How far have you driven for a strip club?

gammanu95
My casual drinking is your alcohol poisoning.
I'm talking about for the express purpose of going to a club - no business trips, hotels, or stopping in to see a buddy. I've completed the sale of my business, but regretfully never had the opportunity to arrange one final trip to Phoenix, Detroit, or San Diego (and by extension, Tijuana). However, I do have many opportunities to travel locally as I meet with the different vendors and businesses necessary to start up the new business. I would not being staying overnight at a hotel. Any of those locations would include at least 4-5 hours driving time (round trip). Whether or not its worthwhile depends entirely on the club, of course, but that's the whole point. Sure, it feel pretty PL-ish, but that is the hobby we chose. So how far have you other mongers driven just to club?

200-miles one-way/400-miles round-trip (on the same day) - from my crib in Miami to Inner Room in Cocoa Beach - about 3-hours each way - have done-it about half-a-dozen times.

On one SC trip from Miami to Cocoa Beach, I stayed over-night then went to club in Jacksonville which was about 160-miles then drove from Jacksonville back home to Miami which was about 350 miles

Despite having so many clubs near me I still occasionally choose to make the 70 minute drive to Tropical Lei in Upland CA. I know that's nothing for some of you guys who drive multiple hours just to get to a fave club.

Approx 100 miles. Used to drive down to Atlanta from Chattanooga when business trips didn't happen often enough to scratch all my itches.

I don't recommend it for newbies. Made a lot of questionable decisions because I didn't want to make that nearly 2hr drive home without getting something out of the trip.

A little over two hours one way. Google maps says 146 miles. I did it a few times last year. I was working crazy hours, so when a holiday came I'd get a hotel in a city with a bunch of high mileage clubs and have a sex marathon over the long weekend.

I made some terrific memories on those little trips. Would do it again 1000%.

If no hotel is a requirement, then I used to drive 180 miles round trip in a day/night from my home east of Kansas City out to the old Tropicana Club south of Topeka. Probably about 3 hours total driving, and also completely worth it. I'd do it again right now if I could.

Not very far for me. I travel for work and can often stay fairly close to clubs I'm interested in visiting. Not sure I've ever driven more than twenty miles from my room to a club. Probably not.

And Lopaw, a 70 minute drive in S Cal, what's that, 10-15 miles! I hear traffic is horrible there.

Like Papi, I've done the trip from the Miami area up to Cocoa Beach, around 190-200 miles depending on where I started. Good times up in Cocoa Beach.

My longest is 150 miles round trip, which is my normal travel since this is the closest strip club to me. The drive does seem long at times, but Tucson is also the place to go for flights, shopping, different dining, and other things to do if you live in surrounding cities.

So to travel there that's normal to me, although it's never been just to go to the strip club. I do other stuff since I'm in the city.

However, once I did make the overall commute 300 miles. I had drove up, stopped by the casino as usual and upon leaving the casino I realized I didn't have my driver's license. Note, I frequent the casino so much I guess they get lax about carding me. So it was like 9 PM and the clubs close at 2 AM and ALWAYS have carded me. So I drive home just to get my driver's license, then back up just to have about 90 minutes in the strip club only to come back home again. So yeah that was pretty PL for me when it comes to distance.

Just under 2 hours or about a 4 hour round trip (around 100 miles) from Boston area to Hartford CT. There was a club there that used to be filled with young under 21 GND knockouts with a lot of them willing to do OTC at a ho-tel just down the street. So I would make the trip a few times a month.
If you count more than driving, I used to fly to Amsterdam at least once a year for the sole purpose of mongering.

Have done from Columbus, Ohio to Detroit, Michigan and back same day which is about 6.5 hours round trip. Between that and 3-6 hours clubbing it can make for a rough drive home same day so anymore will stay overnight at least one night.

Heading up this Tuesday through Friday in fact. :-)

in socal it's not so much distance as it is the traffic. timing of the day determines the time it will take. I will drive an hour and a half to four hours one-way.

Routinely drive about 90 mi. to get both to and from one club I like. Another is 75.

Once went a 200 miles out of my way, both ways, via car to stop in at the Detroit clubs. Also once did a fly-in, fly-out night in Detroit. FS with two different 9's in two hours may still be the highlight of my life.

I’ve driven 100 miles round trip from NJ to the Westport area of southern Ct. I went with my roommate in the late 80’s - to see Barbara Dare dance at a club. I was very new to clubbing - and she was the first porn star I’d seen in person. It was a worthwhile trip.

Yeah, that's great, Cashman1234, I remember one pornstar(unfortunately I forget her name) (: She gave me a great session back in VIP after her stage show, back when Club Venus here used to have feature performers.

15 years ago I used to drive from Atlanta to Memphis 3 or 4 times a year just to visit the infamous Platinum Plus. 400 miles 6 hours.

300-400 miles. But I was driving to see the DS. There's never been another dancer who could motivate me to drive that far.

One way -- five hours -- LAX to Vegas

Round trip -- five+ hours -- LAX to San Diego to TJ on foot and back

Regularly, because I want more mileage and I don't want to party in my backyard, I travel 2.5 hours round trip.

    vm,

I saw a porn "star" in Key West many many years ago. I also don't remember her name, but she ran for some office somewhere, likely '80s or early '90s.

Three hours each way to see a particular dancer. When she moved on, my gas bills decreased along with my clubbing expenses.

I doubt that I would have remembered the feature dancers name - if it wasn’t a long drive - and if my roommate wasn’t so into her. I think it was the beginning of his love for porn star Polaroids! He got a few with Barbara Dare that night - and he was hooked. He went to a few clubs in Times Square - a few weeks later - and got Polaroids with another star - who let him fuck her with a dildo.

He wanted to find Hyapatia Lee dancing at a club. He was totally convinced he could talk her into fucking him. We drove to lots of clubs in NJ, NY, Ct and Pa to catch feature porn stars - but never found Hyapatia Lee.

@ shadowcat -- I was in Jackson MS fifteen years ago, also driving to the PP in Memphis. That's about three hours' driving, I guess? I'd do it round-trip or I'd catch a hotel on the outskirts of Memphis on my way home after the place closed. But then I had my Jaegermeister incident and my habits had to change. LOL. Glad I survived that. Seriously ...

I have also driven from Pinellas County Florida to Pompano Beach, attended Diamond Dolls, and then driven back, without any hotel room in between. That was a nightmare. I can't do that any more. It's almost as bad as the Jaegermeister incident ... but much more legal. Nevertheless, just as risky, falling asleep at the wheel every fourteen minutes or so. Google maps says it's 4 hours 7 mins, 272 miles via the "alligator alley."

I once flew to Houston from as far away as Atlanta expressly to go to Treasures (and a few other clubs) , but I booked a hotel room and a rental car in order to do so. So I guess that's not a proper answer to the question. And I once drove from Buffalo NY to the clubs in Toronto's airport area (Mississauga, Etobicoke, other suburbs) and attended the clubs and then drove back to Buffalo that same night. But that's not quite as far as Tampa Bay area to Pompano Beach and back.

Ridiculous. Why do I do this to myself. LOL

@Corvus - yes traffic here is ridiculous.
When I lived in the southbay about 15 years ago it would often take me 45 minutes to drive 6 miles to and from work - sometimes getting home on a Friday night during rush hour would take over an hour. This was on PCH and no freeways involved. It has only gotten worse since then.
Nowadays I try to plan my visits to TL & COI clubs on Sunday afternoons when the roads aren't quite as insane.
