You don't need a wingman at a strip club.
Find a girl at your club who you think is cool, but she's not the girl you're after. Always buy a couple dances from her when you come in, and always tip a little above and beyond (it doesn't have to be a huge amount, but she'll notice and appreciate it). When it's slow just shoot the shit with her and make her feel like you're into her as a person, you like her opinions, etc. Then, when there's a new girl you want to monger with have your friend go tell her how long you've known each other and how trustworthy she thinks you are, etc. Your OTC batting average will increase, and your selections will be better.
A wingman cannot do this for you. It has to be another girl at the club.

I always tip in VIP. So if she starts nagging throughout the dance I say "Don't worry, I'll take care of you at the end". If this doesn't shut her up, then there's no tip.
Only once did it not shut her up enough that I could enjoy the experience.

I always tip for VIP unless it was just bad. If I just do dances I pay in denominations of twenties, so if it comes to $80 she gets $80, but if it comes to maybe $50 she gets $60. Unless she really went above and beyond (or I have hopes of getting her out of there). Sometimes I tip extra well at the stage if it's crowded and I think it will get me the attention of the one I'm interested in.

I get what the guy is saying. When I want to approach women and do all the work I go to a civvie bar. When I'm at the strip club they should approach me and I get to reject/accept at will. That's the bizarro world fun of it all. If she wants my money she needs to put the phone down and give it some effort (even if the club is full of people who aren't buying dances). If I have to work to get the attention of the strippers then I'm hightailing it on out of there and I'll spend the night elsewhere approaching strange women for free.
I'm with pitts1 on this one.

My worst trip last year was in Indianapolis. I'd been to Brad's Brass Flamingo twice before and loved it. Went back again and had a really shitty time. It was twice as crowded as before, and all the girls were nasty. It didn't make any sense, so I headed over to PTs, and it sucked too, really slow with only one slightly attractive girl, and her dance sucked so I only bought one.
I might have had a better time at Rio. But who knows.

Strip clubs by far. I like having selection to choose from. I like the process of talking to different girls and zeroing in on the one I want. I like the fact that they're not all whores, and I enjoy finding the nicer ones (or those capable of making themselves out to be nice girls), making them feel comfortable, and then seeing how it progresses. It mimics dating more than anything else.

I currently feel comfortable taking girls 15 - 20 years younger than me to a hotel, but when I reach my 60s I think I'll want to just keep it in the club, have fun there, and do a lot of champagne rooms. Some of the shit I've put up with OTC, I don't think I could do it as an older gentleman. It makes perfect sense to me why I'd want to stay at the club, especially when it comes to the girls who can't perform until I drive them to a shitty part of town to pick up their prescription. . But to each their own.

The few times I have clubbed with someone able to spend more like I do, they've been oddly competitive about comparing their approach to mine, and wanting to compete over girls and weird shit like that. It just made me feel like they were blowing money in order to feel like a big shot. They were more immersed in the hobby than my real friends, but I didn't feel like they were good at it, or even responsible about it.
It would be nice to have a friend who can club in a laid back yet manner, bide their time for something worth their while, and be content with a few drinks and some tipping at the stage if they don't find what they're looking for.

When I do go with a friend I tend to spend less, mainly because I have someone to talk to for free at various points throughout the evening. But my fiends tend to buy dances from anyone who asks, where I'm better at biding my time, getting the one I want, and then spending primarily on her.
They also tell me not to be rude when I turn a girl down from the start so that I don't waste her time, where they feel obligated to listen to her sales pitch . . . and then obligated to buy a dance . . . sigh . . .

I used to take a friend on UFC nights, but he started spending more than I thought was good for him and I felt like a bad influence. That, and I didn't want to spend what I usually do myself in front of company.
We did venture out just recently though. He brought home a girl who I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole . . . but for much cheaper than I've ever paid for OTC . . . so good for him, I think.

I see where this could be beneficial to the girl, because who doesn't love a drunk customer with a credit card in hand. But I think some customers would wake up the next day and report the charge(s) to their credit card company as fraudulent . . . even if they think they were charged the right amount. There could be a lot of unanticipated hassle with this approach.

Dominic77 - please review her math. It's biased advise from a stripper. She's telling me what she would want the customer to do in order to benefit her, and it has nothing to do with getting the girl to go for what I want.
stripfighter - I consider this the best answer so far. And I do believe myself to be her best customer. She's never not available when I text. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Drive down price, yes! More stripper drama, though. Part of the reason I agreed to such a generous price in the first place is that this girl has been absolutely zero drama from day one. Is it even possible to bring down the price without bring in the drama. I just don't want that.

Really? That's your advice? I have plenty of funds but it doesn't mean I'm going to keep overpaying. And I'm definitely not going to start seeing her less often for virtually the same amount of money. The entire point is that I could see other girls more often for less money.

I appreciate all of the feedback. Just one point of clarification, our thing is pretty much exclusively OTC. And now I'm under the impression that I could be doing OTC with half the girls at the club instead, but for less. It's a tough proposition. The one I'm with now is definitely the cutest. But I think she made the mistake of bragging about it to a couple girls at work, so now they all (1) consider me safe and nonthreatening, and (2) they know what price they need to beat.
She probably shouldn't have bragged about it, but there's nothing I can do now except decide what I want to do next.
