i don't any more -- but in my younger days when the 10's ignored me because I was young and fat -- I would accept dances from the ugly ones just to show that I was spending money. It always worked. The better ones noticed.

Maybe I was joking a little, but in the 2000 Finals when the Pacers played the Lakers, for the first 5 minutes of each game i thought Smits was better.
Unfortunately, NBA games are longer than 5 minutes. Lol

I grew up a Pacers fan. I still am.
I thought Rik Smits could have been the best center in the game if he could have stayed healthy. He had too many foot problems so he could only play about 1/3 of the game. But I thought he was better than Shaq when was healthy.

"Where's the love for the sky hook?"
This week ESPN replayed the 1966 NCAA championship game between Texas Western and Kentucky. That was pretty cool seeing a game from 50 years ago. They actually used the sky hook a few time.
I don't think I've seen the sky hook since Kareem, and later Rik Smits, were so effective with it.

One of my best friends never got married until his late 40's. Up until then, he played golf almost every night after work from spring to fall. Went to Myrtle Beach every April.
Then he got married about 10 years ago. Hasn't played golf in 2 years. Has lived in 4 houses in those 10 years. Doing non-stop home projects to make the wife happy. And he's not a handy guy. He used to hire that stuff done
You could not force marriage upon me.

One of my first real favorites was the rudest bitch I've ever seen. Nice to me, but I was ashamed of the way she treated waitresses and food servers in and out of the club. She clearly thought she was better than other people.

My 2 cents on the white vs black experience
I've gotten pulled over by the cops a couple of times leaving clubs at closing. One time on suspicion of DUI. I didn't argue with the cop and took the breathalyzer test. Blew 0.0 and he apologized and let me go. Another time a cop said my car and out of state plate matched the description of a car used in a recent armed robbery in the area. I was polite and he ran my plates and asked a few questions and sent me off.
As a white a guy, I felt inconvenienced, but the police were merely doing their due diligence.
If the same things had happened to a young black guy, it's sometimes perceived differently.

Seriously, I'm not expert but I've seen some of these gals on TV talk shows, and I realize those shows are going for the extreme - but $4 to $10 k per month were the figures talked about.
$50 seed money for dinner is not going to interest the better ones
