    WHAT MEN'S COLOGNE?
Interesting comments: e23- On Rue21 Black, fragrantica.com reviewers have essentially said that its a great starter cologne for a 14 yo. One reviewer said that it was the most cloying cologne she'd ever smelled- guess gmd won't be buying a bottle of it anytime soon. S-man: Yes, DGT1 has many rave reviews. It is actually one of my faves, but strangely enough haven't had too many compliments wearing it. OTOH, a recent club outing wearing Polo Blue (no, Trixi,I wasn't in PDX- haven't been to a club there since the 90's) garnered about the strongest positive reaction of almost any frag I've worn. Papi- Calvin Klein makes Obsession in both mens and womens versions. Different formulations, but they do share some common notes. It may not be highlighted, but a travel size bottle of "CKO" has "for men" in small print below the Obsession on both the bottle and the box. art- Do you actually use the "Diesel" brand of fragrance, or do you go into club reeking of diesel fuel, relying on your charm, wit, and large bankroll to have an enjoyable outing ?

The New Look, will it mean you visit more of less often?
No effect either way for me, though I agree with dallas and shadowcat. I'll admit that I don't miss all those blue crickets on the initial subject page.

    WHAT MEN'S COLOGNE?
LG- I agree with the second part of your sentence in that strippers appreciate us making an effort to smell good. I've garnered compliments on fragrances ranging from a $15 travel size from walmart to something that might cost nearly a Benjamin at Neiman Marcus. LG, are you a Creed or Clive Christian kind of guy ?

    The Ultimate PL
Good story and prose, as usual, CP. Idk if I'd cry from laughing so hard, or just plain crying if I were to actually see this at club. I guess one thing that might top that would be for the same dude to rent an exotic car with 4 figure daily rate from Scottsdale, timing his arrival at the dancers arrival at club. He hopes to impress her enough for an OTC pitch, but then watches her get picked up at the end of her shift by musician BF driving a P.O.S. 10 year Chevy Aveo.

    Missing the lil fella already
z68- What makes you think LMN is a 'lil fella ? As for myself missing him-Nah! But, to go OT, there's a couple of Detroit area Tusclers that I wonder about- Alucard and vincemichaels. "Drac" hasn't logged in since April, vince since last August. Hope that both are OK- hard to imagine either losing interest in stripclubs.

Tt- What do you consider cab distance to be ? In minutes ? In miles ? If you go by 10 or 10, you're pretty much restricting yourself to 3 clubs. (Bare, Jet Strip, and Exotic City). My personal preferences would be in that order, though I don't know squat about "EC". If you want to venture slightly outside 10 mile radius, Silver Reign and Skin to the North (I think both might have same ownership- Silver Reign is almost COI like- high mileage, high hustle, high cash burn, though YMMV definitely applies there) or Spearmint Rhino-Torrance to South, if you have the Jones for an alcohol serving topless club. I'm guessing Tt is staying at a Century Blvd. hotel, which can have high parking fees, even for hotel guests.

    OT: Airport Codes
Try these on for size, fellas: BAD, FAT, NFL. I don't think any monger will be going to any of these 3 places by choice. The 2nd one (FAT) is Fresno, CA, derived from Fresno Air Terminal. I don't think there's any stripclubs there. If there are, I'm sure they're way down on the bucket list. Choices 1 & 3 are military bases: BAD= Barksdale AFB (LA), NFL= NAS Fallon (NV).

OT: NBA Playoff Predictions (Tongue In Cheek Stripclub Index)
Finally aced it- Batted 1.000 and picked the number of games it took to boot. Now for my Final Predictions and Rationale- MIAMI vs SAN ANTONIO: HEAT IN 5 Miami has Tootsies plus a slew of nude clubs that serve alcohol. Plus Miami gets a slew of long distance help from Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, West Palm beach nude/alcohol clubs, several which are, or have been in T10 Tuscl list. San Antonio has (how many fingers can you hold up).. how many clubs ? How many nude clubs ? Long distance help from Austin ? Several Austinites are probably Dallas Mav fans. Austin has had 3-4 of its clubs in T10, which is the only thing that keeps me from predicting a Miami sweep.

    off topic: american sports cars
My fave Vette: 1963-1967 Stingray. 2nd most fave (styling-wise) is the C4 (esp. 92-96 vversion.) I liked the C5 looks, though not quite as much as the C4. I got over that after I test drove one. As for the C6, I didn't care for the chopped off look of the side profile view. I got over that after I test drove one, more so when I sampled the much improved newer headlights. (The better to see where I'm going during my night club visits.) I'm not too crazy about the looks of the latest C7 version- looks too much like a Camaro. I haven't test driven one- yet. As for other American muscle- I prefer Mustang (and its Shelby, Roush, etc mods) over Camaro and Chrysler products.

    Only one night in Vegas...
Wherever you decide to go, please provide a better review than the canned vague rambling review that you put forth last week. You say that cover charge was "high"- OK, how much was it ? You have free access to all reviews now- ask yourself "which reviews were most helpful in helping me base my go/no go decision to club" on and strive to emulate them in your future reviews.

Song length ... why cut them ?
Papi- They cut songs because they can. Idea being that if it takes, say, 10 minutes to achieve a certain level of satisfaction, PL will end up buying 4 dances vs 3. Clubs in SlickSpic's area are the worst offenders as the norm (based on half a dozen or so different area clubs 2005-2007) was often in the 2:15-2:30 range.4 Play was the only area club to play 3 minute songs. I have yet to hear real long songs like "Stairway To Heaven" or long version of "Time Has Come Today" in a stripclub.

    SC Management
IME, "management" in most cases is out of sight, out of mind. As for staff, my experiences are more in line with sharkhunter. It seems to be a law of nature that when you REALLY would like a drink, you could piss on the floor with waitress standing a few feet away, and nobody would notice. Yet when your glass is half full, you will have every waitress in the place pestering you for another drink. There are some exceptions to rule, especially in clubs where you are a regular of sorts.

The Most Commonly Spoken Language in Each State Besides English and Spanish
lopaw- I recall seeing Tagalog as a language option (amoung 5-6 others) on a L.A. area ATM machine. A good informal poll would be to see how many language options are on area ATM machines. @farmerart: "Charles Lindbergh fawning all over Hitler and his Nazi regime". Really, art, where do you get this crap from ? Yes, Lindbergh spent some time in Germany before WW2, much of it touring Luftwaffe facilities with German brass ( and evaluating German aircraft capabilities, gathering intelligence data to bring back to USA). Yes, Lindbergh was against US involvement in early stages of WW2, and spoke/wrote against it. But, once the hostilities started, he served well as a consultant, teaching Air Corps and Marine pilots in the Pacific Theater long range flying techniques that enabled the forces to extend the combat radius. He also flew combat missions (as a civilian), and even shot down at least one enemy aircraft. That doesn't sound like a Nazi apologist to me.

Good one, joker, though I'd substitute a goose for a pigeon since geese seem to shit more and bigger. "CTTOI", that is a more apt description of Tuscl DB. Also, I suspect most have heard the phrase "out of here like shit through a goose". Now that wouldn't be a bad exit plan for some trolls/spammers.......

    Retirement and SCing ?
I'd give it some consideration, but not let it be the main driver. One needs to look at regular "QOL" factors like quality of neighborhoods, availability of quality medical care, favorite recreational activities, kind of residence $$ will buy, tax structure, and agreeable weather. Detroit may have great stripclubs, but I have no desire to endure Detroit winters. COI may have great clubs, but if I must live in a SoCal bungalow or trailer park in the price range of a good condo or house elsewhere, count me out.

OT: NBA Playoff Predictions (Tongue In Cheek Stripclub Index)
Didn't do so hot in 1st round- 3/8, though in 1 of wrong predictions, I guessed the number of games (IND vs ATL) that it would take to win. Correctly predicted a Miami sweep. .375 Average. Putting the past behind, and moving on to 2nd Round: (Again, these predictions have nothing to do with actual teams strengths- I'm basing it on respective stripclub city strengths. I'll provide rationale in future post. INDIANA vs WASHINGTON: PACERS in 5 MIAMI vs BROOKLYN:>>>> HEAT in 5 SAN ANTONIO v PORTLAND:BLAZERS in 7 OKLAHOMA CITY v L.A.:> CLIPPERS in 5

Some thoughts on this: 1)PrimO, thanks for link, and for expanding my browsing perspective. 2) I don't recognize anyone in the pics. 3) This is like random pictures of used cars- some gems, many clunkers. 4) Dim lights and alcohol can make many dancers seem attractive.
