Opportunities Wasted
I decided to visit this club in the afternoon after receiving an invitation from a friend. Tattletales has long been the best night-time club in Atlanta for those who want a combo of attractive dancers and quality VIP treatment. But as I’ve detailed in past reviews, the dayshift here has always been a complete waste of time. But on this particular day I decided to give it a shot.
The club itself is not fancy. Safe parking lot, no parking or cover charge during the day. You walk inside and there is seating to the right and a medium-sized stage in the middle of club. The bar is straight ahead, and there’s a smaller dance area to the left. The best thing about this club is the VIP layout. Multiple smaller rooms surrounding the club with a bigger one with couches toward the back near the dancer dressing room. But now they have luxury-type VIP rooms behind the DJ booth. You could call them suites. Multiple couches, looks like they’re designed for small parties of 3-6 people. I didn’t ask about the price but I’m sure it’s too high. That’s the weakness of this club—greedy management that doesn’t realize the potential golden Goose they’re sitting on. The regular VIP rooms are $100 for 30 minutes during dayshift—and there’s no one even there in dayshift. The dancers were average at best and they’re weren’t many of them. If management wanted to they could turn this place into a daytime competitor with Follies. But not if they’re charging $100 for 30 minute VIP rooms and employing mediocre dancers.
If they were smart they’d get some of their night shift girls to fill in days or go recruit some other dayshift hotties and then get their VIP pricing in range with Follies. They have the infrastructure and means to do it, they’re just so poorly run they’ll never figure it out.
