Dave Grohl reveals shocking reason he was denied entry to Pantera's strip club

"Grohl added that 4 years ago he was at a surf shop in Oxnard, and a female employee there asked if he was Dave Grohl. Grohl said he was, and the employee mentioned her parents owned the gas station in Barstow where he lost his wallet. She said they still had it, and they later sent it to Grohl with everything he had in it from 1998."

Interesting to think about what would be in your wallet from 1998.

Great story! Sucks that he didn’t get in. I’m guessing the door guy wasn’t a fan of the Foo Fighters. I would think Dave Grohl must get recognized everywhere.

From the snippet posted, I’m gonna guess that he wasn’t allowed in because he didn’t have ID on him.

That’s hardly “shocking”, so the title is clickbait, and probably filled with stuff I’d rather not see.
