I’m a regular daytimer and was the “opener” a many timers. Often got lunch if available. I also occasionally gave my ATF a ride to her day shift. I’d be the first extra session of the day, which I like.

We were able to go to the clubs in Windsor, OntarIo, across the river from Detroit, when we were 19. At one visit, my buddy yells, “hey, that’s ******!” The dancer was one of our high school classmates. We hadn’t seen her in a while, and by her appearance, she recently had a baby and dropped out of school. She got one look at us, and exited stage left. She was really embarrassed. No LDK from her that night! Wish I could run into her again sometime (it’s been decades), just to say hey, no big deal.

Like Sinclair, I clubbed infrequently for years — in Detroit, no less — without knowing about extras. Then I got a free extra at Henry the 8ths South, which I was unaware of its status as a strip club brothel. Didn’t even know about TUSCL for a couple years later. Then it was off to the races.

My ATF is “currently” retired, but we know how that works sometimes. My ATF was a little unstable — mostly from an unstable upbringing (and abusive husband) and past substance abuse. I’m happy that she’s a civvie now, and more stable. I don’t think she will ever be dethroned as my ATF. My VIP sessions with her were incredible and not likely surpassed by future dancers. We had a connection (at least in my mind) that many of us search for in TUSCL Land.

One time in Orleans about 30:years ago, I stumbled into a club in the French Corner, not on Bourbon Street. It was a daytime visit, and I think I was the only person there. A veteran dancer offered a HJ if I bought a bottle of champagne. She took me to a weird, small booth and did the deed. Didn’t finish the champagne. Doubt this place exists today.

I concur with the poster’s advice on investing the relatively small amount to check out the talent and bail quickly if you don’t like what you see here. You can then go down a level to Bogies or H8, or up a level to FC depending on your finances.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m in my late 50s, and had a slightly elevated blood test, but miraculously gone down. Going back to the urologist in November for, hopefully, another good result.

Old school club ... used to go here 25 years ago when it was somewhat mixed black and white. Amazing it is still in business.

My woman and I have have long had “hybrids” with good results, and she recently bought a Chevy Bolt (all electric). We do have a charger in the garage, but we don’t have a special setup, so an overnight charge may get you about 20 miles. We have found parking garages and other places where she can do a quick “fill up” and get about 150 miles. Charging stations are getting more ubiquitous in the Motor City, so with a little effort, you can plan for it. While I am not a battery or auto expert, I don’t think the electric vehicle as we know today will exist in 10 years. There will be some other technology (solar?) that will be better.

There is no known dress code here or at Bogarts.

It’s a blue collar joint, nice people work there. No problems with security in my many years there.
