@IceyLoco Just because you haven't met any who have felt that way doesn't mean we don't exist. Some girls seem to hate it, I had one dancer confront me in the dressing room once and just say, so are you seriously telling me you're just fine with all this? And I told her I was and that if she was so uncomfortable with it she should probably find another job instead of doing something she hates. But there are girls who like the job and know how to make a good balance between their stripper life and their regular life. Right now I do kind of feel like I'm living a double life, one life as a stripper and one life as a normal high school girl. It can be weird at times but other times its kind of exciting. @Nicole Most of the guys are not misogynists or creepy, some of them are assholes but if a guy is being an asshole towards me I just walk away from them and find somebody nicer to sit with. The sweet guys at strip clubs are incredibly generous. I do enjoy the attention and I like having a place where I can show off my beauty with no shame. I like feeling special, having all these guys spending hundreds of dollars to be with me. Coming back home with $500 or $600 in your purse because of how much guys enjoy your beauty is an amazing feeling. Strippers are trying to fight against stereotypes because we are constantly misrepresented by people. @JamesSD Yeah somebody who is high or drunk all the time probably is. I have a couple friends who said they wanted to get a tattoo as soon as they turn 18, I've never really thought about getting one. I read some of this thread, couldn't possibly read all of it. Here's what I think. The bad things are mostly happening in weird PMs that are being sent. The weird PMs I get don't come from people who post here regularly, or from the troll accounts y'all see they come from people who never post on the board. I mentioned to Founder in a PM that the ignore function doesn't actually stop you from seeing what people said in PMs but he has since fixed that. There is misogyny here, some of the stuff here does make me a little uncomfortable. I feel that the same could be said for any internet site though. I get more creepy messages from guys on my Instagram account than I get here. One thing is that people were very rude to me when I first started posting and I almost left because people were accusing me of being a troll and making fun of me and I felt unwelcome but some users really went out of their way to welcome me onto the forum and I appreciated that. It seems things have gotten better and I don't get those rude comments anymore. It is frustrating when people make rude comments towards you when you haven't done anything to provoke anyone.

And obviously I'm not talking about married guys or guys just wanting to have fun or whatever. I'm just talking about guys who specifically say they don't want to date a stripper but would date a regular girl.

I'm not going to re-spark that discussion but if a guy chooses not to date a girl because she is a stripper then that is his fault, not hers. Strippers are perfectly able to be loyal girlfriends.

I think it really just depends on how the guy acts. I'm okay with a guy who just seems to like me, if I think the guy is getting obsessed and could become a stalker though I will cut it off with him.

I have a burner app on my phone now and I just give customers that I think will be seeing me again that burner number instead of putting them into my contacts, they can just text me to ask when my shifts are. It also helps to know whether someone is going to be coming in so I have a better idea before I go of how much money I could make that night and I don't have to work the floor with as many customers who aren't interested in getting dances.
