Definitey Not Kansas

I visited Oz twice on the same day while in the area, once during the day and then again at night. I arrived for the day shift visit a little after 4:30 on Friday. There was no cover. I can’t remember if there was a temperature check, which was done at night. A sign outside said masks were required, but once inside none of the customers were wearing them, and dancers mostly wore them under their chin.

Oz is an upscalish club, although not super Ritzy. The custom made brass handles for the double door entrance to the club are a nice touch. The left handle is a large O and the right handle is a large Z formed to look like a kneeling girl. Very artsy looking and, as it turned out, prophetic.

Oz is a pretty decent size club, built as a split-level. The higher level is to the left, with seating and the bar toward the rear. There is also a small satellite stage at the left end of the higher level. To the right and down a couple of steps is the main stage, which consists of three sections. The girls rotate from the small satellite stage and then through each of the three sections on the main stage to complete a dance set.
