I'm with FishHawk, too. I like the young ones just fine, but I've known a number of dancers in their 40s and 50s who have absolutely rockin' bodies and -- to steal a line from ZZ Top -- "they know how to use them." My CF is 46, amazing, and still makes money. I won't give her age away, but Andrea at the Playhouse Lounge could easily pass for 20-25 years younger than she is, still has a great body, and she is one of the most sensual dancers around. She's a great kisser, too.

Great review, doc, and spot-on accurate about every detail. I like this place. I was in Memphis on business about 18 months ago and visited a handful of clubs over a two- or three-day period. Of the ones I checked out, this was the only club I visited twice.

I visited a club yesterday, but it was a calculated move on my part, as I figured better sooner than later, when the predicted 70% of us are hit with the corona virus. The club is very small, somewhat rural in nature, with a very low number of patrons and dancers, neither of which would be likely to travel outside of the small-ish county they're in. No corona virus cases reported there yet. I wasn't going to write a review, but maybe I should so the rest of you have something to read! lol

I always use US currency in Tijuana, but I'll be making a trip to Montreal at the end of April and plan to take Canadian currency with me. Last week I stopped at my local bank (Suntrust) to inquire about their process. They charge a flat conversion fee of $10 for any amount I want to exchange, and asked that I give them three or four days' advance notice. Seemed reasonable and convenient to me. And worth it not to use US dollars because of the current rate of exchange and the fact that, as davephx pointed out, with US dollars "you will pay about 25% more since they usually just take it at par." In my limited experience several years ago, the downtown Montreal clubs were relatively low mileage. However, escorting is legal there, and they'll come right to your hotel. I spent about an hour last week browsing the online escort directories, and the choices looked amazing. "Hmm, maybe I'll take one of those, and one of those, and OMG, that one for sure..." The listings in the directories usually spell out the girls' services quite explicitly (the services can vary a lot), and many list their hourly rates -- some in Canadian dollars *and* in US dollars. Others say "Contact for rates." Most of the rates listed looked quite reasonable, and some were less for an hour than what you'd pay for a 30-minute VIP at Follies. Have fun!

nicespice, it's not like I've undertaken a systematic look at all the listings. Every morning as I read through the past day's reviews I look at the clubs' addresses. Some I know are right. Some I doubt are right, and some I'm just curios about (since so many have been wrong) so I check them against what Google Maps Street View shows. It's a quick process, and after while the correct versions become more numerous than the faulty ones. I don't have to check every single one. Follies get reviewed just about every day, and I know that the address is right because I know that one by heart. And so does my GPS. lol I never set out to check every single address in the TUSCL pantheon of club listings, nor can I. I'm a little obsessive, maybe, but I'm not crazy. I just figure over time I'll make at least a little bit of a difference. My suggestion is that contributors here could just eyeball the addresses they see in listings once in a while and check if you think something might be wrong. It's not perfect, but if you correct a few now and then, it's still gonna be helpful.

Thanks, Founder, et al. I pretty much only club while traveling around the country, so, not being super-familiar with the clubs (or totally unfamiliar), I really rely on the addresses. While browsing TUSCL reviews each morning, it doesn't take me long to do a quick check of an address on Google Maps' Street View; reporting updates is easy, and Founder is great about working through the updates quickly. Yes, lots and LOTS of addresses are wrong. Sometimes the address is off by just the last digit -- which usually means I'm looking for a club on the wrong side of the street. Other times, the addresses are WAY off. The other day, the address that was listed for one club placed it in the middle of a river! Anyway, rather than bitch about the incorrect addresses, I decided I'd just make this my contribution to all the other wayward mongers like me who really need accurate info. I am grateful to anyone else who takes up the challenge.

PSD said, "Atlanta requires a license for each individual club that costs $450." Shadowcat recently confirmed that Follies does not require dancers to have a license to work there. Just sayin'.

FTS, I have purchased and used the VIP card on a number of visits I've made. If you live close enough to use it on multiple visits with the three months the card is good, it's especially useful. Since I live on the East Coast, my trips are infrequent enough that I have to buy a card every time. The discount on the rooms for Monday and Tuesday night (used to be 80% off, now 70%, and 20% off other nights) is something I've been able to take advantage of most times I've been able to make the trip. It also gets you into the club free, gets you a free drink and half-price lap dance every day, plus some other benefits which are listed on the website. As for whether it's worth the expense depends on what you want to do, how long you plan to stay, and maybe which days (because of the steep discount on rooms Mon & Tue). If you're not interested in taking any girls upstairs, it may not be worth it. If you only want to take one girl upstairs, the rooms are like $17 or $18 for 30 minutes, so that's cheaper than paying $50 for the card. Even if you don't plan to stay overnight, it might be worth getting a room, which allows you to take a series of girls upstairs, or rest up between sessions, shower, use a private bathroom, etc. Also, with your own room, you don't have to worry about a knock at the door when your 30 minutes are up with the hottie you can't seem to get enough of. Bottom line: Just do the math and see whether by paying the $50 you'd be money ahead or money behind.

PSD, you said "the same basic rules exist everywhere in the country." Actually that's not true -- the "rules" actually vary a lot from one local jurisdiction to another. And it's rarely governed by state law, just local ordinance. I stopped going to clubs in Nashville a long time about because they had this stupid ordinance that said dancers had to be either (I forget) three or six feet from the person they were dancing for. Some of the clubs actually had tape on the floor of the LD room marking the distance. I was once in a California club near LAX that was similar. Drive 45 minutes east from LAX to City of Industry and they just laugh at stuff like that.

^^^ For me, same as what RTP said. I travel a lot and don't/can't club locally, so initially I came for club intel in places I may not have ever been. In the process of reading tons of reviews, I learned I needed to be spending more (LOL), so I upped my game considerably and have been amply rewarded. I have met more than three dozen male and female TUSCLers around the country (and in Tijuana) and have made some great friends because of it. Many thanks to all who post here.

I once had to undergo a *very* thorough pat-down by TSA at O'Hare in Chicago because my wallet had been just been stolen and I had no ID of any kind. He said, we can do this here, or go to a private room. I pointed to an attractive female TSA officer nearby and said, "Can I have *her* do it?" No, I didn't actually say that -- but you know I wanted to. Instead, I said, No let's do this right here. And then there was the time I was totally strip-searched coming back into the U.S. at the Canadian border... but that's a story for another time, boys and girls. No woman should be forced to be searched by a male, and even when a woman does the searching, there should be another person in the room.

Absolutely excellent, spot-on advice from mongo1964, especially the observation that the mesero latched onto you because you tipped so well. Everything you said he told you was designed to maximize getting high tips from you. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but mongo1964 nailed the reason he was glued to you.

I noticed that when you look at the list of strip clubs by state, what pops up is a long list of every single city in that state whether they have strip clubs or not. When you click on a city, it looks like what you get is a listing of the nearest clubs, no matter what city they're in. Seems useful, but it's weird. I do think it's an improvement over what was in place just a while ago which listed only a few locations, where, for example, in California one of the listed options was a place called "Inland Empire." Natives may know which cities that encompasses, but I'm from the East Coast and while I have a general idea of that area, I'm not that sure how far that extends. I assume the change in club addresses must have resulted from a download of all cities from a different database. Founder, care to comment?

Another spot-on review from one of our most observant and trusted reporters. I have been to this club twice -- with Papi Chulo -- and I can corroborate every detail he listed. As he said, this place may or may not be for you, but if you read this review, you should know *exactly* what you're getting into.

Over the last five years, I have met probably three dozen other TUSCLers in clubs coast to coast. That's fun -- I really like being able to put faces with TUSCL names, and I have made some good friends in the process. That said, probably 95% of my clubbing is done solo, and I am completely comfortable doing that. Since my focus is on the girls, I would never bring a non-TUSCLer with me. TUSCLers are different, in that they can easily understand what I'm there for and will forgive me if I suddenly disappear for 30 minutes.
