I took a peek at the dancer directory, a couple of those spelt like BP ads. Not sure if you wanna start policing or what, just figured I'd mention it.

Had to deal with this on Craig's List. People were putting up extremely explict ads. If no one said anything, they would stay up. But most of the Craig's List "community" was outraged by such. "You're selling blow jobs".

This is how our society is, highly polarized over such issues.

I think this is not a time for a forum to be breaking new ground. Its a time for pulling back. And some "socially redeeming value" additions would help.

StripperWeb Version 2.0

I looked through a few of the pages, there's a gay dancer named Boy1der in there. My first thought was that it's not acceptable to have him here but it occurred to me that we already have the sanjosecreep and realrandumbmemberdougster here so one more is no big deal.

That these adult sites become more like StripperWeb, for a while, is inevitable. Its just a matter of survival.

Also FWIW, they talk about strip club DFKing a lot on stripper web. When I first joined this I also did lots of googling on stripper web.

Of course they are real angry about the girls do it, in the booths, and in the front room too. Some girls go around and give thank you DFKing to anyone who tipped them on stage. Basically its a way of offering dances, as well as more extended makeout sessions before going to the back room. Basically DFKing anyone who showed any interest in them.

Locally we have had girls doing it the same way, but not waiting until their stage set is over. Other's doing it by lying on the bar. But the circumstances behind this were rare, with our closely regulated clubs.

On Stripper Web they also talk about escorting, and there they all take DFKing as an accepted matter of fact.

If you wanted, you could add to that name, the time and date. This way if I see that someone else has remained the last poster and I read that time and date, then I know whether there have been other posts since I last looked. Lots of message boards have this.

But just with what you have recently added, it makes a huge difference in how easy it is to follow this board.

I like the idea of a dancer-directory - I think it's a win-win - a PL can get w/ a dancer he finds interesting, and a dancer can get some extra-biz.

It'd help if there were different ways to organize the dancer list - e.g. alphabetical, by state, by last-seen-date, etc.

^^^^ but remember, as nice as that sounds, there is now Fosta, and an over zealous federal gov't. There are lines which must not be crossed, and this will be in their perception, not ours.

Fosta is so broad and vague that its attack on free speech has to be unconstitutional.

It is working rather like that old Meese Commission Letter, by intimidation instead of legal due process.
