I've never actually bought a meal for a dancer, but I've had plenty of them mooch off of my plate enough that I think it qualifies!

SoCal is interesting. While San Diego is very hands-off, L.A. & San Fran are well known to be VHM - UHM, generally speaking. Anything goes if the price is right.
The spectrum of dancers & dance prices here in LA runs the full range from $10 - $50, with everything from toothless skanks to actual Playboy bunnies. While it seems fairly straight forward, the dynamics of how SC's operate here is actually pretty complex.

I totally believe that I am "wired" that way. I think that women in general tend to be highly in-tune with their partner's happiness, (regardless who that partner is) and I'm the same way. And in VIP, it becomes a challenge to see who gets who off first!
I'm just a natural born giver, I guess! ;)

Clubber - I saw one a while back where the girl spewed like a whale spout - they had to have her lay on trash bags and I think the film crew were all in haz-mat suits!

Good luck.
I've tried to cut back a few times and only wound up going more often. Kinda backfired. Hope you do better.
Personally, I wouldn't offer up any long or elaborate explanations to the dancers. They'll no doubt be bummed that they will no longer be getting your $$$, but they'll just move on to someone else.

I prefer low slung comfy chairs where there is lots of room to wiggle about. Also love bed and bean bag(!) dances. The bean bag bed dance I got in vegas was a hoot.

Women & men BOTH can be manipulative, dishonest and untrustworthy.
Over the years I've had more than my share from both groups.
Best to judge people individually rather than stereotype an entire gender.

I'm sure they hear it all the time and probably don't even care, but saying "I love you" to a dancer is a sure fire way to freak her out and make her think that you are probably a stalker in the making. I wouldn't recommend it.
The only "I love" that comes out of my mouth to a stripper is "I love your (insert female body part here)".

When texting from strippers tapers off it usually means that they have found someone else who is probably spending more $$$ on them than you, so now THAT person is getting all the juicy "sexts" - at least until she finds someone else with even MORE money. And so it goes.......

Since the OP never really stated any mileage preferences, I don't know if he's looking for a jack shack, or a classy upscale club just to ogle Playboy quality talent. The standards/moral issue can be a basis for helping to point someone in the right direction for the best clubbing suited for their personal tastes.

Ridiculous gas prices (I paid $4.26/gal yesterday) have not stopped or slowed down my SC visits.
I'd crawl across broken glass if I had to, in order to get my SC fix!

California is a big place, my friend, and different areas have different rules.
LA is pretty darn huge, and there are tons of clubs here that run the gamut from "upscale" to "you're likely to be murdered before you leave the parking lot". There are my personal faves, the LAX clubs....then there are the Valley clubs, the high end Westside clubs, and heading further east there are the COI brothels - oops - I meant COI stripclubs....
Where in LA are you planning on clubbing? Are you bringing some serious cash? Are your standards high? Your morals low? If so, I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here.

It's funny you mentioned that coz my SC visit today to my local SR had me shaking my head at all of the guys sitting at the bar with their backs to the stage (not ever looking at all at the stage, much less tipping!). I think there were maybe 3 or 4 of us PL's actually FACING the stage, while a good 7 or 8 guys were at the bar. I couldn't help but wonder why they bothered coming in to watch b-ball & completely ignoring the dancers, when they could have been sitting in a much cheaper neighborhood divey regular bar? Why pay $8 for a beer at an overpriced tittybar and not even acknowledge the girls? What am I missing here?
