Hi all: I would be interested in having a lesbian friend for a different perspective that will broaden my understanding of socio-cultural dynamics as well as the wonders of the human psyche. But honestly, the biggest reason I would like to have a lesbian friend is because of the things we can do if she ever wants to bring her girlfriend.

davids if you understand what academics is all about you would never go around forcefeeding and insisting on your opinions. Someone as well read as you are must know that even research based observations are just a best guess and a lead-in to further research on the topic. An academic will never write on a strip club discussion board that he's confident if we asked for opinions of everyone here they would agree with him. An academic would never pull statistics out of his ass to the tenth decimal place. An academic is careful about what he writes and understands when something is just an opinion. And we are here to post opinions to relax and share and have fun, so that's ok. But you want to contribute academically to this then get yourself some frequent flyer membership and start flying all over the world collecting data from random strip clubs about how often strippers scam people and tell us what you find (along with all the other considerations of research, but I'm sure you know all about them). In the meantime save us your arguments about your "understandings" because they are just your "opinion," and not the freaking "truth"! Understand that! Post it on your wall!

Not sure what you mean by that, either one of us have time to respond we don't have a timer here. Anyway I stayed in the argument actually to see maybe if I wasn't getting something, since I've found sometimes if I take the high road too early I'm actually the one missing the point. But you're right the whole discussion board carries a fantastic element we don't use our real names (though we try to make real arguments).

FONDL: I've had that happen too, it's really dumb on the stripper's part. I know it's harder for the youngin's to understand, but as men get older it gets to be more than just the hard on and the tits rubbing in your face, sometimes it's nice to carry on a conversation. This is different from infatuation of a romantic relationship, even though I'm not against it when it happens (since apparently it has happened a couple of times to ppl around me), that's just not what I look for. It's just a nice easy conversation either before or after LD's that makes the experience much more comfortable and relaxing. I might never talk to her again or I migth become a regular, but it always stays ITC, just personal preference. Some strippers really need to read and understand this...

no I think sitting on my lap before and after dances and light scratching and small talk does go a long way, so long as they act like they care more than just taking my money I leave with a good impression, it's all about customer satisfaction. Best Buy and Circuit City really don't care if you're happy for them to feel warm and fuzzy, they care if you're happy so you'd go back and spend more, strippers should do the same.

oh maybe you meant the discussion board just to share some stories and thoughts and maybe tips on clubs, I'd love to see more talk about strip club experiences.
