Lots of guys don't know any better. They might have been very religious from a young age, or have low self-esteem, or don't care as long as she has a pussy. Others might be getting something strange on the side.

Anyway, I know guys who I believe truly love their plain spouses. Not everyone is wired like us, and that's probably just as well.

When I was in my 20's, I married a girl that at the time was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. Age has not been kind to her though. If I leave her, then I lose half. HALF ! Just because you're pudgy and homely, doesn't mean the rest of us are, too. I've been swimming and cycling since about age 10. In the case of my wife, she's still cute and works out every day.

Now I do have strong feelings that a spouse should be age-appropriate. No more than five years age difference for a spouse. While it's none of my business, I don't see how you can be married to someone decades younger and be happy. Is she going to be happy changing your diapers when you're in your seventies? It seems like a prescription for unhappiness. Most likely she'll end up cheating on you, and for good reason.

I feel sorry for all the unmarried guys on TUSCL who are paying for sex. What are you going to do when the inevitable happens -- when you get sick and you don't have someone who cares about you?

Cheating on your wife with someone decades younger is the ultimate act of selfishness and immorality. It's also meaningless sex, in my case.

I have changed - or reverted back to filth - over time. I thought I could be a legit dude with a decent wife and family. It felt good, and it was very fulfilling.

But, I got another taste of filth, several years into my marriage. I started drinking - and got lost in some deeply filthy habits - and it was very selfish.

I think that many men realize that marriage, family, real estate, etc. has relatively little to do with sex, esp after children. A: happiness It is a state of mind where the individual feels/believes that “life is good” to him, even with an “unhot” chick to others idea of hotness.
