Faves Who Change Their Look vs. Faves Who Never Change

My ATF changes her hair style and color regularly. I've seen it short, medium length, and long. I've seen her with brown hair, red hair, blonde hair. Last time I saw her it was very short, black, and kinda spiked - very cute. The only look I don't especially care for on her is when she gives her natural brown hair a red tint, which she used to do a lot. For some reason it makes her look Hispanic. She used to joke about it when she worked at a restaurant where all the kitchen help was Hispanic - they'd do extra favors for her because they thought she was one of them (she can speak some Spanish because her first real BF was Hispanic.)

I've also seen her body change a lot - when we first met she was about 145 lbs and out of shape, she's now about 125 and very fit. I like 125 better. She also had some multiple ear and a tongue piercing which she mostly ditched as she got older.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever had a favorite who changed their general look. Maybe they would cut their hair, but no one ever had an extreme hairstyle change. I did have a favorite who went from glasses to contacts, which I thought was a great improvement on her, although with glasses, it all depends on the frames, and hers were bad, at least on her.

One more point before I go, I would think its not in their best interest to change their look so much. If a dancer has regulars, they are probably her regular because she has a certain look they like. One thing my current favorite discussed with me once was whether she should dye her hair black. I told her she would look awful if she was anything but blonde.

I have to agree with DandyDan's statement 100%. It's in their best interest not to drastically change their look.

Two of my favs have changed their look. The first being my prev-prev-ATF, Brandy, who lost quite a bit of weight and cut her hair short. She was never big; she just had a few extra pounds that still looked great on her, but YOWZA the skinnier version was MUCH sexier. Before we became a regular thing, I had gone into HH looking to spend time with Brandy after a particularly hot dance session with her - it'd been several months since I'd last seen her. I didn't see her in the club, so as I was looking of potential playmates, I spotted a short haired girl that looked extremely sexy way across the room. She snuck up behind me and ran her fingernails down my back, purring "hey Sexy, ready to play?". I turned around and there was Brandy. With the "thing" I have for long, silky hair (which she previously had), I typically don't go for short haired girls, but she was smokin' hot, and her new 'do actually turned me on for some reason.

The other fav changing her looks was Miss ATF (as in current). When I first met ATF, a few years before she became ATF, she had very long hair, down to about mid-back length. Close to perfect. You know, let me just say that ALL of my favs know what first attracted me to them in the first place (usually the long hair, right?). So I was caught totally off-guard by my ATF a few hookups ago, when she pulled up next to me in the parking lot, with a stocking cap on her head. She looked cute in it, but my heart sank when I didn't see any flowing locks sticking out of the hat. She knew what I was thinking and before we said anything to each other, she said "I knew you wouldn't like it if I got my hair cut, and I didn't want to tell you over the phone". So I say, "okay... take your hat off and let me see how short it is". She reluctantly, and slowly pulled her hat off. It was actually cute how she acted like a little school girl that knew she was in trouble (err... not THAT kind of trouble). As it turned out, her hair was much shorter than I prefer - about down to her jaw line. But she is pretty enough to pull off that look and she was still looking hot to me; very hot, in fact. She's promised to let her hair grow long this time, and when we were together last, it was down to almost to her shoulders.

Except for starting to work out regularly, my fave didn't change her look while she was a dancer, she changed it (frequently) after she quit dancing.

Bear in mind that they have a life outside the strip club (or so I hear), so not every choice they make is driven by what's in their best interest as strippers. A girl may get tired of seeing the same look in the mirror every day and feel like a change even though she knows it may not please some of her regular customers.

Most of my faves over the years have rarely changed their looks. I guess I am attracted to confident, mature women (regardless of physical age), and I think they tend to experiment less with their look.

The most dramatic changes I have seen are the occasional boob job. WHile I prefer natural girls, I must admit that the boob job is an excellent fix sagging breasts. I'm not sure why the young, small and firm-tittied girls get boob jobs. Ok, most of my friends prefer gargantuan hooters.

The other frequent change is hair color. Evidently blondes have more fun. Again, my preferences have wandered over the years. I have had killer sessions with blondes, brunnettes, redheads, and raven haired beauties.

One theory of mine is that girls who change looks frequently are basically unstable. Since about half of all strippers are unstable, that is no surprise. However, if looks includes the outfit, then more girls could stand to mix it up. Our knuckleheaded fantasies need new material from time to time. The schoolgirl look is popular, and I like it. Don't know why, and I don't care to know.

I see two sides to the question of confidence. It takes a some confidence and self-awareness for a girl to know what kind of change will work for her and to pull it off. They realize that it's just a superficial change, and part of the fun of being a girl. The ones who lack confidence and hope that a new look will make their life better are usually the girls who are constantly trying styles that aren't quite right for them.

Chandler, there's another category - those who just don't give a shit. My ATF is in that category. It's a big part of her appeal.

FONDL, wouldn't that be a sign of confidence? She does what she wants and doesn't care whether other people approve? Unless you're saying she just doesn't give a shit how she looks, which I'm not so sure I'd find appealing. You gotta care on some level.
