I feel as though you fail to realize that not all of Michigan is like metro Detroit clubs. Many of most popular extras clubs were cleaned up by vice. Now there's probably a handful of high mileage clubs outside of the city limits here.
Obviously, as customers, you guys aren't grasping how shitty this situation would be for dancers in general or who may not have any other choice of employment.
Detroit clubs are not all of Michigan. Extras within Detroit aren't found in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Ypsilanti, Lansing, etc.

^please don't assume all of us do FS or BJs in the club. Also, many of those FSbgirls wouldn't be able/allowed to work or get a license if you actually had read what I posted. If you'd like to see the proposed bill at it's core, I'll fucking post it.

I highly doubt it considering how much they already have to deal with keeping the club open and functioning.
And with that said, I really wish some of you would read the reviews instead of messaging us ladies trying to get us to hook you up with a club to get your rocks off at. This is why the reviews exist.

Papi, mentioning dancers on their phones... I do agree with that wholeheartedly. The only time I personally feel it's acceptable or okay is when the club is dead.
Silver Criket is the only club I've worked at where there's a fine for being on your phone. I can't remember if it's $25 or $50, but they do enforce it for dancers.

I believe all SCs need to keep in mind their dancers pay them to work there and it would not be a SC without the dancers. Bouzouki, for example, is the worst managed club I've ever worked at. I was constantly told what to do and who to talk to. Literally all other clubs here I've worked at in Detroit "get it" and have never given me the issues Bouzouki did - (Silver Criket, Truth, BT's, Legends, Deja Vu, Centerfold).
At Deja Vu, we're told at least one of our songs on stage needs to be nude. I take mt top off second song, and bottoms third song. Some girls take tops and bottoms off third song. Some girls just wait until the near end of the third song to take their bottoms off (if nobody is tipping). We are told not to grind on customers in dancea if doing a nude dance, too.
As for the "can't hack-it in the real-world in a real-job" thing, I have two college degrees. I had corporate jobs in info tech and remote desktop support. I can program and run command line Linux. I'm a fuckin nerd.
But I strip, not because I can't handle a "real job," but because I choose and want to. I have an autoimmune disease and sometimes I just can't physically get out of bed. Corporate jobs don't care and you're still expected to show up. As a dancer, I can just call in or opt to make up the shift another day and still have my job. I'm also a night owl and extremely into physical fitness and keeping an active lifestyle, so dancing is perfect for me currently.
Others strip because they might have no other choice. They are also usually the stereotypical dancers.
Back to the topic, the comment above mine, every club I've worked at (except Deja Vu) has late fees for showing up after your shoft starts. It's very typical. Bouzouki and most others are $10/hour. Legends is more expensive at $10/half hour. The latest I can show up to wprk at Deja Vu is 9pm Sun-Wed and 10-11pm Thurs-Sat. Showing up after the cut off gets you sent home.

I started working a Deja Vu near Detroit and it is completely different from what I'm used to. I can confirm, at least in regards to this location, the independent contractor status is taken seriously and none of the staff tells me what to do at all. The only fine we have there is $150 for a missed shift and another fine for breaching contract (not working the minimum amount of days per week).
The girls are allowed to drink (but they have to bring in their own).
Legends has a few fines. Missed shift is $50. Two girls in the bathroom at one time is $50. Not so much a fine, but the freelance "fee" is $50 added to tip out. Once, an extras girl (who has been reviewed before) was fired for stealing a wad of cash from a customer while he was counting what he owed. She just grabbed it all and walked away. She was fired for that and her rehiring fine was $500 and had to be paid in full.
Bouzouki had a MILLION fines for little stupid shit and they were never enforced. Just empty threats of possible fines.

I agree with the above comments. Send a text right away. Also, don't be annoying. Don't try to hang out with the dancer. You two aren't friends. I've been getting this shit a lot from customers where I give them my Google Voice number and they text me every damn day to see how I'm doing. A dancer's number is a way to connect with her to see when she's working next or to make arrangements for you to pay her otherwise (OTC action).

I had to take a break from Legends for a minute, so I went to Deja Vu. While the girls drink in the locker room, I work sober. It has been amazingly eye opening realizing just how much is spent on alcohol per shift and how much more aware I am of my earnings, the customers, and the other dancers.

Somebody asked what club that is. It is definitely not Truth. I'm guessing it's either Erotic City or that one at 8/John R near Centerfold (former King of Diamonds).
Detroit has Project Greenlight. Fueling up at a Project Greenlight station is safe depending on how busy it is, the location, and which corporate station it is (Speedway, BP, etc). There's a Shell off of 75 North heading out of downtown that I try to avoid. Day or night - there are ALWAYS pandhandlers, "homeless", or asshole kids hanging out.
