I see on Google Maps that the new location is right next to a place called Bad Axe Throwing. The 2AMers could get very nasty.

Great informative review; thanks for posting it. I guess the ridiculously high prices reflect what happens when there's only one strip club in a golfing mecca like Southern Pines.

lolbasedgoddddd, thanks for coming back to add some details. Now that you've gotten VIP status for four weeks, you can read some reviews and comments and learn what members here like to know. In general, reviews written about visits that were more than a few weeks or months ago seem so much less relevant -- especially during the pandemic, since "mileage" with the girls and other details can be drastically different from what they used to be. Trouble with law enforcement or a change in management -- both things that can happen unexpectedly -- can also drastically affect the value proposition of a future visit. Details about the recency of your visit, costs (parking, cover, drinks, dances, and VIP), Covid protocols, and the ethnicities and overall quality of the girls are always appreciated. For a host of reasons, we recommend against connecting info about actual services offered with names of the girls providing them, and you handled that well in your review. Have a good return trip to Florida, and come back with some more reviews. We will appreciate hearing from you.

I am not saying that this is a club ad, but a few things don't add up. This is the only review by someone who just joined TUSCL in the last few days. Details are scant. No mention of Covid procedures in place, so it's not clear when the visit was. The reviewer said, "I wont describe the inside because that has been taken care of many reviews in here." Actually, the club has recently completed an extensive remodeling, which 54kevin described in his excellent review from last month. The next most recent review of this club is from a visit last January, so none of the "many reviews" would have accurately captured the description. Just sayin'.

^Ditto what minnow said. Overall, I think the site looks and works great. The only thing I'm not wild about is the initial Photos page (the Photo Gallery), where you can only see a sliver of each photo. I would rather see a complete thumbnail, even if it's small, to get a sense of whether it's worth clicking on. Other than that, I think the new changes are great. Thanks, founder, for all your hard work on this site.

Great review, ime -- I really appreciate your taking the time to post it. I was afraid COVID might kill this place off, so I'm glad to hear they've found a way to keep things going.

I love the new layout! However, I have to agree with @himoverthere about getting rid of the listings by county, which is useless to almost anyone except those who are already familiar with the area. Other than that, the site works well and looks awesome!

Great review -- very informative for someone who has not yet had the chance to check it out. Thanks for taking the time to include so many details.

1. Are you someone who looks for extras or use to? I love the whole scene. I always look forward to getting extras, but I am not necessarily disappointed if it doesn't happen. 2. How old were you going to your 1st club visit? I was 20, at college in Boston. My roommate did the tech work at the notorious Pilgrim Theatre (not a club, per se, but a live stage show) and said I should come check it out. My girlfriend at the time was also curious. I asked him if he thought it might be too risque to bring her, and he said, "They don't do anything that isn't allowed by law." We went and were both surprised that the only thing the girls were required to wear were high heels, and by the end of each dancer's set they were on their backs and spread-eagled on stage. Very eye-opening for both of us. We went back to the dorm and fucked like rabbits. 3. Do you go alone? I have met about 35 TUSCLers in my travels (including several of the women who post here), but probably 95% of my visits are done solo. Fewer distractions that way. lol 7. Does your family or friends know you love strippers? Outside of my TUSCL friends, there is only *one* person who knows about my love for this hobby -- a woman who cut my hair for about 10 years. I was telling her about a business trip I was about to make to Atlanta when she stopped cutting for a moment and said, "I don't know if this is your thing, but, you know, they have an awful lot of strip clubs there." She started to tell me about some clubs she visited there once, and I decided to let her know just how familiar I already was with those clubs -- and more. She is a very attractive blonde and totally bisexual, and we have since had *many* conversations on the topic. 8. Do you participate in OTC or want to? Yes, I have done that and am open to doing more. 9. Favorite song to get a lap dance to? In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida -- not the single, but the 20-minute version. lol 10. Do you think how a girl gives a lapdance promotes how good she is in bed? As others have said, I think the correlation is not that exact, but in general, a great lapdance is probably a better indicator than a lousy one.

Papi said, "I assume this is coming from someone that is not a monger and mostly talking out of his ass (again I didn't listen to the podcast so my opinion may be displaced)." I only heard the second half of the podcast earlier today (I will listen to the whole thing tomorrow), but all the speakers I heard were women who worked in the trade -- real strippers -- and liked the work. It was a pretty interesting discussion.

Gammanu95, I have been to all the areas you mentioned, and I would have to say that to me, the thing that distinguished Follies -- from those and virtually all other U.S. clubs I've been to -- is that while the VIP activities might have been comparable to other clubs, the $10 full-nude lap dances at Follies were often absolutely off the charts in terms of two-way contact. Anything was possible. Anything. I would be interested in hearing from others as to what clubs in the U.S. might compare in terms of lap dances like that -- and for that price. I have been going to Follies for 21 years, and as far as I can recall, the price of a lap dance has always been $10. An unbelievable value.

A sad day indeed. I have visited clubs all over North America, but none as often as Follies -- and I don't live anywhere near it. I discovered it in 1999 and never had a bad time there. Hard to imagine that any other club in the U.S. will ever come as close to what Follies offered, consistently and at a decent price. RIP.

As I've matured, I find I'm attracted to a much broader spectrum of body types, and Eve, the way you described how your tastes have changed very closely mirror the changes I've seen on my own tastes. One thing is certain: Though I find women of all races attractive, over the years I've discovered, much to my delight, just how much I *really* love black women.
