I haven't been there post pandemic. But pre-pandemic tips were considerably lower. Like $150-200. Bar got the same $50. Sounds like dancers are trying to make up for lost time as quickly as possible.

Sounds typical for WG. Dancers seems to alternate between overly aggressive or don't give a shit
, nothing in between.

All the Illinois clubs in St. Louis area allow 'table dances' not all dancers will do them. Usually $5 or $10 for half a song. Kind of a sample of what a private would be like.

I have noticed that on Friday and Saturday nights it seem to be more common to request payment up front. I think it relates to the type of crowd that comes in on those nights, younger and drunker and more likely to stiff a dancer.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
I once had a dancer I was friendly with walk up to me at the mall and begin talking to me and I didn't recognize her at first. I kept thinking to my self "Who is this?" Fortunately I remembered.
She was someone who's real name I new so I didn't embarass her by calling her by her stupid stage name.

Most regulation of strip clubs is through a state's liquior laws. For example here in Missouri clubs are lame because you cannot get a liquior license for a club with topless dancing without pasties or nude dancing period. In NY a nude bar can only serve beer and wine while topless bars can have a full celection.
This is not likely to change und President Bush for two reasons.
1. The amendment to the constitiution which ended prohibition gave the states not the federal government very wide latitude in the regulation of liquior. The federal government mainly collects taxes on booze. The seal on a bottle of liquior signifies that the excise tax has been paid.
2. Given that the President had indicated that his domestic priorities are to revamp the income tax laws and social security, how much effort do you think he is going to devote to closing strip clubs?
I think what happened in Florida was a reaction to what were very loose rules in some clubs. Florida is the only place I have ever been with nude lap dances. And as we all know some dancers will go beyond the rules, so when you start out so far out things might get very wild. And when something is pushed too far, the push back can be much harder. Tha's what happened in Florida.

Don't give cash as a gift! Even to a stripper its crass. I recommend a gift certificate to a favorite store or resturant she may have mentioned. Shows two things, first she is a fav and second you actually listen when she talks.

Don't confuse attention with respect. Dancers generally have little respect for guys who come in and drop hugh amounts of money. They spend a lot of time with them but they don't respect them.
The way to have a dancer repect you is to treat them with respect, not like a piece of meat, and spend a reasonable amount. After all its how they make a living. I once had a fav say to me I'll meet you by the bar when this asshole leaves. Now this guy probally dropped 10 times what I spent. But he expected to have his ass kissed and she resented it.

Always tip the bartenders and waitresses! It pays off when the club is packed.

I know for a fact that many strippers have two strip club names, a stage name and a fake 'real' name the give to guys who insist on knowing thier real name.
I have never asked a dancer for her real name and never will. Its a sure sign of a PL.

It realy depends on the dancer, espcially when the customer is a woman. Some dancer's just dont't like to do privates with women but will if asked. May not put much effort in though.

I'm not sure about abuse but a stunning number have live-in boyfriends or husbands who do not have and are not looking for jobs. Real jobs anyway. In fact I heard a DJ at a club use this joke:
What is the last thing a showgirl does with her asshole before she comes to work?
Drop him off at band practice!
And even the ones that don't have one currently probaly had one in the past. One told me she gave her boyfriend a car she owned to get him to go away.

Penthouse near St Louis lets high school girsl work weekends as long as they can prove they are 18. Sometimes a problem in the spring as they need to take off Saturday nights for Prom. I'm not making this up. Another girl complained about having to work for one.

its the Hustler Club. It used to be Deja Vu. In Washinton Park just east of East St. Louis. Not much happens as a bouncer patrols the private area. Despite the Larry Flint name and rep the Hustler has the least contact in the St. Louis area.

At the St Louis Clubs run by PTs there are no shot girls but the waitresses can give table dances if they wish to. They can also give private dances but if they do they must pay the club the same nightly maintenance the dancers do and since they may only do one they add the maintenance cost to the price of the dance.
