Trojangreg - I realize it's been about 15 years since I was last in Vancouver, but back then the hottest damn women actually walked the streets (as opposed to working in strip clubs). No foolin' - these ladies were very attractive. And of course, good fun could be had for the right price (which of course was rather expensive). So - has this all dissappeared?

To me, it seems, the formula is very simple. Consistent mentioning or implications of extras at a club gets it raided and in some cases shut down. It's a notoriously repetitive scenario. These raids are big money-makers for cash-strapped local governments (in terms of fines), and information found here simply gives away free tips to LE. You want your favorite club to stick around? Be vague in your reviews or don't review it.

I can't believe that a recommendation has not been made for the fastest street legal car sold int he US today, at least off the line in the 0-60 time (3.9 sec). It is none other than the Tesla Roadster. This car is electric and makes no noise. I had the pleasure of riding in one last week and it was quicker than a Honda 909 motorcyle - the racing kind. This beauty is costly - $110k - but much cheaper than new Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and high-end Porsches. If that's too much, then in 2012 Tesla will sell the Model S Sedan for $58k. It will also be electric, and is set to compete with the BMW 7 Series. Both cars come with a $7,500 federal tax credit. Both cars have a 240mi. range between charges. It may not be quite good enough to get from Atl to Columbia in 1 shot, but close. A long lunch and charge at a motel somewhere with 220V power (or your favorite club - tap into the AC mains) and you're on your way. Plus it is a major sweet ride and a head-turner. Any self-respecting stripper would love to ride in a Roadster.

The Onion rocks. Published out of Madison, WI I believe. Their print version has been in Chi-town for over 10 years now. They are always a stitch. I laughed pretty hard at that one - especially when the anchor woman warns the reporter at the end of the clip to "..not f@$k any sluts" - classic!

This really sucks. I'm in San Antonio today and have a few hours to kill. Arrests for strippers taking off their clothes sounds very puritanical. Not as bad as Saudi Arabia, but close enough. I suspect that with the big New Year's eve party downtown last night (which is a pretty big shin-dig, from what I can gather), along with the fact that the Alamo Bowl will be held tomorrow, is enough for the local politicians to get their public 'kudos' by arresting strippers for having the audacity of taking off their clothes (the shame of it all!). Anyway, my favorite club down here is closed for the day - not sure if they are laying low b/c of the raids or because it's New Year's Day. One day I will die and go to heaven and be at a strip club perpetually, where all fun is allowed.
If anyone is local down here pm me and let me know if anything is going on.
Happy New Year!

The worst club in the galaxy for lack of privacy has to be Bobby's in my hometown. All in the open, lots of bright lights, and at least 10 idiot pool players watching you. It took a while to get used to hanky panky in the open. But alas, nothing goes on there any longer, so the lack of privacy is a moot point.

Thanks for letting us know. If I ever get a chance to go down to Atlanta I would like to make your acquaintence. I do occasionally travel to Columbus for business and would like to meet Bro when he's back in the saddle. God speed to all!

I vote for Prius. While she doesn't sound too flashy, you get VERY high mileage for the least amount of cost!

Mileage still sucks in Chi-town. Recession or no you're not going to get much here. Maybe a better chance for a phone number for OTC.

1st question - Yes. 2nd question - No. The dancers in the local clubs that I've seen are making less $, but it is driving them to look for other employment instead of making them desperate. Times are tough but not that tough.

What's the one drink that a baby seal will not order at a bar? A Canadian Club!

I assume disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor. That's why he keeps his lawyer job. Still, our tax dollars at their finest work.

Geez, sounds like my stomping grounds - the crappiest strip club city this side of Paris - Chicago. Can't wait to see your report. BTW, were you a novelist in a past life? I laughed myself silly reading your reviews. Keep up the good work!
