I was at Lust, Greenville SC one night when one of the bartenders had called in sick. Dancers had to mix drinks for their own orders! Rather than just "managing" the chaos, the manager jumped right in and helped, taking orders, mixing drinks and delivering drinks, all with a friendly smile and a brief convo with all the customers he had interactions with. To me, that guy was the model of what a strip club manager should be.

I did a "parking lot review" of Paper Moon, Springfield about three years back after they told me that daytime entry required the purchase of an overpriced bottle of champagne or a $100 deposit for a dance to be chosen later. I politely refused and wrote a review describing that event, mostly to warn other tusclers.

Very saddened by this. He was afflicted with dementia for the last few years, although he was able to continue touring because his long term memory was unaffected. I watched one of his concerts in Jacksonville about 45 years ago. Just one other guy besides him on stage - one of the most enjoyable concerts ever.
