Lady Gaga (super talented, but ugh) J Lo (not J Law) Lilly Collins - cannot get past the eyebrows Kristen bell was hot a while back. Not so much now. But that can be said about most women.

  Melanie Griffith. She can ruin virtually any movie for me, and has done so many times. Susan Sarandon. She played a flakey borderline likable character in Bull Durham, which was the only thing that saved her performance. Outside that movie, no. Just no. JLo, Beyonce, Kim K and that whole thick booty crowd. I'm not their audience and never will be, but really? Angelina Jolie was attractive at least before she decided Skeletor was the look for her.

From this thread, agreed with Chrissy Teigen, Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker. Vehemently disagree with Kristen Bell, J-Lo, Jennifer Aniston (really???). Kind of agree with Scarlett Johanssen, she's very hit and miss. I'll add one to the list: Jessica Biel. Just don't see it. Regarding not aging well, I give you Kelly McGillis.

  I feel like a lot of the listed females mentioned in this thread (not all) boil down to being more “girl hot” than “guy hot”. By “girl hot” I mean it’s somebody attractive and has a sense of style. But maybe doesn’t have the quality of being as “fuckable”. For example, Sarah Jessica Parker is known for a sense of style and great hair and clear skin. And she’s most well known for chick-flicks like Sex and the City. Megan Fox had a certain amount of sultry and a bad bitch aspect to her and is someone who is “guy-hot”. Sarah Jessica Parker had a play-nice image and Megan Fox talked about before that it was difficult for her making friends (especially female friends) Lizzo is an obvious example of girl-hot who was able to be portayed as a dancer in the Hustlers movie, despite that she would be laughed out of any Manhattan Club audition if she tried IRL. But hey, in fantasy chick flicks, somebody who can make it as girl-hot can cross over to guy-hot as well. Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie were both able to toe the line of being both “girl-hot” and “guy-hot” at the same time in the public eye it seemed. But even then, I think Aniston leaned more “girl-hot”. Jolie leaned more “guy-hot” And all that was why the public went especially apeshit over the Bradgelina thing. Saga battle of the “pretty” vs “sexy” It’s tough to be both.

  I agree about Julia Roberts. Years ago, Rolling Stone did an extensive piece on her and included a photo from when she was in high school. Wow, she was *definitely* cute then. Judging from that photo, I think she may have had plastic surgery before she got famous. If that's true, it was a swing and a miss. Yer out.

On Julia Roberts, if you look at the dinner scene in Notting Hill, supposedly her character pointing out her plastic surgeries are actually Julia Roberts' surgeries. If I recall, nose, chin and eyes. And yes I would do nay of them, except Kelly McGillis and Barbra Streisand. McGillis was hot 30 years ago and Streisand has been homely for almost a century.

  Chrissy Teigen. Fuck is she ugly. Does anyone actually think Lady Gaga is attractive? I think it's more about her talent, gimmicks, and antics than physical beauty. Watch Jaime Lee Curtis and her big, beautiful, natural tits in Trading Places, and her more MILFtastic strip tease in True Lies, and you will understand why so many find her so attractive. Not any Kardashian, ever. I've tried, but I can't see it. Jolie was hot in her 60 seconds/Lara Croft prime, but lost waaaay too much weight.   Years ago I met and spent hours with a very popular Hollywood sex symbol who was donating her time to a worthwhile charity event. I won’t name her (she’s not on this thread) because she was an absolute sweetheart and very down to earth but the truth is she was quite frumpy body wise and shockingly plain in the face. I seriously wouldn’t look twice at most of the women named in this thread even with their professionally done airbrushed looks much less at what they must look like in real life.

  @nicespice - Re: Angelina Jolie. Guys were smitten with the Lara Croft video game character long before the movie came out. That might sound weird, but it's certainly not uncommon. It was much the same with the Jessica Rabbit cartoon character in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I remember playing Tomb Raider (I think on PS2 back then?) and all we could think/talk about was if there was a real-life woman like Lara Croft, how fuckin' hot she would be. To her credit (and the makeup artists and wardrobe people) Angelina made a really good Lara Croft, but at least half the infatuation with the actress at that time was the feeling like she was a "fantasy come to life." I'm not saying she wasn't a good-looking woman, and I'm not even so sure she belongs on this list, but the only time I ever thought she looked genuinely smokin' hot was in the Tomb Raider movies, more because of the character than the actress. Let's face it, the long pony tail and those H&K .45s strapped to her thighs did a lot for the overall look. Other than that, she's just okay for me.

  So a female look bashing discussion. Yay... I wonder if Cardi B and Lady Gaga are even actually considered hot by many people. Amazing what fame and money can do for you. Also are we being a little bit hard on the "butter" faces? Or is a pretty face an absolute requirement for being hot? Because most of these girls listed have some butter in the face. The bodies are a whole nuther story... I remember watching two movies in the mid 90s. One was Beautiful Girls and the other was The Truth About Cat And Dogs. If you still haven't figured it out, the "hottie" in both of these movies was Uma Thurman. It was amusing to me that all the guys and even the girls in both of these movies would fawn all over her and i would think those were some of the worst brainwashing attempts i've ever seen. I'm not saying that she was unattractive, but i didn't get it. Still don't. This was also repeated in Kill Bill to a degree. Or how about that scene in the Dark Knight where the Joker tells Maggie Gyllenhaal "You are beautiful."? I heard that at one of the showings, some dude in the audience then immediately yelled out "LIAR!" and got a bunch of laughs...

Cute with a boring body. Emelia Clark is also a 7 people pretend is a 10. SJP was attractive in her youth but age hit her hard (maybe because she skipped plastic surgery?). Don Johnson and Antonio Bandares could get like anybody but that's who they went with alrighty then. I expected to hear some Drew Barrymore but I thought she was really hot in the wedding singer. Surprised to see Kim Kardashian, JLo and Beyoncé. I'm not really of fan of their work but at one point they were incredibly hot to me. To each his own. It just goes to show how wildly different we rate some of these girls.

  do we all see girls in strip clubs that are prettier than all of the above entertainers above? yes do we all see model types that blow away each and every single one of the above? yes do we see girls that on those cheerleader tournaments prettier than above? yes or how about the U.S. actresses that are lesser known? or how about pretty entertainers in other parts of the world? see throughout the whole entire entertainment industry the ones that are the heads of each field (music, movies, tv, etc) are concerned about who can carry their vehicles and make the most amount of money. so these chief execs are going to constantly keep using all of the above girls because they have proven way more often than not they are money in the bank. as a result you don't much to really choose from in the hotness department. whenever i watch a tv show or a movie the girls i often notice the most are the ones in the background. the extras in scenes. i always question, "why can't they let that piece of ass in the background be the major star instead?"

There are women 10x hotter -- in a classic beauty sense -- than even the hottest female leads. Why? Why aren't the hottest actresses the ones who are "money in the bank"? Shouldn't their hotness make them even more money in the bank? Or, as you yourself asked, "why can't they let that piece of ass in the background be the major star instead?" I mean, even models that make it as actresses, aren't the hottest models (cue Milla Jovovich). There's a few exceptions who prove the rule (for me, young Halle Berry hits it), but I'm not sure there's any model-beautiful leading ladies, and exceptions are rare. I suspect there's an answer to this, and that answer is: for whatever reason, audiences don't take to those impossibly beautiful women in those roles. We are okay with them as supporting actresses, we love them as models and instagram influencers (and in our collective case, strippers). But there's a direct cause-and-effect here: the most gorgeous classically beautiful women aren't appealing as leading ladies in movies, just supporting actresses, character actresses, mean girls, etc. Just a dopey theory after thinking about this for 2 minutes. And I'm not even stoned lol.

For example, Helen Hunt, Annette Benning, Julianne Moore, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Thompson, Hilary Swank, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard . . . Not a pure 10 in the bunch (IMO) but there's some 8+ there and with top notch acting talent

  In 2013 People Magazine named actress Gwyneth Paltro the world's most beautiful person, I don't consider her the most beautiful person in the Iron Man movies she was costaring in. There is a huge difference between being hot and being a popular entertainer or celebrity. I did not find Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears or Katie Perry hot but I understand while they were popular. I did not find Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, or Courtney Cox hot but I like watching Friends (for the comedy, not for the eye candy). I would not pay to watch Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock in a movie because they are hot but because they are good actresses.

I think she is pretty, but not like top 10 hot, where is gets ranked in some lists.
