ilbbaicnlKeep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
Are we more shallow or more honest?@Ilbbie-
Just because you're pudgy and homely, doesn't mean the rest of us are, too. I've been swimming and cycling since about age 10. In the case of my wife, she's still cute and works out every day.
Now I do have strong feelings that a spouse should be age-appropriate. No more than five years age difference for a spouse. While it's none of my business, I don't see how you can be married to someone decades younger and be happy. Is she going to be happy changing your diapers when you're in your seventies? It seems like a prescription for unhappiness. Most likely she'll end up cheating on you, and for good reason.
I feel sorry for all the unmarried guys on TUSCL who are paying for sex. What are you going to do when the inevitable happens -- when you get sick and you don't have someone who cares about you?
Cheating on your wife with someone decades younger is the ultimate act of selfishness and immorality. It's also meaningless sex, in my case.
As far as shallow and dishonest? That would apply to the old guys who pay for sex (strippers, SBs, etc) and don't understand that they're johns.

THIS JUST IN - Latest TUSCL News!!!!I'm not going to dwell on this @Tetra. It's easy enough to put @SJG on ignore, notify @Founder once, and forget about the issue.
But it's obvious that you derive some sort of satisfaction out of bashing someone with mental health issues, daily. Since you've posted about your own mental health issues, you should know better. As a substitute, you can go out on the street and kick homeless people.

Lol, @Warrior's like the arsonist who declares that he doesn't want any part of the fire after the last ember of the building is smoldering out.
For those of you who have endless gripes with SJG, I recommend:
(1) using ignore which takes about 1 microsecond or
(2) sending @Founder a PM or,
(3) joining @PaulDrake's moderated forum, or
(4) starting a forum of your own.
But none of the above options will happen because what's really going on in threads like this is an orgy of cyberbullying.

Yes they are trying to get rid of any differences between males and females"The radical lunatics specifically site "girls being pushed toward dressing up, dancing and baking" as especially harmful"
____________
Must be a winning strategy since college enrollment is now dominated by women -- 6 women for every 4 men in college. Slight majority of JDs and MDs are now female. Before long, your doctor, your attorney, and your boss will be female @Anderson, and you'll still be at home cooking, cleaning, and wanking off to Infowars.

Vaccine mandate protests causing havoc with air travel? You post such stupid shit, @SkiBirther. No matter what the topic, you find a way to bring up your own mindless bigotry and xenophobia into the discussion. BTW, a Lebanese immigrant working at Scripps Research in San Diego won the Nobel Prize in Medicine a few days ago.
Back on topic, I've had plenty of trouble with Southwest lately. Trip home from Hobby Houston, the ventilation system was pumping out what seemed like 125-degree heat. Everyone near me was freaking out as we were landing. That and constant delays; Southwest is very screwed up.

Vaccine mandate protests causing havoc with air travel?Direct quote from the OPs WSJ link:
"The problems started Friday evening, when severe weather in Florida prompted the Federal Aviation Administration to impose an air-traffic-management program, resulting in a large number of cancellations and leaving customers and crew members out of place, an airline spokesperson said Saturday."
The WSJ article doesn't mention any vaccine-mandate protest.

9 in 10 small business owners say there's a lack of qualified job applicants in "The US ranks 36th in math. (2018 rankings)"

We're a country of extreme wealth inequality and that translates to the classroom. I guarantee that the wealthy kids in Palo Alto or Los Altos, taking a max load of AP courses and getting private tutors, don't lag anyone in the world. Mix in the kids from cities like Compton or Hawthone and you get a low ranking overall.

Social Media Discovery "FB is about convincing you to do something you would otherwise not, to feel something you wouldn’t feel on your own. "
_____________________
Not quite. The issue is that machine-learning algorithms are used to present what appears on your FB news feed. For example, if you've been interested in climate denial in the past, you're more likely to get fringe anti-vaxxer content on your feed because the two are correlated. If FB algorithms determine that you're a rabid Trump supporter, you're more likely to get fringe stories about election audits. You get the idea...FB makes more money by matching content to your interests. The more inflammatory, the more it exists on the fringe, the more money FB makes.
That's why it might make sense to make FB responsible for it's content.

Social Media DiscoveryI've never had a Facebook account, not even a throwaway account. I've always thought of Facebook as a mindless --though benign-- waste of time.
But it's grown into something more sinister with over 3B members and advertising revenue of over $50B in the first half of the year. Facebook helped facilitate anti-vaxxer garbage, the insurrection on the Capitol, and provided a platform for teenage girls to feel miserable about their body image. Something needs to be done, but what?
I watched the whistle-blower interview on 60 minutes. That ex-Facebook data scientist should run for office.

Stock market and interest rates. Told you so!In today's NYT, Nobel prize winner Robert Shiller (behavior economists) points out that stocks, bonds, and real estate are all simultaneously and severely overvalued in a way that hasn't been seen in modern history:

There's no single factor that explains why -- except for the aggregate behavior of investors trading on popular narratives.

That's because @Muddy probably made it up to suit his agenda.
I'm including a sampling of SBs over the years: Three econ majors (it's one of the most popular undergrad majors), one pre-law, physical therapy, one interested in healthcare as an NP or PA (although I think her real goal was to be a trophy wife), one was completely aimless and lost.

Trolls@OP: "Or put another way, since we are pretty much all buying sex/sexuality at clubs (tricks) and the "strip club regular" demo skews old, isn't the fact that we are geriatric tricks kind of the point of TUSCL?"
________________
Yeah, that probably *is* the point of TUSCL. Most of the guys grow old gracefully and understand the difference between "dating" and paying for sex. But there's always a few that live in denial. The way I look at it, by being honest, we're saving them 10 years in therapy.
