WTFlock got it exactly right!
Up 8, in field goal range, late 4th quarter. You run the ball 3 times (twice between the tackles). Your burn 1.5 minutes of clock. Then your all-pro FG kicker kicks the clinching FG to put you up 11. Game over.
The only 3 things that could hurt you would be:
1. sack
2. pick
3. penalty.
1. and 3. happened opening the door for NE and the, grudgingly, GOAT Brady to steal a win.

For me, it is the cumulative impact of all of the above.
1. Frankly, with all the "safety" rules, it is not as exciting.
2 It is too expensive for the average fan to see a live game -- ever -- even preseason and especially post-season.
3. I don't know the players -- they move around too much.
4. Hey NFL, stop thinking that your celebrity and wealth entitles you to lecture me on politics or anything else (that goes for all sports and all entertainers from Hollywood to Broadway and everywhere in between).
I greatly prefer college!!

What kind of clown openly opines about his "future legacy" mid-career?
Legacy is for OTHERS to determine AFTER you retire. That he is voicing concern over his own perceived future legacy is more evidence of how self-absorbed he is.

LeBron is a typical entitled millennial. He thinks because he has talent that he is entitled to win and deserves to be surrounded with talent. LeBron wouldn't have survived the Bad Boys or the Knicks or the Bulls or the Celtics or the Lakers or the Jazz of the 80s/90s.
You're not entitled to a championship just cuz your good -- just ask Patrick Ewing and Barkley and Karl Malone and John Stockton and on and on.
STFU and play with what you have.
PS Georgemicro is correct -- college hoops is superior entertainment! The top 20 this year are super fun to watch.

Charles has a point. Instead of whining that your teammates aren't good enough (or jumping from team to team looking for better teammates), just STFU and play with what you are given, if you are so great.
MJ hated Bill Cartright. Disliked Toni Kukoc. Mistrusted (if not hated) Dennis Rodman. Just shut up and win.

I agree with the viewpoint that they either do or do not. There is little convincing to do or worth attempting.
As long as your offer meets their minimum, you're in. Offering more only establishes a new minimum for your future and maybe for the rest of us. Never more than $200, even for Vegas casino girls! Any more than that is the golden pussy syndrome -- don't feed the animals.
Stick to your guns, stick together. No over paying! Accept that some will and some won't. If they won't, move on and find one that will.

I would argue that things may be better for the 15% at the bottom and at the top. However, the 70% in the middle -- not so much. With a few exceptions, Hillary lost the middle class vote that was solidly Obama 8 years ago.
Doug -- your point about the economic precipice is well taken. The financial markets were at a tipping point in 2008. Financial engineering righted the ship, for sure. But I don't image many middle class citizens would say they are in better shape than they were 8 years ago. Based on how many strip malls are deserted today, Main Street is not any better than it was 8 years ago. If middle class members ARE doing better, it hasn't much to do with anything the federal government has done. If anything, the financial crisis simply discouraged middle class spending and middle class debt is somewhat more under control than before.
That is to say, middle class debt NOT attributable to student loans is more under control. Student loans are at higher levels than at any time in human history.
I still maintain that Obama's dislike is because his mission of hope and change has mostly not materialized.
Don't misunderstand, I'm not sure Trump will succeed in changing hopefulness any more than Obama. Too much bureaucratic bullshit, regulation and red tape. Too much partisan bickering. Too little governing. Too little statesmanship.

The United States is less well thought of on the world stage than at any point since 1940. The Obama administration turned its back on our long standing allies and begin its 8 years with its world-wide apologizing campaign around the globe (by the way, with Hillary as SOS).
Race relations in the United States are worse than any time since 1967. Rather than act as the country's leader and defend the rule of law and the noble profession of law enforcement, this administration rode the fence for the past 3 years resulting in BLM vs. LE all over the country -- even areas where no problems existed until Ferguson.
Hillary lost because she ran on continued Obama promises of "Hope" and "Change." After 8 years, little has changed and the country's mood is less hopeful than it was 8 years ago. Trump represents the change du jour. If change is not forthcoming, Trump will be a 1-term president.

Especially agree with comment about $15/hour burger flippers -- I don't want to pay $9 for a crappy burger because some government dickhead decided the teenager doing the flipping deserves $15. Not every job is designed to provide a living wage. Make something of yourself, get a better job, move on and create an opportunity for the next teenager in line!

Best of Obama: Killing bin Laden
Worst of Obama: Lack of support for police and lack of leadership regarding recent racial strife.
With respect to economy improving on his watch, most of credit goes to fed pumping cheap money by lowering interest rates. Not anything POTUS did himself, directly.

Feels like the witch hunt of Bill Clinton for 8 years. Come to think of it, feels like the witch hunt of BHO, too.
Better plan is to accept the result, learn something and legislate instead of obfuscate.

Perhaps the bottom line, TL;DR for me is this: in the year 2000, San Francisco was arguably the best SC city in the country, with arguably not one but two of the top-10 clubs in the country, including one club that put together an experience that may never be matched by any other, ever. Today, I don't disagree with the guys here that SF is one of the worst cities for PLs, and a huge reason for this is Deja Vu. Period, end of story. (end of TL;DR)
SF Sucks now. DJV killed it. (Mic drop).

I agree with the above commentary -- forget Pahrump, forget the escorts and forget the strip clubs.
It costs you two nothing to approach any woman sitting alone at any hotel casino bar on the strip. Without exaggeration, I have met casino girls at literally 18 different strip hotels in Vegas over the years -- I just counted them up. I'm telling you, there is a better than 50-50 chance she will rent her time, especially if she is dressed sexy and has a small purse. They're remarkably easy to spot, once you get the hang of looking. The nicer the hotel, the hotter the woman and the more expensive her time will be. Simply find your price point.
Just stand next to her and try to make eye contact. If she speaks to you first - game on. If not, just say "hi". If she turns toward you and says anything more than "hi" - game on. That is especially true if she is youngish & hot and you are older-ish & not. Think about it -- why else would she?
You can ask her any number of leading questions (Been getting lucky? Having any fun? etc.). If she is for rent, she'll ask you what you are looking for. Or what you're up to. At that point, wave your wife over and tell her that you two were hoping to watch 2 beautiful women enjoy each other in your room. If she agrees, ask for her hourly rate. She'll quote you and set that up for you so fast your head will spin. There is probably another woman in the casino she can call right on the spot. Notice that you didn't ask for anything explicitly sexual -- no need -- it is understood.
Write back and tell us how it goes!

I am truly sorry that I don't have good news for you.
If sex with wifey is lacking after only 10 years, be afraid, be very afraid. Having been there, done that, let me tell you -- it doesn't get better. Every year, it will get a little worse. And worse. And worse . . . your resentment will only grow.
Your choices now are:
1.. Divorce ASAP
2. Suggest counseling -- is there an underlying issue preventing her from being more sexually satisfying/satisfied? Could be physiological. Could be emotional. Could be you (and she just can't find the words to tell you). Could be a symptom of a deeper issue unrelated to physicality.
3. If irreconcilable sexually, reach an agreement that she either step up her game (just servicing you) or support your SC visits in the spirit that it is NOT cheating. Maybe she can be convinced to join you.
4. Sneak around for the next 20 years or so and don't get caught. Only spend cash which you have siphoned away surreptitiously. Never miss anything on the home-front of any consequence. Rationalize that your visits are the only thing saving an otherwise mutually beneficial marriage. As the sex with wifey will get less frequent and less satisfying through the years, eventually you will discover the rewarding world of SC extras and you'll never go back to just looking. Continue until your sex drive diminishes to that of a pet rock.
Sadly, I'm going on more than a decade as #4. My last bingo w wife was 25 months ago (not that I am counting or anything). Many days, I regret my choices, but, at my age, I am not sure that there is another way to go for me. I am waiting for pet rock-time. Still going strong . . .
You're young and you have options!
If this is a serious thread -- take a beat and think through what you think you can handle for the long run before you wake one morning and have 25 years of "wedded bliss" behind you.

Without causing a major shock (in terms of unemployment skyrocketing), it would take 10+ years to trim the federal payroll by 1,000,000 jobs. More realistically, institute a hiring freeze and trim every departments budget by 5%. Let them figure out if the savings comes from spending more economically or downsizing the fat or both. Over 8 years, shrink the government size through attrition and systematic small budget cuts.
