  Kind of old news. Prostitution has been legal in Canada for some time. What hasn't been legal is the "communication for soliciting prostitution", or the maintenance of a "bordello", as which a strip club where extras are sold could be classified. I guess that a person, or two persons, could sell a prostitution date by talking in purely hypothetical terms and not talking about money
