It used to be that when you traveled to a big city, the cab drivers would take you to high end hotels with high end escorts in the hotel bar. I believe that is still going on, the bar scene, but I have yet to try it in Los Angeles, a friend of mine did get a business card form a 10 in one of the hotels in Downtown.
