Dancer has no expectation of me buying dances
It's a ploy to get you in the door hoping you'll buy dances because it's slow. If she's interested in dating you she'll ask to meet for coffee outside the club

She's texting while I'm going down on her
Texting instead of paying attention to me is a huge turn off, I generally filter those out first, but sometimes they get through... When that happens, I end things and don't pay her.

How long does it take for a dancer to remember you?
It happens all the time, and I use it as a clue to separate the pros from the amateurs. If you spend at least the average amount of cash on her the first visit, if she's a pro, you just got filed into the potential regular list. If she's not a pro, very unlikely that she'll remember you after one regular visit.

    Dancer Pricing
If all she's gonna do is dance for you topless, $10 a dance is it, maybe upwards of $20 per in a high end club, otherwise if I'm going to pay more, I expect more. Incidentally, I recently had a stripper locked down for her entire shift and paid $10 per. In the end, she got $400 for her efforts. The only time she wasn't dancing for me was when she had to go on stage and when her or I needed to take a quick bio-break... So, for an average shift with decent hustle, and no VIP, at $10 per song, a stripper can clear upwards of $400 per shift plus or minus a bit depending on how long she wants to make her shift. If she's a pro and works a reasonable schedule of 5 shifts a week, she can average roughly $2000 a week before payouts and tax. If she manages to work 50 weeks a year at that average, she can clear about $100K a year. Not bad, but not really that great either considering the reality of having a $400 shift every shift is actually really difficult to do. The reality is that most strippers don't make anywhere near that. On average, most strippers go home with a couple hundred dollars on most days. They have good days, but most days are in the $100-$200 range, which is what drives them to do extras. Being a stripper doesn't pay nearly as much as think it might.

    What would you do?
Sorry to hear that. I have a rule that has served me well: when a relationship ends, it's over. Never go back. People can change, but not very much. In this particular scenario, you are her backup plan. I know it's hard to hear, but you are not her plan A, you are at best plan B or C. She is telling you what she thinks you want to hear. She will be with you until she finds something better. Do you really want that? The best thing to do is to make her sleep in the bed she made.

    Strippers vs Escorts
Escorts are more difficult to initially find a good one, but once you do, they are better than strippers. With Strippers, you get to test drive them, but spend more money initially to find one that will play. It evens out in the end. Strippers are more fun though because you can stop in and hang out with hot chicks.

When Rhode Island accidentally legalized prostitution, rape decreased sharply
Actually, it's the other way around, at the federal level, prostitution has never been illegal. It's at the state/county/city level that it's made illegal, so, in Nevada, only a few counties have not made it illegal. Everywhere else, it's had laws and ordinances passed to make it illegal. This is why whenever you hear of a multi-state prostitution ring get busted up, the charges are almost always child/human trafficking, or money laundering from an illegal enterprise (from the trafficking), etc, and not actually any prostitution charges. It's always a city, county, or state charge if you get stung on prostitution.

    Loose pussy
Loose pussy just means that she doesn't do kegels or gets a daily pounding from a boyfriend with a giant fat cock (or takes it from a monster dildo). With that being said though, it's usually from not exercising any muscles down there. I've had chicks that have had multiple kids who could clamp down and I either couldn't get my cock in, or if I was already in, had trouble thrusting, even with lube.

    OT: Those that carry...
A gun is a lot like a condom. I'd rather have one and never need it than end up really needing one and not have it. With that being said, hell yes, I carry a concealed weapon. If you treat it with the respect that it deserves and behave in an intelligent manner, then you will rarely if ever have any issues with law enforcement. One time in Phoenix I was pulled over and had 6 AR-15 assault rifles in my trunk in addition to my CCW. Needless to say, the officer's eyeballs got as big as dinner plates when I handed him my paperwork and informed him of the weapons in the trunk. As you can imagine, it made for an interesting traffic stop. It's not every day you stop somebody who is packing more firepower than you are.

Redbook got closed down because they where laundering money. The site was a combo if paid ads plus reviews. The money from the paid ads was considered proceeds from prostitution given that they where laundering it to hide it. The other sites mentioned above are basically review sites.

    OT: Life Changes
@LMN I'll let you in on a little secret. Life isn't dull and boring if you're doing something you like to do and you're getting paid to do it. From there, it's a simple matter of living within your means. You say there's not much you like or are interested in doing. Dude. You're a youngster. You don't *really* know what you like because you're not old enough to have actually experienced much. As others have said, sometimes you need to pick something and just start doing it. You'll know soon enough whether you like doing it. You may surprise yourself and make some discoveries about what you like and don't like, but unless you take that first step of getting out of neutral, you won't find any of that out. This isn't rocket science, it's simple application of trying things to see what you like and don't like, however you need to be willing to actually try things. Step outside of your comfort zone for once and try some new.

    OT: Life Changes
@LMN your dad is requiring that you have a job and career because he is trying to teach you how to be responsible. You know, a grown up who can live on his own without the need for family money. Somebody who can set a budget and live within it, just like the rest of us do. This doesn't mean that he doesn't want you to have access to family money, it just means that he wants you to be a responsible adult, which is something you've repeatedly shown that you are not, both here on this board, and I'm sure in real life. So, with that out of the way, what do you *really* want to do next? It's not about what you're going to do for the rest of your life, it's about what you're going to do for the next 5-10+ years. Having a career used to mean you did one thing until you retired, but in this day and age, that's not the case any more. I'm on my 4th career right now. I'll do it until I get tired of it, and then go do something else, just like I did on my previous careers. My previous careers were things that I was interested in, but after I had been doing them for a while, felt that I had done what I had set out to do, and so moved on to doing something else. In your case, it sounds like private equity isn't your cup of tea, so besides doing drugs and partying hard, what else are you interested in trying? If you don't know the answer to that, then if I where you, I would make figuring that out a priority. Surely you have other things you want to do or at least try. Personally I would use this as an opportunity to reset and re-baseline your life. Simplify down to the basics, set a realistic budget, and try live within it. Get a job you're interested in doing and go with that. If it turns out that after a while the job isn't for you, it's not the end of the world, just move on to the next thing that you find interesting. Having your talk with your dad was good. He saw that you weren't happy with where you were at, and so gave you a breather to get on to the next thing in your life. That's what any reasonable dad would do.

Ten years is a rounding error... I'm at least 40 years older than your average stripper.

Could you fall in love with a stripper?
At least once every 3-5 years. It happens. The more ladies you come in contact with, the more likely you are to meet someone who totally does it for you on every level.

Do you tell your favorite when she is screwing up or just move on?
Oh please... If you want her back in the game, make her compete for your money. How do you do that in a strip club? Start paying attention to the other dancers. If she has half a brain she will do what she needs to do to keep you around.
