    Feel like an idiot
Work like hell, do your homework on TUSCL, have plenty of cash available to allow a wonderful experience, and struggle mightily to give equal weight to the constant babble from both your big brain and your little brain!

    Indianapolis - Sun+Mon Night - Advice?
Great advice guys. I will be staying Sun and Mon night 10 mi east of Indy. Looking forward to visiting a highly rated club for the first time. Doug, I may drive to Hip Hugger (Mon) even if BBF is awesome. Variety is the spice of life.

    OTC???
OH, and to answer the question, I think about 1/3 of the girls will meet a guy OTC for a variety of reasons. Most of the others have husbands or boyfriends, and maybe a shred of decency.

    OTC???
Let me preface my response by saying I think I'm as horny as the reat of you guys. If my little head could actually perform as often as he claims he wants to, I would be a happy guy. So, OTC for sex, right? Wait a second! At some point in my strip club experience, probably over a succession of Jack Daniels on the rocks, wasting my time at Bandaids (a hole in the wall club) in Phoenix, I came to the conclusion I was in the clubs because I wanted intimacy, and sex was the tip of the intimacy iceberg. So I started treating my favorites as friends first. That led to many OTC experiences, very few of which ended up with sex, but which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dinners, shopping, casinos, the zoo - you name it - even a trip to a "Price is Right" audition. Lots of flirting, ass grabbing, kissing, etc. One night, I follow a favorite to a new club she is trying out. Instead of spending time with her, I get a string of dances from another girl, a slim blonde, half my age, and we hit it off real nice, talking and laughing. She is sitting on my lap and she says, "You wanna have some fun outside the club?" I hesitate about 2 seconds, and say, "Yes, I would love to have some fun!" Three months later she moves in. That was over 2 years ago. To this day, I would not recommend hanging out in strip clubs as a formula for finding someone to love. But you can have a lot of fun failing! Does any of this make sense?

What's your top 5 favorite clubs of all time?
Only 5? Tough to narrow down! Mons Venus (Tampa) - like an orgy Playhouse (Romulus, MI)- small, intimate, good food, high mileage Hiliter (Phoenix, AZ) - current favorite, all around quality and $10 dances Expose (Austin TX) - friendly, social, and wilder later Baby Dolls (Dallas)- I need an excuse to go to Dallas again! Special Mention: Cheetahs in Hallindale, FL. In 2 nights of debauchery, just scratched the surface.

Faves Who Change Their Look vs. Faves Who Never Change
Most of my faves over the years have rarely changed their looks. I guess I am attracted to confident, mature women (regardless of physical age), and I think they tend to experiment less with their look. The most dramatic changes I have seen are the occasional boob job. WHile I prefer natural girls, I must admit that the boob job is an excellent fix sagging breasts. I'm not sure why the young, small and firm-tittied girls get boob jobs. Ok, most of my friends prefer gargantuan hooters. The other frequent change is hair color. Evidently blondes have more fun. Again, my preferences have wandered over the years. I have had killer sessions with blondes, brunnettes, redheads, and raven haired beauties. One theory of mine is that girls who change looks frequently are basically unstable. Since about half of all strippers are unstable, that is no surprise. However, if looks includes the outfit, then more girls could stand to mix it up. Our knuckleheaded fantasies need new material from time to time. The schoolgirl look is popular, and I like it. Don't know why, and I don't care to know.

Is it a new trend for dancers to tell you their real names?
I don't know if it is a trend, but just last week I met a new dancer and she immediately told me her real name and explained to me how confusing and stupid it is for her. She claimed some clubs make her have 2 phony names, so if another girl with the same name is already there, she can switch to her 2nd name. "Hi, my name is Crystal, uhhh Tiffany, uhhh Susan." My ATF has the stage name of "Fantasy". (Well, she likes it.) Anyway, she uses it so much, occasionally we will be OTC in a nice social situation, meet someone new, and she will say "Hi, my name's Fantasy". Sometimes she catches herself in mid sentence, and she'll garble it up and say it again with her real name. I like watching the expression on the other person's face.

Paying more than the advertised/posted Lap Dance fee
Rarely pay more than the standard fare. Occasionally throw in an extra $5 or $10 if the girls spends a while talking with me or I get a string of particularly nice dances. Also, at higher priced ($25, $30, $35) clubs, I will try to negotiate a bulk rate. Standard negotiating strategy applies - be prepared to walk away. However, that is my big head talking; occasionally the little brain takes over, and a negotiation from his standpoint is not "how much money", but "how much contact"; he could care less if I drain my bank account. One exception, one club in Phoenix used to have $6 dances in the daytime, $8 at night. I always rounded up for a string of dances, which earned me a lot of half naked friends. Unfortunately, my ATF moved to a different club, and I dutifully followed. Now, in my regular club in Phoenix, I tip $2 to the guy who shows me to a table. He probably is tipped by 25% of the guys. In all my time there I have never had a bouncer interfere. I theorize there is a tip/no hassle connection. In that same club, there is a bathroom attendant starting mid-afternoon. Again, it looks like 25% of the guys tip him $1. I tip him on my first visit and grab a couple of breath mints. If the beer is flowing through me, I usually don't tip on the next visit 15 min later, or the next 15 min later, etc.

    TUSCL Nicknames
Just a stupid reorganization of my real name. Reverse the names and obscure the last name. Only later did I realize some people might think I'm both Hairy and illiterate. Later, I had a student from Fordham Univ in the Bronx give me a hip hop name, Dirty Harry. Obvious derivation, and I like it better. Always hoping some girl will "make my day" and/or want to see my Magnum.

menage a trois? Yes or no?
Yes, 3 times I can remember 1) Mons Venus, 2 black girls, seemed to be friends cruising the club together. One dance, typical mileage for Mons, which is pretty good. 2) Baby Dolls (Dallas) - 2 white girls in VIP. Definitely friends, and they liked to do a tag team thing. Mileage good but super expensive up there! 3) Club in Austin TX now listed as O Cabaret - a hit or miss place. On this night, started with Diamond, a slim black girl with piercings and a mischievous smile. Later joined by her friend, Sunshine, a somewhat overweight black girl, who was into a bunch of dirty moves. They made a nice combo, and stuck with me for about 2 hours, as I was the only whale in the club that night. Went back to this club a year later, and Diamond was there, recognized me, and showed me a good time. Alas, ain't no Sunshine, she was gone... ;-)

Kicked Out of a Strip Club
DougS, the reason you have not see me before is I didn't think much of the discussion feature for individual clubs, and I just discovered this. There is a thread about "why the change in the discussion feature". I thought there was too much uninteresting banter, and a lot of the writing was semi literate, or so my foggy memory tells me. As for my screen name, it's always been harrydave. A poor rearrangement of my real name, doing nothing to describe my strip club persona. My screen name should be squareontheoutsidemiddleagedwhiteguywholovestohangwithnakedgirlsandgethisdickrubbed. Oh, I too have never been kicked out of a club, except when they turn up the lights at closing time and I look around and say, "Jeez, this place is a shithole."

Casualguy, we need to start a new thread about greedy strippers that confuse us with their requests. I remember the really attractive Jamaican girl that was on track to be a regular of mine; took her to dinner a few times; then she mentioned the beautiful Tiffany necklace she had her eye on. I though it was just casual conversation. A week later I had not produced, and my favored staus evaporated! Looking back, I am happy about that. The necklace was just the beginning of a long and difficult road, I'm sure.

What Types of Clubs Do You Prefer?
Yeah, let's get the jack shacks right off the map. In Phoenix we have One-on-One clubs that fit that category. They keep changing names, rarely get decent reviews in TUSCL, and the format is lame. There is not a hell of a difference between a naked woman standing 6 ft away and a big screen high def tv showing porno. Very impersonal. Clubs are for man-woman physical contact, and all the crazy mental shit that leads up to it and flows around it. And the thrill of slowly escalating the "violence" and breaking the rules. No jack shit.

Do Club Owners Monitor (and learn) from TUSCL?
Bones, good points. I guess when I have experienced extras I have left my reviews kind of sketchy, figuring I don't want to get anyone in trouble. But the owners know this shit is going down, so who am I kidding? Chandler and Yoda, you struck a chord. There is some combination of arrogance and stupidity. You rearely here stories like "management tried this rule, and it didn't work, so they got rid of it, convened a meeting of the strippers and waitresses, asked for their input, and came up with a new rule that was acceptable to all"! LOL! What have I been smoking. DandyDan, I always thought it was all about alcohol sales in the topless clubs. I figured that what the main source of revenue. So it is doubly confusing when a club has a liquor license and half naked women, and still can't get guys to show up or stay!

    LA Strip Clubs
Look for the clubs out by City of Industry, which is east of downtown LA. There are a couple of clubs there (Hawaii Theatre, and Spearmint Rhino) that are in the TUSCL top 40 right now. I have been to Spearmint Rhino. My experience is similar to more recent reviews. High quality girls, not a lot of tipping and tableside dancing. Instead, the girls want to take you back to VIP (booths at Spearmint) where the basic deal is 3 dances for $120, and the contact is generally very high. I went for 6 dances and was completely satisfied if somewhat poorer. I have limited experience with clubs in Van Nuys, north of downttown toward the San Fernando valley (the porn center of America). The club I went to most often way back (Classy Lady) has gone downhill. There is a SPearmint Rhino in that area also, but reported mileage is low. I think you should stay away from clubs in the LAX (airport) area. Value for $$ is low.

What Types of Clubs Do You Prefer?
Clubber, very funny! Bones, agree with the Bordello Front classification (although I was thinking of those places as a variation on the hellhole). The Mexican border town clubs mostly fit that bill, as do some of the clubs south of Montreal in Quebec, as do a few clubs here and there in the US. Harry O's in CT, Vics Place in NJ, Henry VIII South in MI, to name a few. Just reminded me I should start a thread on Worst Home Handyman Job in a Club. My preferences are for strip clubs first (moderation in all things?), hellholes and tittie bars next, and gentlemans clubs last. As far as I'm concerned, gentlemans clubs are for wimps and fools (as defined by the famous quotation "A fool and his money are soom parted"). Oops, guess that make me a fool in many clubs.

Uh, nope, never been kicked out. Have seen a few guys get dragged out. All of them were drunk and made unwelcome advances (groping) on the girls. In Phoenix, when that happens, the club HAS TO call the cops. In the time between the call and the cops arrival, the customer, who is now outside surrounded by bouncers, will attempt to assualt the bouncers with his face and nuts. This usually results in self inflicted injury and a prone position on the sidewalk. The girls hanging around outside smoking seem particularly amused.

Family Research Council has an extensive political agenda. And the model legislation this is all based on comes from American Family Association Center for Law and Policy. I swear, these people are more obsessed with sex than most of us.

There is actually a national conservative values group behind many of these initiatives across the country. Two years ago, Phoenix passed a measure that was a watered down version...and there was a six month period in which the police actually tried to enforce it, but since then things are back to mostly normal. The argument about reducing prostitution and drug related crime is pure bullshit. First, it's just a cover for a conservative religious agenda. Second, it is based on an association between strip clubs and crime rates that confuses cause and effect. As we all know, clubs are generally not permitted in any residential areas, and usually are in crappy parts of town. Oddly, these places also have higher crime rates. In Scottsdale, AZ, the City Council passed a restrictive club measure a year ago, and the club owners fought back, got the signatures, and the measure was rescinded by referendum. There is hope.

Two For One Dances - 2fer1, 2fers, 2for1, et al
Ok, so where exactly do they have 2-fers as a rule? Phoenix, Tucson - Never, most topless clubs $10, nude clubs $20 per regular lap dance at your table - no need for 2-fers with those prices Austin TX - generally no, most moderate contact dances are $20, some clubs have a half price night Sun or Mon Dallas - nope, great mileage at $20 a crack (no pun intended) Detroit - never ran into 2-fers there, great mileage for $20-$25 per song Columbus OH - Yes, 2-fers seem to be standard fare, with lurking bouncer thrown in for free Akron OH - nope, but variety of pricing schemes and mileage Suburban NY and CT - nope, lots of $20 dances of highly variable mileage NYC - nope, but a pathetic set of club rules thanks to Rudy Giuliani (remember that next election day guys, he ruined the clubs in NY; we now know why, he had prostate problems) Tampa - nope, great mileage for $20-$30 Baltimore (the Block) - nope, but lots of other stupid rules like wierdly priced girly drinks Nogales, Mexico - no way, Jose! VIP dances for 2 songs for 23 gringo dollars, ultra high mileage with or without language barrier

Rank the 5 senses for enjoying a lapdance.
First sight - I see her across the room,,ah, the body type I like, slim, smallish natural breasts, and eye contact! Second, sound - she says something other than "ya wanna dance?" and her voice does not break my glass of Jack Daniels Third, touch - she uses her hands to give me little caresses; hands are intimate, the knees and butt are blunt instruments in comparison Fourth, smell - now she's close enough, her true odor mixed with light perfume make my mouth water (or, makes me wonder when she last showered,...ugh!) Fifth, taste - her lips brushing against mine, her toungue like peppermint (or Marlboros and Red Bull, yummm) Well, maybe not taste all the time, but the other stuff, for sure.

Two For One Dances - 2fer1, 2fers, 2for1, et al
It's Monday morning and I'm grumpy. I think the clubs that have 2 fer 1 dance specials have regular prices that are too high. In Phoenix (home base), the standard topless club rate is $10 (not VIP, just regular), and the dance activity is high. In Colubus OH (you know I just love the clubs there, Bones), the dance prices are high, and the activity is low....until that 2 fer 1 thing, then several guys scramble to take advantage. Standard economic theory says there is an optimum price that maximizes income. I think the 2 fer 1 is a sign of sub-optimal (too high or too low) pricing...and I can thank my PhD economist brother for cluttering my head with this crap! Happy Monday everyone.
