I wouldn’t go if I was going to arrive after 7:00 pm. The major exception would be if I was looking to pull some OTC action—then I think 7:00 pm would be about the perfect time to get there to catch the end of dayshifters.

Good clarification Will. I don’t think they could become a true “Follies South” in the sense of providing a similar high-mileage floor experience—that’s something that will always be unique to Follies. What I mean is they could basically take their nighttime model and apply it to dayshift as well. If you’re familiar with how they operate at night you’ll know what I mean.

Get there as soon as you can, but don’t expect to receive the Dayshift Experience past 8 pm. If I were you and getting in at that time I wouldn’t bother with Follies. Just take your time and go to Tattletales around 8:30-9:00 pm instead.

To each their own. When I read a review of Follies the last thing I want to read is the umpteenth million description of how someone parked across the street to avoid valet, how many stages there are inside, or that they got a frisky pat down upon entering. I’d much rather read a story of what the person experienced, even if it doesn’t name names.

My question assumes the performance is a given. Assume you’ve already had both and know what you’re going to get

When I hit my 40’s it was an eye-opener to me at how women would throw themselves at men 20+ years older than they were. Civilians, strippers, it didn’t matter. I think it’s a combo of mature confidence and life-success that attracts them.

Twice I’ve had a girl do VIP with me for just the cost of the room. They were longtime favs and I was several years younger though.

I’m there regularly and haven’t heard anything like that from any of the dancers or staff.

Sklansky definitely gets too wonky at times. When he starts getting too crazy with the equations I start skipping it and just looking for the thought process behind it. Love his stuff though

No Limit Hold Em: Theory and Practice by Sklansky and Miller is one of the best poker books I’ve ever read. I used to study it religiously back when I was playing regularly.

Do you mostly play tournaments and sit-n-go’s? More online than live? I don’t play as much I used to but over my lifetime I’m way up playing live in casinos but way down playing online.
