 toll if you don't have RiverLink. The 2nd Street bridge is the only reasonable way across the river in Louisville now that doesn't charge a toll.
Thorobred is decent if you want to spend a little more, though some girls can be *much* more. Very often better than average looking dancers.
Godfather is an unknown to me because I haven't been there in a year or more, but other people I've spoken to seem to approve.
Pussycat Lounge has the highest percentage of Latinas, and mileage can be very, very high with the right one. I would no longer go there myself, because they aren't really the type for me anymore, but...
I would totally avoid Blue Diamond. Total waste of time.
Wild Horse, Sugaland and Body Language seem to be opening later than the others. I've driven past at 9 or later and seen no cars or lights. Maybe intermmittent.
I don't know when Premier is supposed to open in the old eXclusive/Dollhouse/Crazy Coconuts building, but their IG has been saying "soon" for months. At least the new sign is up now.

I've never had anyone at my home, not even my ATF. The vast majority of them have been at the local no-tell, a few at an actual overnight hotel or motel. A very few, like my current regular, have invited me into *their* homes.
Oddly enough, more escorts have wanted me to come to their home than strippers ever did. Never took them up on it; if they weren't in a hotel, or willing to come to *my* hotel, I passed.

I think Louisville and the surrounding area is one of those "smaller" markets mentioned earlier. If I were in a larger area, it might be more worth it. I might give it another shot at some point, but they've made paying anonymously harder, and being banned easier, so for now, I'll stick with the clubs.

Tipping is optional, always. Of course, if it's actually a fee for services rendered in VIP or other private dance *disguised* as a tip, that's different, but for a lapdance, it's optional.
That said, if the dancer gives you a good dance, and/or does the things you want, not tipping is a douche move.

For me, SA was a lengthy process of time spent filtering through a slurry at least a hundred, probably more, scammers, escorts (even some local streetwalkers), pic sellers, "platonic" seekers, flakes, and "whose pics are you using" fakes, to find that one golden nugget.
Now, I'm no catch by any means, and my pics on SA were real, and I was clear about my wife, and that I wasn't looking for a girl friend, just a good time, including intimacy, and like you, I'd done as much research as I could, searching username, pics, and phone number (at that time, Facebook was much more open to such searches) and didn't find anything except one old instagram account, which showed "normal" pics, i.e. not stripper, escort, etc. style ones.
So when the petite, slim, hot as fuck, then 23 year old redhead with perfect braless perky pierced C-cups showed up at the diner, I was like "Oh shit, what's the catch? What level of crazy nutjob am I about to experience?"
Turns out the catch was, like you say, she'd dealt with at least as much bullshit as I had in looking for someone. Scammers, "salt daddies", stalkers, etc., as well as people who didn't think SHE was real because of her pics. She later admitted that she'd agreed to show up mostly out of boredom, and that she hadn't really expected it to work out. We had a moderately long talk about about various things that had nothing to do with why we were there. *She* was the one who brought up "let's talk about why we're really here." She told me what clinched it for her was the fact that I didn't pressure her for an answer at that meeting. In fact, I flat out told her *not* to decide, but to go home and think about it, and let me know if and when she was ready. Within two or three days we were naked in a hotel room. It lasted about 6 months when she moved out of state, which move she'd been clear about up front; it was the main reason she was doing this in the first place.
We still keep in contact, and she still sends me the occasional pic and empty promise to visit when and if she comes back to town.
She probably spoiled me a fair bit, because while I went back after she was gone, the brand new stream of fakes, flakes, etc., the increasing prices, and the ridiculous reasons for banning have soured me on the whole thing in pretty short order, sending me back to the clubs.

Haven't see one directly, but seen a few on Facebook go that route. One of them is my current regular. She never got really bad, and shes getting back on her feet now, so she probably won't need me much longer, but at the moment, I'm seeing her often enough to pay her rent.

Certain segments of our society like to characterize these types of victimless activities as immoral as an excuse for controlling others.

Illegal is not necessarily immoral. Buying sexual services and selling one's body for sexual entertainment are no more inherently immoral than selling one's body for sports entertainment, or coal mining, or modeling, or dancing in a strip club.

Well, the "last time" I was out there was last month, i.e. September of 2022, and I bought gas from two of them, and the building wasn't empty. I suppose they might have been bought out and haven't gotten around to changing the signage yet, but I just checked, and my credit card statement indicates Sinclair Oil.
According to that WP article, they were sold to HollyFrontier in August of 2021, forming a new company named HF Sinclair Corp, so I'm guessing they're going to just keep the dino logo and related stuff.

Gonna have to agree to disagree, I guess. There's nothing inherently wrong or immoral about requesting, or offering, money for sex. What *is* wrong is agreeing to a trade and then not delivering the agreed about items or services after being paid, or not paying after services or items have been delivered. I know how problematic saying "no" can be for some women in some places, but that's the proper way to respond to an offer one doesn't wish to entertain. Short of attempting a scam themselves, no one deserves to be scammed, regardless of which side of the transaction they're on.
