Are you and your friends black by chance? Because the bouncers at Penthouse Detroit will use that "members only" BS to turn away black customers...they never asked me or anyone I know for a membership to get in but I have heard stories like yours from black customers in other Detroit clubs.

Why do people rationalize all customers as being the same? Dancers aren't all the same so why would the customers be?
My reality in the clubs might be far different from yours. I may have a completely different view of SCs depending on where I go, when I go, and the reasons I go. That's in addition to the obvious age, social, physical, and cultural differences.
I just hate the idea that only fat, old, white guys can be guests in SCs.

If I were Scores, I'd be watching out for Play House and vice versa. I see that they both have ads out in Real Detroit Weekly. All of these clubs can't survive in a city losing population...things should get real interesting after they both open. Might get ugly.
