For the most part, the dancers who I enjoyed the most and who I would return to the club to see, were the ones who approached me first.

Probably less than a dozen. I don't live in an area with many and when I traveled I would prefer to check out the escorts in the area.

There is one place where I would like to see them more covered. At least in the beginning. During private dances it is a turn on to watch a beautiful young lady slowly remove her clothes. Maybe with a little help.

Have you ever tried to stick a silver dollar into a stripper's G-string?
Three hours each way to see a particular dancer. When she moved on, my gas bills decreased along with my clubbing expenses.

No matter what kind of music is being played for the girls on stage, I think a different song should be playing in the private dance areas: slow and sensual.

layin low but staying high
An ideologically pure liberal favors government regulations on the economy, but not on personal behavior. An ideologically pure conservative has the opposite beliefs, favoring government regulations on personal behavior (think sex education, birth control, abortion restrictions) and little if any regulations on economic activities.
An ideologically pure libertarian would favor little if any government regulation an either economic activities or personal behavior.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view) there are few if any ideological liberals, conservatives, or libertarians. Any even if there were ideologically pure liberals who might have an interest in overturning puritanical strip club laws and regulations put in place by previous administrations, there usually is not the political will to do so. "Reforming" strip club laws to make them more lenient does not rank high on a list of those things the public cares about.
The forces of repression supporting the kinds of laws that the readers of TUSCL don't like, are far more vocal than the voices that would allow for those of us who would prefer an anything goes atmosphere.

Use to spend quite a bit of time in Jacksonville and found that getting a massage was better than going to a club.

The nine. No contest, as I'm really picky as to what the girl looks like.

My ATF was Jade who danced during the day shift at the Million Dollare Fantasy Ranch in Warrensburg, MO. At the time a great club. And she was great. A beautiful, sexy blonde that all the men in the club wanted to be with, but she was with me. I would spend hours with her and would have loved to have done more than just get dances.

A club where the VIP room and the champagne rooms have music piped in that is different from that being played for the stage dancers. In the private areas the music needs to be slower and more sensual than what the pole dances are using.

Does it strike anyone as strange that in these days of lower budgets, local and state governments waste resources passing and enforcing silly laws?

Some strippers are sexually attractive with short hair. A nice body and an face are more important that the length of hair.

Missouri does have some good strip clubs. At least they did when I was a frequent visitor to the Fantasy Ranch in Warrensburg.
I'm missing something. Why is a federal grand jury investigating the failure of a bill?

I'm always annoyed by clubs like this. If I want to tip for the stage dance, I approach the girl while she is on stage. Sometimes it is more than a dollar. Some girls should be discouraged from entering this line of work due to their bodies not being in the best of shape. The dollar for all policy doesn't let me do the discouraging by witholding a tip without be awkward about it.

At the bar. I'm always concerned that if I sit at a table a less than attractive dancer will see an empty chair and take it as an invitation. I feel I have more control at the bar.

I like breasts that stand out. The larger they are, the more they need to be helped in doing that.

The length of the song is more important. I want it to be at least 4 minutes.
There is one club I use to go to often that ended every number at 3 and a half minutes or about 17 songs an hour. At $20 a song that comes to over $300 for the hour which is about what an escort charges.

What is your outlook on dancers all together?
I like dancers for the most part. The ones I spend any time with are usually attractive, intelligent girls, just trying to make a living.
What is your tipping style? Examples - Strict $1, what do you expect when you give a dancer a tip, etc..?
$1 at the stage. If I like the dancer and want her to visit me, I'l make several trips to the stage. I don't just go to the stage one time and give a dancer a $5 or $10. I'm always afraid they won't notice what denomiation it is and will not recognize it as a signal that I'm really interested.
Around here dances in the VIP areas are $20. Floor dances are $10. I never get a floor dance. Champagne rooms are pricier and I pay the going rate.
Any extra tip will come if I've had a good experience and would like the dancer to remember me if I return.
What do you expect out of a lapdance and VIP rooms?
In a VIP room I expect the absolute limit of what the rules allow. In a champagne room, I'd like a little more.
Do you pay for talking time and/or do you offer to buy drinks or will you buy the dancer a drink if she asks? Or do you refuse under all circumstances to buy a dancer a drink?
Unless you call a tip paying for talking time, I don't pay for it. I have bought drinks on occasion, but only when I'm really interested in keeping the dancer's attention. I don't like it when they ask for one.
Are you the type of customer that likes to approach dancers your self or vice-versa? If you only like certain dancers and one you don't like approaches you, how do you react to her?
It depends on the dancer. Three of my "ATFs" approached me initially. I've been approached by some dancers who don't belong in the business and I wish they would stay away. My reaction when one of these asks me for a dance is to politely turn them down. But sometimes they just come up and take the seat next to me. I've never known how to handle this situation. Often I tell them I'm waiting for another dancer. Which works really great when true.
What kind of club attracts you and do you ask dancers for extras? If you ask for extras, what is usually the percentage that agree to extras?
I stay out clubs that don't allow for high mileage. I have never asked a dancer for extras. However, with the right dancer, I wouldn't turn them down.

Seems to be the consensus that the kinder, gentler approach is best. I agree. But there comes a time in the course of the evening where the money and therefore the time runs thin and things must speed up in order to have a satisfying ending.

Rather than look at Republican/Democrat and Liberal/Conservative, there is a better way to look at ideological labels.
Conservative: Wants little government intervention in business; more government intervention in people's private lives.
Liberal: Wants more government intervention in business; less government intervention in people private lives.
Libertarian: Wants little government intervention in either business or private lives.
Populist: Wants government intervention in both business and private lives.
I am a Liberal. I know that word has lost favor over the last 18 years. Ever since the election of Ronald Reagan, liberals have been on the defensive. George H. W. Bush made the term one of disgrace. He refused to even utter the word, instead referring to "the L word."
Liberals ended slavery. A liberal Republican. Liberals got women the right to vote. Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote. Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of Americans out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation. Liberals passed the Civil Right Act and the Voting Rights Act. Liberals created Medicare. Liberals passed the Clean Air Act; the Clean Water Act.
How, with a record like that, "Liberal" became a dirty word, is beyond me.

Help me out here. I've never figured out why anyone who frequents strip clubs, or even goes onto sites like this one, would be supportive of the GOP. If the "base" that the Republicans are always appealing to were to ever gain power, they would shut down every strip club in the country.
