I just looked at a map, looked at all the cities I had traveled to, then counted. 91 is what I came up to. But I am sure there are a few that I am leaving out. So I think the end number is just barely over triple digits.
I started counting and just within half an hour of where I live now, I got to over 30 within my lifetime. That isn't counting those that closed and reopened or the ones that changed owners and revamped themselves.
A few notables that I miss dearly, Al's bar in Newark, Stars and bars in Long Branch, Phoenix and club Fahrenheit in Asbury park and club Celebration in Neptune.
I should write up some of the stories form these places.
6, son to be 7. I have another new place I want to try. One that I went to in my 20s closed years ago. I can’t really travel so I don’t see my numbers getting much higher. And while I’m here, wrong thread, but yea, I agree each club has its own vibe and atmosphere. Sometimes I despise where I go based on my mood, that’s how different they are.
Around 200 or so. I have a 126 review count on her since I joined a decade ago. Then add to that:
1. The ones that got deleted from my count when that was still happening. I think founder fixed that, but once upon a time my place count dropped every time a club that I reviewed was taken off the site...lost a handful of clubs just from that alone;
2. The 50+ clubs I visited all over the U.S., Canada and London before I ever had this screen name on TUSCL; and
3. The approx. 1 out of every 4 that I've visited since writing reviews on TUSCL but did not review for one reason or another (usually because the visit was short or I was too drunk to recall clearly).
Shit, if I really worked to inventory every place I clubbed in the last 20 years the number would probably be closer to 250, but I'll just say 200 or so for the record.
Damn, I had to get out scrap paper for this, and it's not even that many compared to the rest here. But most of them were from my youth, some 30 years ago, so it's difficult to remember all of them. I've counted 16 so far, in three states, two Canadian provinces and Tijuana. I'm sure it's more than that, but probably not much more. The question I'm asking myself is, will I ever step foot into another US or Canadian strip club after having visited TJ a few times? That remains to be seen.
I have three reviews to add, which will bring my TUSCL count to exactly 100. That has been accumulated since 2001 when I joined the board. Since I started clubbing in the late 70’s, my number is somewhat north of that.
Out of those 35, I wonder how many were officially listed on tuscl...lol...probably casually mentioned but not listed...quite a couple of them never bothered to make a website for themselves--because of the time it was late 90s early 2000s, why bother with a website at that time. Flyers on your car and word of mouth did fine.
And wasn't there some sort of debate out there whether the garage-strip clubs in some cities should count as strip clubs? Like one spot, hosted by local bikers in a warehouse for their bikes on Thursday nights complete with a real good DJ. I'm counting public buildings as strip clubs in my list.
Seeing those 35 different names...wow. I don't even want to think about how much money was spent on those places
But the reason it feels like at least 50 for me because at some point in the early 2000s, I met dudes who host SC parties at private homes. I'm NOT counting homes in my list of 35, even though it's a house that I may continually go to for SC parties even after all these years--some of these house parties have lasted at the same house longer than actual brick-building SCs.
I’m guessing around 400. I have 175 places listed since I started posting here almost exactly 5 years ago, and I’ve been going for much, much, longer than that. Most places overseas don’t have strip clubs, but they have juice bars, go go bars, massage parlors or just outright brothels. Counting those places the number would have to Be around 600.
I've reviewed 56 places on here, so I'll say 60 to include pre-TUSCL visits and places that have closed. I know of at least four of those (Coco's, the place in Atlanta formerly known as Foxy Lady, Pleasers, and the former bikini bar in Tallahassee that started it all for me...oh, and this place that used to be in Lauderdale called Ecstasy...and Goldrush in Atlanta). So yeah, somewhere in the 60-65 range.
Roughly 21 or 22. Might have forgotten one or two. All of them fairly local, with the furthest ones a few hours away. of them have closed and many others have gone downhill, so it's just two or three in the rotation now.
Around 60 - 70. Started at 18 years old. Took a couple of extended breaks d/t matrimony. Many of the clubs from the 1980's no longer exist, but will always have fond memories.
I've been to over 150 clubs, ~90% of them between 1984 - 2009. I haven't broken much new ground since 2010. I estimate that over 20% of clubs I've been to are closed.
I'm going to say 40. I keep remembering clubs as I have totaled up the numbers. I thought it was 32, then 35, then 37 and then 39. I know I have forgotten some along the way, so I'm going to say 40 but it's probably more than that.
One night I couldn't sleep, so instead of counting sheep, I counted all the strip clubs that I have been to in the last 50 years. I counted about 95 at that time. Many of course are now gone and only a memory. Now, adding to that count, I'm up to 124, looking for the next one.
I have posted 73 reviews on tuscl since 2011. I clubbed for 5+ years before signing up and probably don't get around to posting reviews on 20-30% of clubs that I visit so definitely 100+ over time I guess.
Too many to count my friends. Clubs have a yearly rick inspection clause. We call it a “rickspection”. I do my duty when it comes to inspecting clubs, just like the smartest hairless ape on the planet and all of the other ricks.
Support rickspection. Don’t go to the club unless it is rick-approved. ROAR!!!
I only have 21 reviewed clubs since I've been posting here and 7! are now closed. Probably most of the clubs I visited before TUSCL are closed as well but I'm guessing it's at least 20 or more so probably 40-50 for me
Around 30 max I guess. Cities (in order of the most to least #): Portland, San Francisco, Phoenix, Albuquerque, San Jose, Boise, Seattle, San Diego, Denver, New York City, Cleveland, Kansas City, Cedar Rapids, Wisconsin Dells area.
25, I guess i've been to none then. All the clubs I've visited always seem to have gay women.
In all seriousness, The Living Room in Dayton, Ohio used to have male dancers till about 9-10PM, then they would leave and the ladies took over. Some guys went there early to hope and catch a horny lady leaving.
I started in Detroit in the early 80’s. Things were pretty tame, not like now. From New York, Baltimore, Toronto. Fort Myers Fl. It has to be 25 to 35 with most in Detroit. A lot of great memories.
I remember this topic coming up before and saying I had been to 71 clubs. This was several years ago, before I moved. I know since I moved I have definitely been to 6 clubs I haven't been to previously, so I am sticking to 77.
@Anthony6613 "I started in Detroit in the early 80’s" Any of these now-defunct clubs on your list: Please Station, The Zoo, The Booby Trap, Gold Door, Jon Jon's or (in Windsor) The Beanery?
Rough count, about 35. Just stated going to clubs fairly recently. A lot before I joined here, including many one offs and visits for bachelor parties of which many times, I don’t remember much. Lol. Looking to add a few more to the list after reading all the reviews on here.
TUSCL helps (I'm at 64 places) but the pre-TUSCL days are tough I estimated 35, so I'm claiming to be under 100. That means I'm not a perverted PL, I think. But there are a couple of joints in town I haven't been to, so maybe I'll get there.

I'm actually proud of y'all

I said 50-75 for myself, but I'm gonna write my list now and see what's the actual number. I'm curious...
I may not hit 50

I've never traveled for business. And the places where I go on vacation often don't have good clubs (Colorado, for example).
I really don’t go that often but I have been going to strip clubs for a very long time.
I’d guess I’ve been to around a hundred, maybe a few more if you count the clubs that are a combination strip club/brothel.
You can't count the gay clubs!
The vast majority were clubs I visited long before I ever heard of TUSCL and probably before the site was even launched.
Anyway, I over-estimated on my first try. But the question made me stop and think about the strip clubs I’ve been to around the world.
I’ll never know for sure, but somewhere between 70 and 80 is a more accurate figure.

Well, looks like someone keeps an Excel spreadsheet handy.

If I remain in my career field as my kids get older and get a job that requires travel, I'll definitely be upping that number.
