@sfrsox, You do know why they do this. As a business, if there is an opportunity for them to make money, they want to - That is just capitalism. Now, you and I may not like it, but if they enforce 2 drink minimum and charge 12$ for pepsi, it is their deal... If they do have enough customers to make a profit happen, more power to htem. If they do not have enough profit to make it happen, guess what will happen... Their pricing or policies will come back down... That is how capitalism works, and you and I and the whole bunch of people in this group isn't gonna make a dent into their pockets. Sorry, but not sorry.

Are we all seriously saying that we can pool our thoughts and discussions towards changing the mind of owners or managers? They know who they are hiring. Like any business or salespeople, if there are lots of girls clamoring over to their SC, then they will obviously pick and choose... When that doesn't happen: Consider that they might already be stopping a handful of uglies. Who knows they would have stopped a heck of a lot more, fat, gory and even ugly pierced, skin crawling dancers. They still got to make their "reasonable" quota on the number of girls. Yes, any of us can help reduce the numbers, but as managers, they are also knowledgeable about emotions and dealing with people - They already know... Did you stop to ask them WHY they are doing what they are doing, Author?

Thanks for the responses. This is a great way to start things off. We all meet with a few like minded people in the clubs but I had never asked if they are in TUSCL or not. But, the discussions here are fantastic

Everyone starts off timid and gets bold... This is the same with ANY job, ANY customer service, ANY profession, ANY sport, ANY card games, ANY idea. Nobody starts off driving at 90 mph on a 55.... They start slow and steady then know what they can and can't do... everybody has to be a SIMP at start, and progress.

You are asking the wrong question... The correct question is: What does your heart tell you? To go or not to go.... Hear what your heart tells you and do it... Everybody will have their own reasons, and ideas, based on their history, age, locality, availability, timelines, commitments.... And their reasonings dictate their actions - it doesn't have to dictate yours... Do what your heart tells you and you will be fine.
