I know it has been a long time since I have been in here and participated in discussion but I just read your posts as to the last convention. I am sorry I missed out! I hope to be in a position to join in with you guys around that time - just curious - how much did you guys spend on avg? Send me an email if you don't want to divulge in here (or if you just want to send an idea of what I should bring and not tell what you spent).
Glad to hear you guys are going strong and that this last get together was even larger and more successful that previous ones I remember reading about!

I like the soft undertones of Angel and Pink by Victoria's Secret on a woman.
As for myself, I have never had so many compliments as I do when I wear Acqua Di Gio by Armani. I even had a dancer who was dancing for a guy behind me lean over my shoulder and whisper that she adored my scent while she was still dancing for the guy behind me. It is a favorite of mine and I have always worn it.

To add to that - I also went one night scruffy and non-shaven with khakis and a button down shirt... next night I was in almost the same attire but with a clean shave and that too has an effect in my experience.
Always be as cleancut as you would if you were trying to impress... and make sure you smell good.

I had one girl who gave me her number without prompt and said that she wished she wasn't working the whole night so that we could go somewhere and finish things off right; she even checked into leaving the club early to no avail.
And the wetness factor that was more than evident as well as the shaking in her quadracepts during certain activities was an indicator :)

I really wish I could be there. I am working that night and there is no way I can take that time off - especially when I have already taken so many other days off this year. Oh well - perhaps another time.
I am not too far from any of the Atlanta clubs and would like to have some pointers tossed my way if anyone would care to do so. Hope you guys have fun!

Thanks - and I have to agree about Oasis as it is my favorite club and no matter what kind of outting I have I always end up going there before heading home.
Flashers - now I was very disappointed with it as there were not that many attractive dancers and unless you have some serious money it doesn't seem like it is worth it there. I was quoted a great deal of money for the VIP - though I was absolutely told there would be no chance in leaving dissatisfied... I wasn't interested in spending that kind of money. I even told one of the dancers that if that was the inclination or intent - one could hire an escort for less.

Put a mint in your mouth and out of courtesy offer her one. If she thinks it is about her then oh well - you can fall back on the fact that you were being courteous. You can also just offer to buy her a drink - alcohol kills bacteria ;)
Or you can tell her that you'd like her to turn around and dance facing away so you can look at her ass instead of smelling her ass... that one is a bit harsher.

I like them but I guess I am wierd in that I don't mind a little air in the dance. I don't like the girls who grind so hard or push their pelvis into my chest or stomach or crotch. It just doesn't do it for me... I know some guys love it but it just makes me laugh or get annoyed.
I like to see good stage shows and see what happens from there... depends on my mood I guess. I may be in the minority, but I don't actually go to get my rocks off when I go to a club.

I think I get one every time that I go. Now, I don't look at it as a bad thing - just educational. Of course I am not going to flat out get a dance from someone I haven't watched dancing for someone else, unless they have done rather well on stage. I always tip on stage so I get to see what they have to offer. I am not one to get many lap dances to begin with when I first go into a club. But, I will watch and see what people have to offer.
I tend to agree with the bad dances as being mechanical or uninterested. But to be fair, there are some guys who are there to just stare at body parts and objectify the girls. I like to see what a woman is 'thinking' when she is dancing by watching where she is looking and how she enjoys her own body. If she is not into it - it won't be a good dance for me irregardless of contact level. If a girl is getting into it and being sensual and sexual - then it will be a wonderful dance.
It is a huge deterrent for me though on the girls who don't get naked before a song or aren't interested in finishing out a song properly. It will be an immediate dismissal for any future dances from me. Also, girls with weaves... dear GOD get it done right or don't bother getting your head near me....

I guess I am a bit more adventurous in that regards. I do try to go to the new clubs, or clubs that haven't been frequented much. I was kind of thinking about tossing the idea out so that even more than one person in the area may go with one of the other reviewers to rate clubs all over again...
In the Atlanta area it is hit or miss with me and my favorite clubs. I don't go in enough to have my presence considered to be regular, but I go enough to want the same treatment - with some improvements if they do remember me.
If anyone would like to tag team any clubs - let me know and I would certainly entertain that idea. For the best interests of the board ;)

I actually don't pay too much attention to the numeric rating. I much rather like looking at the content that is below the rating as to why the person rated the location a particular way. If the person isn't too ellaborating on why their rating applies, I typically ignore the rating. But, if the rating is low or odd and the description reflects well then I look at the posting whole and am better to make a decision.
I also like to keep track of other clubs that someone has gone to when looking at a rating. For instance if there is someone who actively participates in the discussion board and they have rated a club a certain way, then I am more likely going to pay closer attention to that rating. That way I am not allowing someone who has less knowledge about clubs, or actively interested in the lifestyle, bias a clubs rating.

I couldn't agree more with the consensus here. I think that the majority of the people are like Book Guy described... and I have to admit that I used to be like that. On the flip side, I am finding myself more irritated by the dancers who automatically put me into that category and try to upsale themselves far more than they deserve. I sometimes attend clubs just to see what is around without partaking too much to do a bit of recon on the club. Sometimes it works out wonderfully and I return with plenty to go around... and other times I wonder if I should return at all or get out of the scene all together.
What I am finding is that the more mainstream days I attend, the less likely I am to have a good time. It is pointless to attend a club on a Friday or Saturday night as all of the skeezers are there.
Attire is indicative of interest in the place. You see everything from the baseball caps and jeans to the non shaven, still wearing work clothing or sporting attire. And sadly they seem to get the initial attention because they are loud and boisterous. Sad thing is that sometimes you can watch a dancer who has gone into the lions den to show her wares and her facial expressions become all too telling of 'what the hell did I do this for' when the person starts acting like this is a petting zoo.
I personally wear decent clothing any time I am going out. I try to make sure that I have a fresh shave and that my clothing matches and that I don't look like a bum. I think I spent more on my shoes than the average person in the club spent on their wardrobe - but I digress.
I think that things are turning towards the mainstream and the dancers are allowing it. Not sure where it is taking us but I am up for the ride for at least one more year I guess.

I have to agree with FONDL here. Attitude is the premiere reason that anyone would make me want to come back to a club. Even if the club isn't going all that great - if someoene has taken the time to come and talk me up and make me feel welcome then I would return.
For example... I just recently went to a club in which there had been no real good reviews. I heard some people say that it had been improved upon and that it was a good club now... so I tried it. Now, I wasn't impressed with the amount of women and the overall looks present - but, the attitude of just one of the dancers was enough to make me want to return. I didn't check out much of the mileage as I was just checking things out, but I am sure that it could be a good place to hang out and have a good time.
With any business that deals with the public - there has to be some positive attitude. Without it, why would the public pick your place or service over someone else's? This doesn't really apply to any areas where there is only one club in the area since they obviously have the market covered.

I only went to the one on my way back, and wasn't much inclined to go check out the others. Perhaps I was just expecting too much - but interaction between customers and dancers isn't too much to ask in my opinion.
Anyway - if there are any clubs that you haven't been to that you would like to see somene elses take on it - let me know. I would be glad to check it out if I am able.

I am going to try to start going at least 2 times a month. It is hard with my schedule. I have decided to go back to school - dear God after 17 years of first setting foot in a college - so that should be an interesting change. I hope I will still have some time.
Thanks for the headsup on when you are going to PP. I am off one of those days and may make the journey depending on money situation.
Same with letting me know about Fridays at the Goldrush - I will make it a point to get out there the next friday I am off.
I think I will join in on what seems to be the consensus here and stick to only reviewing if something out of the ordinary occurs at the club - or if I haven't been there in a while. Thanks for the posts folks!
