By the time of my first SC visit back in 2001, lap dances were already the norm. Sometimes I'll talk to older dancers that reminisce about the good ole' days before lap dances were standard stuff. I marvel at the concept of going into a SC and just watching, and not being able to touch the dancers, or have them touch you, although I know that there are still places like that around even nowadays.
I knew on my very first visit that I was in trouble. My guy friends really spoiled me on my first visit and bought me alot of dances. I was in heaven. I knew that there would be no turning back....I was on my way to major PL-dom!

I fear that the clubs we're losing nowadays due to the bad economy and/or the "do-gooders" will never be replaced, so the overall quantity of clubs will drop. Don't know what the mileage will look like in 10 years from the remaining clubs - I predict that it will be an extreme one way or another: either mileage off the charts, or no mileage at all.

Yes indeed, studman - it is Bare Elegance. Their prices are still weird (now that there are nude dances, you'll need a friggin crib sheet to keep track of the prices). And you still pay @ the bar afterwards.
I gotta say, that if it weren't for the 2fer1's, I probably would have stopped going there. $41 for a nightshift topless dance ($51 for nude) is WAY too rich for my blood. The 2fer1's make it alot more palatable.

^^^Agreed - a separate bank account is almost a necessity if you're married. A secret "xmas" club account can save many headaches in trying to explain where all the grocery money went to last week.
And at a minimum it can help you avoid looking like a drunken idiot in front of out-of-town LE.

yeah....one of my fave "upscale" clubs near LAX has started offering 2fer1's all day, everyday. They also recently added nude dances instead of just topless. Nice.

On my last visit to the SR in Torrance I saw a dancer with HUGE tata's, but I couldn't tell if they were natural or not. I don't even know if she is a regular there or just a one-timer. I suppose you could haunt the place and hope she comes back.

When I have had an issue or question about a review, I just PM the reviewer and ask him/her about what they posted. I've always gotten a response, and many times it's led to dialogue that had us both learning a thing or two about the club in question. Although a PM won't address an issue for everyone's eyes to see, it can sometimes help someone understand where their fellow PL is coming from.

As a LA denizen, I wouldn't automatically send newbies over to COI unless they specifically asked for HM clubs. In that case, then COI would be the way to go. But many friends, associates and total strangers I've steered towards clubs here are not looking for HM - many are searching for beautiful LA eye candy, with nominal contact, in a relaxed, no hustle atmosphere. And LA sure has alot of that to offer.
