You say it's the only paper check you receive, so if you were married with a joint account, your spouse wouldn't see it, (like she would see your regular paycheck deposits). So maybe your co-worker wants to keep the bonus check for himself and use it for, oh, let's say, strip club visits. In that case he would want to maximize the size of the check. Just spit-balling here, not like I have any personal experience or anything.

@grand1511 - Had a similar situation when my old club closed. Dancer said she was going to miss seeing me every week, asked to exchange numbers so we could keep in touch, since I was her favorite customer, etc. To make a long story short, her transition plan was to be become an escort, with her club regulars as her first clients. I chose not to partake (escorts are not my "thang"). Of course, I don't know your dancer, so this may or may not apply.

You beast! Just kidding, I did the same thing recently when a dancer I hadn't seen for awhile came on stage and I wanted to say hello to her. I'm sure you'll be hearing from mdb about this.

@JamesSD - from what I've heard, the launch is not until 2020, and games will be played starting in Jan/Feb (presumably after the Super Bowl so as not to directly compete with the NFL).

They did say that players would be required to stand for the National Anthem. Also clotheslines, head slaps, grapping the facemask, and late hits will not be penalized. Wooooo!

@25 - Could be. Trump owned the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL) in the 80's. The USFL shut down in 1986 after losing $160M.

After the spectacular flame-out of the original XFL, this sounds like a vanity project to soothe Vince's bruised ego, but he's got $100M to burn, so more power to him. I did like "He Hate Me" though.

@ impala - Yes, I'm guilty of going back to the same lame club over and over again, and that exact quote (I believe it's usually attributed to Einstein) has popped into my head more than once. I do try and vary the days and time I go for whatever that's worth. And like Bj99 says, while it's hit and miss, good experiences are frequent enough to keep me coming back.

@nj_pete - All those are possible reasons, but I agree it's a bad business decision for dancers to ignore customers, if not for the individual girl, than for the club in general. My local club, for all its (many) faults, has a strict no cell phone policy for dancers on the floor. I've also seen the (female) manager go around telling dancers sitting by themselves or in groups to get off their lazy, albeit cute, butts and chat up some customers. Side note: We had an "All-Hands" meeting with our company's new boss recently and his first order of business was to ban cell phones from all meetings, so it's not just strippers. (Unfortunately for me, this means no more reading TUSCL reviews during boring staff meetings).

Yes, also a leg man. After her face, legs are the first thing I look for in a dancer, then ass, then tits. The other night, while sitting with my dancer on the floor, I had her put her stretched out legs in my lap so I could stroke her smooth, toned thighs. Very nice.

Personally I don't bring it up. Dancers can figure out I'm married because I always wear my wedding ring, even inside the club. If a dancer asks, "so you're married?" I smile and say "yes, happily" and let it drop. I've heard dancers mockingly talk about guys that come in and spend the whole time talking about their wives. Worst story was a dancer told me a customer bought a one hour VIP and spend the whole time crying over problems with his wife. I don't think you want to be one of those guys.

Thanks, Jack, lots of good stuff here. It would be interesting to get the full study to see what type of patron I would be (although I have a pretty good idea). You could probably sort TUSCL posters into these categories as well, lol. On a side note, do you find these stories at random, or do you have some bots searching for them?

Over time I've noticed two types of "regulars." First type is a regular of one particular girl, and comes in just to see and get dances from her. In that case, she may feel obligated to spend all her time with you while you're there. She could even be turning down dance offers from other guys that approach her on stage. Other dancers know you there just for her so they don't bother approaching you. Second type is being a regular of the club. You spread your time and money among several girls in the club, will often sit with and buy drinks for 2-3 dancers, so it's more of a party atmosphere, and catch as catch can as far as getting dances. Your favs know they are free to take a better offer (for dances, VIP, etc.) from other customers and you're free to tip and chat with other dancers. Sounds like you want to transition to the second type of regular. Some possible steps you could take: If you see a dancer on stage you're interested in, give you dancer some 1's and ask her to tip the other girl and invite her to join you at your table after her set. Buy drinks and chat up both girls. If dances aren't too expensive, you can do some double dancers with both girls. If you see guys tipping your dancer on stage and they look interested, let her know she's free to "make some money". You may have to spend some extra cash, but over time you should be able to transition gracefully.

Like Cashman said not that surprising. When I was on SA a certain female demographic - 35 to 45+, divorced or separated with a couple kids - just loved me! Got lots of messages and requests to meet up (hits from 20-something hotties, not so much). Problem was when I met up with them I wasn't that attracted to them, and even if I was, I got the vibe they were more interested in finding a replacement husband/father than just fooling around.

Had the chance numerous times - dancer takes off her heels and puts her feet in my lap, asks if I'll massage her feet - and never could bring myself to do it. Just the thought of her walking around all day in those stripper heels...

I'm in the jackslash camp (you other guys must be hard-assess, lol). Like Jack, I like to celebrate a fav's birthday, usually give them a nice card with a $50 inside, and have taken a couple out to dinner as well. One dancer even got very emotional, said her Mom had baked her a cake, but otherwise she hadn't gotten any birthday cards or gifts. I've also celebrated my birthday in the club with a fav, and always had a great time. Once when I went to pay my fav for a couple dances she stopped me, and said "that was your birthday present." Nice!

Once, after a particularly good VIP session, my fav said "That was really hot, I think I'll ask the bouncer for a copy of the tape."
