Hotel Cascadas.. The new normal- A REAL review
Garfield84, thanks so much for making the trip and posting this interesting, well-written, and informative review. If one has never been here before, it might be hard to imagine the scene moving upstairs to the hotel, but having visited (pre-covid) more than a dozen times myself, I can really see how this could be a better set-up than the club itself.

Generational question
I used to hitchhike *all* the time during the early 1970s -- more times than I can remember. I don't think I ever did it locally for short hops. It was always long-distance trips, usually 200 miles (like home to college) or 500 miles (like college to Nashville TN). I didn't have a car (obviously), but there were always places I wanted to go and girls I wanted to see. Hitchhiked with different girlfriends several times and thought nothing of it. I always had my best luck getting rides when I had a guitar with me. It was a totally different scene back then. Easy to get rides, and very safe, though I did get picked up by drunks now and then. Once my girlfriend and I hitched from Boston to Amherst Mass and got picked up by some guy with space in the back of his open-bed pick-up. At one point, I glanced through the window and saw the jerk was going 100 mph. At least it wasn't raining. Would I do it today? Gotta be kiddin' me.

If Biden Wins
Getting back to the original question, as someone here said the VP would be appointed. This happened in 1973 when Spiro Agnew resigned as VP and Richard Nixon appointed Gerald Ford, a little-known but long-serving member of the House of Representatives from Michigan, to replace Agnew. When Nixon resigned in 1974, Ford became president. He ran for a second term in 1976, but lost, making Gerald Ford the only president we've ever had that was never elected to either position.

In general, I like this a whole lot. Thanks! However, as others have said, listing clubs by county is not helpful for anyone not familiar with the area -- nor is it accurate, which defeats the whole purpose. For instance, Greensboro is the third most populous city in North Carolina and is the county seat of Guilford County. However, the only cities listed here for Guilford County are Gilmer, High Point and Morehead. Greensboro has probably half a dozen strip clubs listed on TUSCL, several of which are regularly reviewed here (like the Treasure Club and Southside Johnny's). Anyone looking for those would never find them looking at your list. Similarly, Fayetteville (home to Fort Bragg) is the county seat of Cumberland County, and the only cities listed here for that county are Carvers Creek Township, Cross Creek, and some place called, apparently, Seventy-First. (WTF?) Someone using this function on TUSCL to look for clubs in Fayetteville would be out of luck -- even though TUSCL does have listings for Fayetteville clubs. Please consider listing the clubs by city, not county.

When was the last time you were in the back of a police car?
I was never in the back of a police car, but I did get busted by federal agents in June 1971 for possession of a third of an ounce of low-end Jamaican weed. I was 18 years old and 2,000 miles away from home, staying with friends in northern Washington. My buddy and I had spent the day in Vancouver, British Columbia, mostly in Stanley Park hanging with some cute Canadian girls. At the U.S.-Canadian border on the way back, my friend's long hair triggered some suspicion on the part of the U.S. border agents. They ordered us out of the car, searched through *everything* and found the weed, hidden in the toe of a boot with a sock stuffed in it. They took us inside, divided us up, marched us into separate rooms, and strip-searched us, each naked as a jay bird. Even though it was my friend's weed, I was the one they busted because it was my car. The United States of America owned the title to my car for about 45 minutes while I was trying to figure out how I was going to get home -- and what the hell I was going to tell my parents. Not a fun time. Ultimately, I had to pay a $100 fine, which was a lot of money back then, especially to an 18-year-old of limited means with no way to get more cash (no ATMs back then, and I didn't own a credit card). They also made me write an essay on why I thought they should give me back my car. In the end, I got the car back, but they kept the weed. Since then, other than getting more than my share of speeding tickets, I have somehow managed to lead a life which has been, thankfully, free of police interference. I plan to keep it that way.

Good talent but not my cup of tea
^ MrEddyG, they're really limo rides, not limo dances per se. A driver will take you out on the road for a specified length of time for a specific price, which includes the payment to the girl (exclusive of whatever extra optional tip you might want to give her). Complete privacy -- no one can see in the windows from the outside, day or night. Window between the driver and the back closes -- which entails a tip to the driver (WTF?) at TC but not at SSJ. What happens in the back is between you and the girl. Pro tip: Discuss your options with the girl ahead of time.

hlk20011, I've been to this place (though under a different name -- it's been several different names over the last six years or so), and you're right that there would not have been much mileage. Unfortunately, $30 per dance is the going rate in Greensboro, and floor dances are pretty much non-existent. If you want high mileage with your $30 dances (and who doesn't?), try Southside Johnny's, which is only 4 minutes away. It's not a high-end club by any means, but the mileage is considerable, with full two-way contact. It's NC's only nude club, so it's BYOB only. Dances there are done one of three ways: in a separate communal LD room (not usually crowded, fortunately), in a VIP space with a love seat and a heavy black privacy curtain, or in a limo. Since you said you "would've dropped a few hundred" at Cheetah, for that amount you would not have left SSJ's feeling disappointed. As Longball300 said in his approval of your review, you could try Treasure Club, which is also not far away. Mileage is not as good at TC as it is at SSJ, but the girls are definitely prettier at TC. Like SSJ, TC provides a 15-, 30-, or 60-minute limo ride, which is where your money will go the farthest.

Famous women that you just don't get why people think they're hot
I agree about Julia Roberts. Years ago, Rolling Stone did an extensive piece on her and included a photo from when she was in high school. Wow, she was *definitely* cute then. Judging from that photo, I think she may have had plastic surgery before she got famous. If that's true, it was a swing and a miss. Yer out.

Car 🚙 Sex
Like shadowcat, I had car sex a lot when I was a teenager with no other place to go. A whole lot. I never really liked doing it in a car, but it was better than *not* having sex. Way better. FWIW, cars were bigger back then. Especially my parents' station wagon. When I was a grad student, I lived with a woman who was a real nympho and liked having sex pretty much anywhere and everywhere. We did it in the library, in the bathroom at parties, outdoors by a mountain stream in the Colorado Rockies, stuff like that, all initiated by her. Apropos of the topic, she once surprised me by getting buck naked and mounting the gearshift knob on the console in my Toyota Corolla, reverse-cowgirl style. And yes, I was driving at the time, way out on the back roads among the cornfields in the Midwest. Said she loved the vibrations. Had several orgasms, as I recall. Mine came later.

dabigtipper, it *was* a duplicate, the definition of which is "a copy exactly like the original." If it's submitted twice, the second one shows up a duplicate of the first, which is why I rejected the second one. Apparently you think that "duplicate" must mean you copied someone else's review. No one is saying you did that. For the record, I was the first one to approve your review. I then marked the second one as a duplicate and rejected it as being unnecessary. I meant no disrespect.

Retirement
I retired from my full-time career last September, but with an ulterior motive that only TUSCLers will understand, I created a paid, part-time, work-from-home executive position that requires that I go to Atlanta a few times a year on the employer's dime. However, if Follies doesn't survive the downturn, I will quit that job. I like the work, but not as much as I love Follies (and the rest of the Atlanta clubs are not enough of a draw for me).

Outdoor Sex
While it's been several decades since I had sex outdoors, I used to do it all the time when I was a teenager -- especially before I got my drivers license at age 16 -- because as a kid living at home, being out in the woods, or by a secluded lake, at an abandoned quarry, or in the middle of a midwest cornfield was practically the only way to get any privacy with a teenage girl (also living at home). I continued to seek outdoor opportunities through my 20s or 30s, even after I got married. Most daring was probably the time my wife and I had sex in the pool at a motel in Joplin, MO. Probably had sex (in one form or another) outdoors more than 100 times. Nothing like it.

Unpopular Opinion: Most Girls look better in normal clothes...
There are a ton of "clothed vs. nude" comparisons online, like https://xhamster.com/videos/clothed-and-nude-video-photos-collection-4-3855005 . Some look better clothed, but I think a lot look better nude. It's a mixed bag, to be sure, but interesting to see the comparisons.

How long has it been since you visited a strip club or met a stripper OTC.
Friday, March 13. I got lucky that day. Probably my last bit of luck for some time, though.
