  In my experience they are, but obviously they're going to run the gamut. I mean, the only one's I've fucked have been the freaky ones anyway, so not exactly a cross-section. Plenty of them are lesbians though, so at least from the male perspective I'd guess they're not too fun in bed. O.

  I think there is a double-edged sword here. On the one side, strippers are less inhibited, and are more likely to be wild in bed. So there is the possibility of doing things you have never done before. On the other side, strippers tend to have relationship issues, which can translate into self absorption and greed. So the long term sex outlook is for a lack of two-way communication and reciprocity. Of course, I've got an assumption going here - that one is interested in both emotional and physical intimacy, to make the sex all that more fulfilling. If the physical thing is all that counts, the relationship challenges don't matter, and we are back to the joys of wild sex. So, intellectualism aside...the first time I ever got a blow job to completion (I wasted the first half of my life) was from a stripper, in my car, while I was driving to Vegas on a State highway, going 80 mph. I managed to stay on the road, just barely. That was mighty fine!

  If they are good in bed it is because they are good in bed. it really has nothing to do with them being a stripper. That fact may be the reason that WE are turned on but that's about it.

  Are strippers good in bed? Well the mileage is definitely high in bed. However it may depend on luck on how good they are. One girl just lied there. Another was like a wild animal. Different positions, tried to be quiet but was still disturbing the neighbors. Didn't let her get on top too much after she got so wild she was able to pull the condom right off and keep going without noticing. When a girl starts talking about her powerful muscles in her vagina, she might not be normal. I don't think she wanted to be.

  Generalizations abound here. I have to agree, that if they are good in bed, it's because they are good in bed. Some are good, others just okay, and some horrible. The best I ever had was from a regular gal with a regular job. Fairly attractive (maybe a 7) but she would do anything and everything. Total oral fetish, and NEVER spilled a drop!

  I once read that how a girl laughs is an indication of how she will be in bed. If she laughs without reservation, it's likely her in-bed performance will be similar. But if her laughter is restrained, so too will be her performance. I don't know how true this is but my ATF is pretty unrestrained when it comes to laughter, which makes for some pleasant dreams.

Judging from my experience and that of those I know who are married, I'd say wives performances range from a 1 all the way up to a 10. Why should strippers be any different?

  The intriguing part of this question to me that is not being asked is "are strippers more horny than average women?" When I ask them this question the answer I usually receive is yes, if a stripper at work is in a good mood and not having a bad day, feeling well, and having a good time with clients she likes, she can get very horny by doing her job, which they tell me in turn keeps her in the mood outside the club and would probably make them better than average in bed.

  Lol, I suddenly remember a stripper from many years ago, talking about what she did to get back on her cheating husband before their divorce.   I can only base it on MY past experiences, but I have to vote HELL yes! Are they better than average non-stripper women? I'd also vote "yes" to that, too. Here's why it is true for me. I am a VERY visually oriented guy. It turns me on to see a pretty girl that really knows how to move in a way that she knows is sexually attractive. I know that most, if not all strippers practice moving in front of the mirror so they know what looks hot. A BJ is nice, but it is SO much better when a girl is giving you a BJ while trying to look hot doing it, rather than just sucking and licking. Does that make sense? Same way with sex... you can have a girl on top pounding away, or you can have a girl that is moving sensuously and doing things for the visual effect - even if she's playing it up, it's much better. Perhaps its more than the fact that strippers know how to act hot - maybe it's the fact that they tend to be less inhibited. Either way, I'd chose dancer over "regular" woman. I know there are "regular" women that will "perform" during sexual activity, too, but I've found that dancers are more in tune with the performance aspect that caters to my visual fetishes.

  Right on, Doug. Well said. I don't see why it's so farfetched to find that a lot of what makes a stripper good at turning guys on and lap dancing also makes her good in bed. The two talents aren't identical (hehe), but there's more overlap than with any other calling I can think of. As for my original question - are they good enough to warrant our obsession with wanting to fuck them? Of course not! Our obsession is wildly unrealistic, based upon a fantasy character who only exists in a strip club. What you get outside that setting is always different, although she may bring along the same performance instincts. And then, some guys only seem to be obsessed with the *idea* of banging a stripper, which I would think can't help matters when the deed is done. In fact, I have to wonder how much unreal expectations lead to an overreaction that strippers are nothing special.

  As I was doing my morning surfing, on one of my fav sites ([view link]) they rank the 50 hottest female recording artists. While browsing the list, complete with pics and some vids, one vid of Alicia Keys triggered a thought in my mind which I thought I should add to my earlier incoherent rambling. The issue to me would be weather the actual woman excites the guy or if he just wants to be with her because she is a stripper?   Doug: Not to comment specifically on your ATF, but I've never thought girls who can look sexy were guaranteed to be great lays. It's just one indicator, and there's plenty more to it. To really know, there's no substitute for actually getting her in the sack.

  If a dancer is dancing for the right reasons (not to pay for drugs, etc.) then she will develop a comfort with her sexuality and herself. Women who know they are sexy and who can pull it all off without feeling self-conscious and closed are hot in bed (and I'm not lesbian-just know from myself). I would vote that strippers are more likely to be good in bed than the non-stripper just because of that.
